Yuki stood looking out of the glass door that lead to the small balcony connected to his room. The rain pattered on the wooden deck. Each drop made the young boy flinch a little inside. The rain always brought back memories that he'd rather not have and that night replayed through his head again. Suddenly, the rain pattered to a halt and a ray of sunshine broke through the clouds. He smiled a small knowing smile. RJ probably did that again. Yuki thought to himself.
He wiped the bit of water that had built up in his eyes away and walked over to his dresser, beginning to look for an outfit for today. Yuki pulled a black T-shirt over his head and brushed his hair out of his eyes. He grabbed a pair of dark blue, jean, shorts and slide them on. Yuki slide two black arm sleeves onto his forearms, pulled on a pair long white socks, and his tennis shoes. He took a minute to comb his hair and left his room, making his way towards the stairs.
The thought of his flower garden popped into mind as Yuki turned the corner towards the glass backdoor. As he threw open the back door and rushed outside, he crashed straight into the back of Angel as she stood taking in the morning air. The young boy sat rubbing the back of his head as he looked up at the older girl. "Gomen, I didn't see you there sis." he apologized. He called just about everyone here brother or sister and every now and then it came out when he spoke. Then again, everyone here was like family to Yuki.
There is a place within each of us where we cannot escape the truth; where virtue sits as judge. To admit the truth of our actions is to go before that court, where process is irrelevant. Good and evil are intents, and intent is without excuse.
