" Oh, she can come in the afternoon if she likes. We'll have her home before ten tomorrow, it's just there was so much to do today!" Ria said, not fazed by Mr or Mrs Wilhelm. 'Here's my number. Ring me if she's coming." Ria said, handing Mr. Wilhelm a card, and walking away.

Ria sadly walked away, after Cat's embrace. She knew that there was more of a chance that Cat wouldn't be allowed back than there was that she would. Bfore she knew it, she had reached Central Park. Everyone gathered around her, questioning her. "She mightn't be coming back." Ria said clearly, and sadly. Naomi stared open-mouthed at Ria. "Not even with your Siren powers?" She asked, clearly upset. "No..." Ria whispered, before walking away, back under the trees, where she lay awake for hours, before finally dropping off.

Ria lay awake, thinking of Cat. When she was sure everyone else was asleep, she walked away from them, and watched the stars for a while. Before she knew it, she too was fast asleep.
In the morning, Ria and Naomi agreed to visit the Wilhelms, and bring Naomi's little sister, saying she was her friend.
'Right, so Lucy, you introduce your self to Melissa or Reichter, whoever comes to the dorr. Say you are one of Catherine's friends. Say you will be bringing Cat out to breakfast, if they will allow. But let Cat's parents come if they wish. Ok?" Naomi instructed the little girl. She was seven, Cat's age, but she acted ten. "Yes, we've been through this seven times." Lucy sighed.
"Ria!" A voice called. Ria tuned around and saw her dad running and dragging a suitcase behind him. "Ria... I'm leaving... He panted. "LEAVING?"Ria cried, and broke into tears. "Why why why?" she sobbed, hitting the wall with her hand. She hit it so hard, it crumbled. "Ria, I told you I couldn't stay here forever." Nathan tried to explain. "Well leave then." Ria snapped.

After Nathan had left, Ria dried her tears. "Right then, Lucy, Plan A." She smiled at the younger girl who had held her hand through her father's exit. "Right, so I go up, knock on the door, and ask if Catherine can come out for breakfast." Lucy said confiedently. "But don't forget to introduce yourself, and explain you're one of Cat's friends." Naomi reminded her. "Ok, right." Lucy said, running up to the door and rapping the knocker.

"Hello, my name is Lucy Braveheart. My sister isn't too far away, but she's gone shopping, so she'll be back in a minute. I met Catherine last night, and I was wondering if she could come out for breakfast." Lucy said politely. Naomi and Ria were stifling giggles in a bush. Lucy was smiling politely, but her wings were folded tightly behind her back, like she was tense. "You may come if you please." Lucy smiled, trying to charm Reichter."

"Hello Catherine!" Lucy said happily as she stepped through the door. She did recognise Catherine, for she had sat beside Naomi, and though she had stayed silent, she had indeed seen her. When Cat looked doubtful, she let a feather show to Cat, showing her that she was from Central Park. She was careful however, to not let Reichter see.

"Daddy, I do--"

The young Wilhelm was about to say to her father that the girl was not someone familiar to her. However, a sight of feather from the girl's back changed her mind. Lucy is connected to the creatures she had met and would not want to reject such a visit. She was enthralled to know more about these mysterious creatures and would love to know more. The girl intrigued her further because she looked as the same age as her. But, it had been proven to her that fantasy creatures like her had no qualms of getting old because it has no consequences upon them.

Reichter noticed her daughter stopping in mid-sentence. It made him worry if there was something wrong. Was the girl named Lucy not a friend? or Was there a bad event between them? He was not sure of what was happening as he gazed at his child and then to other. Sighing, he decided to ask so he would not be confused anymore. There was still a lot of question in his head and somehow there was the need to have all the answers. The only one who can was Catherine and possibly Lucy. However, he was not the type to force anyone to speak without their own volition. But, he wanted what his child wanted to say.

"Sweetie, what is it?"

His eyes locked into Catherine. She instantly knew she cannot lie but had to find a way around it and try to lie. It was the only plausible solution. Taking a deep breath, she held Lucy's hand and smiled so brightly. Convincing her father is difficult, but she must do so without revealing anything forbidden. Cat was not going to fail at all cost.

"Uhm... I wanted to say, I do know her and she is my best friend! So can I go have breakfast with her? You can come! They are fine with it!"

Lucy smiled as Catherine begged her dad to let her go. Her smile faltered a bit when Cat said her parents could come. Never mind, she thought.
Meanwhile, outside in the bush, Naomi and Ria were doing their best to see what was going on without much success. "Wait, give me a boost," Naomi said, "wait, no, I'll go in and say I'm Lucy's sister."
Naomi went up to the door and rapped it quickly.
