Hello, there! Glade to meet you! Welcome to the world of Pokemon! I am Professor Spruce, the one who will give you the tools you need to start your journey. In the world that you are about to enter, you will embark on a grand adventure with you as its hero. This world is one inhabited far and wide by creatures called Pokemon. For some people, Pokemon are pets. Others use them for battling. As for myself, I study Pokemon as a profession.

There are hundreds of different species of Pokemon, more and more being discovered as we speak; today you will enter a world that is constantly changing with many other eager trainers like yourself. Though Pokemon are used in many different ways, some people don't use their Pokemon for good, some use them for power... fame... domination! There are many mysteries in the Pokemon world, thousands of them that are yet to be solved, and for some it becomes too much, enough to the drive the mind mad. Team Nova is one of these such people(s) that are looking for nothing more than using Pokemon for their own greedy needs - your job is to stop such fiends.

But for now, they are nothing to worry about for your journey starts way before Team Nova, it starts out in a time of peace and prosperity, a time where Pokemon flourish in the Aida Region. Out of the several cities, your journey starts out in the quaint, busy city of Cloville, a place that is always bustling with life, and Pokemon. The sun is just rising over the city, and the shadows are just being cast, and like dozens of other trainers in Cloville, you are waking up early to the first day of your journey, the day where you will make a friend who will be with you for the rest of your life! Now, wake up, don't be late, the Pokemon are going fast!

Rules

• Strictly PG-13! [No sexual references whatsoever/No Swearing]
• No Godmodding [Battles held via chat/Pokemon D/P Wi-Fi/Shoddy/AIM/etc] Doing this makes the battles faster, plus it makes me as the GM worry less about godmodding, and such. I want battles held quickly, smoothly, and fairly. If it takes flipping a coin, whatever, just make it fair, everyone is a winner! If you can make this happen, then posting out the Pokemon battle is fine - if you want to do it in AIM or chat, make sure you give us details on the battle and the results so that we have something to post off of. I think chat would be more... easier though so others can read - copy/paste.
• I don't expect this to happen anyway, but no killing off characters, Pokemon, etc - without permission of course. But, again, when is the last time you saw someone get stabbed to death or shot in Pokemon... ? I don't expect any death to be involved at all.
• Respect all players as well as the GM at all times! I am the God here, my word goes over anyone else - but I am open to opinion, this role-play is meant to be fun.
• You must be literate and able to stick to a five sentence minimal(2-3 paragraphs would be wonderful). I want proper grammar, spelling, etc - I do not want speed-posters! Look over what you wrote before posting, make sure it is logical/plausible! One-liners are prohibited!
• To answer your question, no, you cannot play a Pokemon - you can play your own Pokemon but a Pokemon as a strict player who thinks for themselves and such is not allowed. Can you own a rare Pokemon... ? No, you cannot! However, along your journey in Aida, you might get to see great legends such as Darkrai, Celebi, Shaymin, and more!

• Please list all your future Pokemon for approval - you can have any Pokemon, this is not limited to starters only. All Pokemon are to start out at Stage 1, and be logical about letting them evolve in the future please. Also, everyone starts out in Cloville city - that is everyone home-town since I have yet to create other town names, we will create them as we go. If you want another home-town, then please send me the town name for approval.
• If you wish to play a Team Nova member, Gym Leader, etc, please ask before you make one. You can have two characters maximum. If no one is playing a Gym Leader, etc, then it will be NPC. Before you name a character, Gym Leader, or even a city, please, again, bring it to the OOC. I want all ideas posted here and plotted before someone just throws something out - stick to the plot unless said otherwise.

Brief Biography:He was adopted in Cloville town, after being left at the door step of annother woman whom happened to not be able to have babies. She was raised as his own, and didn't find out about them not being related till later, but that didn't change the way they acted. His father was a Pokemon observer, and studied, and explored the dungeons of pokemon themselves. Kizyora was to a certain extent proud of his father, but more than anything he wanted to surpass his father in the skill of battling. Although this was his wish, he first would have to get his hand's on a pokeomon, which he had yet to obtain.

At that point he began to observe the pokemon species with his father's data, to make sure he knew if not everything, more than his father did in the Pokemon world. Although he wasn' the studying type, or the type to do things like this, he did to make his father proud, and surpass him. In the end his father left and told him they would meet one day, his father was forced to go further out into the world and discover pokemon. Although they were not related by blood, the bond felt as if they were.

From that day on, he vowed with his father, to make his dream come true and, to allow no one to stand in his way, not even him. He promised his father and mother that he would become the best no matter what, and if he had to plow his way through every trainer in the world, even Ash himself, then he would gladly do so. Although these were big words to talk for someone whom had never had a pokemon, the determination of him was enough to say that he had a chance in the world of pokemon.
