Beliiiieve me...
Livin like this aint eazy.
Beliiiieve me...
Livin like this aint eazy.
Beliiiieve me...
Livin like this aint eazy.
Beliiiieve me...
Cuz livin like this aint eeeeeazy.

He wuz a youngsta.
He had no otha sistaz or brothaz.
His fatha wuz abusive, and he barely knew his motha.
His grandparentz wuz still alive, but they aint had a heart.
And I guess somewhere along the line, his family fell apart.
By the age of fourteen, he wuz livin on the streetz.
He moved in with some friendz, and he learned to earn his keep.
They taught him how to steal --
And they taught him how to fight.
He learned how to keep it real --
And live the hardest life.
He did this every year from January to December.
Then grew up, and swore an oath that he would be remembered.
He started writing rhymez about the shit he thought wuz sleezy.
And when thingz went wrong, he sang this song.
Cuz livin like this aint eeeeeazy.

Beliiiieve me...
Livin like this aint eazy.
Beliiiieve me...
Livin like this aint eazy.
Beliiiieve me...
Livin like this aint eazy.
Beliiiieve me...
Cuz livin like this aint eeeeeazy.
