Sky was surprised as the woman disappeared "What did she mean by Death's calling?" he whispered into Phidius' ear "She didn't look like she was going to keel over and die at any time soon if you ask me."" he said, frowning slightly. "This silence is almost as intimidating as if they were threatening us isn't it?" he said, shivering as each of the beings silently considered the others, "You could cut the tension with a knife and use pieces of it to cool drinks" he muttered

Kyra looked up from her small pool, her eyes unblinking as she tied on her cloth once more. Sighing she stood up before spreading her beautiful wings, her heart pounding as she sensed others around.
In a breaths moment she was in the sky for the first time in months, her black hair blowing back against the wind. Her face showed no emotion as she once more felt the freedom of the sky.
Landing softly in the sky she felt the prescence of two others, still her face showed nothing as she whispred to herself. Turning towards the two she let out a small sigh before dipping her head in acknowledgement, her eyes seeking light behind the darkness of silk. This was the rules of her punishment.
In the sky she could no longer have sight of the gifts of the Heavens.

Shina turned her head and looked to the angel. She shook her head a bit and looked back to the human. She was about to say something to him when Bliss stepped out. A slight grin formed on her lips. "Oh i know he will be back.. And if you can remember.. I have a hard time dieing.." She bowed in respect to Bliss before turning back to the man.

"I will be fine.. I wish to know more about you. Why you showed up." She explained quietly, kneeling beside him and her pink eyes gazing into his eyes.

"It is not everyday that I am able to see a human walk so willingly into a group of people who are clearly not human.." She smiled a bit and was about to say more when Luka screeched overhead, flying above the trees and looking for a place to land so that she could make sure Shina was ok.

Miko and Kage had gone head to head. The two of them fighting it out with blade and with magic, much of the forest close to the plains ripped up and burned. The ground was littered with large holes and giant boulders, trees and shrubs were still burning and the two of them were growing tired. But Miko, still lost in her berserker rage, would go until she was dead. Only, she could not die. Thanks to that slug in her chest, her body was already dead, her soul and mind a prisoner of the body that the black thing now controlled.
"When you wish upon a star... I will kill you, near or far..."

Sky turned as he spotted another figure flying towards them "Another angel" he said "Curiouser and curiouser" he mused, before remembering he was trying to stay inconspicuous and ducking back down behind Kronos' neck.

Alanna paused in her onslaught of power, she could sense something... something more evil than any of the demons she had ever encountered. She thought it must be attracted by the energy they were releasing in their duel, and as such she paused in her attack, removing all her magic bar a shield before calling to the girl "I would advise we cease fighting. Something is being attracted by the expulsion of energy. Something bad."

Verade grinned excitedly once the rock monster came toward her, roaring viciously. She giggled, the tinkling drowned out by the monstrous crashes. She spun once, whipping her beloved sword toward the center of the monster, ready to engulf it in flame and powerful, powerful winds. The lightning didn't surprise her either. She rolled backward, dodging the lightning before awaiting her sword to return to her.
Verade nodded at Alanna, raising her hand and ceasing her sword before it jabbed the monster. She held out her fist, opened for her sword hilt. It flew and landed in her palm. "Where is it coming from?"

Aregxis and Deruku watched on as many events happened around them, silent and just listening to them, a few going off by themselves, just then they heard a screeched from above, turning their head upwards to the sound they saw something flying above but couldn’t really make out who or what it is, because of the sun, "what is that thing?" Argexis questioned as his eyes narrows in on Luka

Alanna scanned the trees "I don't know exactly" she admitted "But it's close. I'm not sure it was aiming to attack us originally, perhaps it was running from something - or at least reconsidering it's angle of attack, but I would assume that the energy we were emitting was too great for it to pass up." she said, frowning "But I don't know about you - but I don't intend to be easy prey." she said, raising her staff defensively

Gillian was very confused. What the… Out of seeming nowhere people began showing up. First a women all in black, the man that had given Shina his medic pack, and now another angel. She hadn’t been around this many people in a long time. And no one was supposed to know she was even here. With all the confusion she decided it was time for her to leave. She had done all she could to assist, there wasn’t much more she could do. Perhaps I can find another cliff to fall off of and help someone else. She laughed at the thought. Well that probably won’t happen again, I was lucky this time I didn’t break anything. Its not a common practice for dragons to be waiting under cliffs for maidens to fall on top of them. She shrugged her shoulders. With one more glance back at Shina, Aregxis and Deruku, she fled into the forest.

Shina looked at the elf, then at Luka. "A griffin. She hatched and was raised by me. We are linked through our powers, since she shares my powers." She smiled and ran her hand over the smooth black feathers. Luka clacked her beak a few times and Shina laughed.

"I know.. I still have not gotten food.. But as you know by now.. I ran into a bit of trouble. I could not get the food." She smiled and turned to the dragon and the elf.

"This is Luka... Luka... Aregxis and Deruku."

Argexis watched as Gillan ran off into the forest and he turned to shina "I belive i don't know your name yet... miss, and about food there's lots of them in the river... and to top it all of i heard that griffins are one of the most elegant creatures alive.... unlike-" Argexis was pushed into the river next to them by Deruku 's tail as the dragon frowned, purposely not allowing him to finish his sentence, Deruku spoke with his low deep and somewhat metallic voice, "why don't you get some fish for the ladies" he question while turning to Argexis who just stood up in the middle of the river thoroughly wet from head to toe, his green eyes narrowed on Deruku, "ohh your so going to pay for that" said Aregxis as he quickly graded a fish out of the water with one swift movement like it was extremely easy and threw it at Deruku, who happily opened his mouth and swallowed the fish with much delight... Deruku turned to the girls, "what about having fish for a meal instead of hunting animals"

Aiden jumped back over 5 feet, pulling his sword out of his victim. The man fell to the ground and lay motionless.

"Now, for my bounty," He whispered to himself before going to a nearby town and stepping inside an old shack.

"Did you get him?" A cloaked man asked.

"Of course. Did you expect anything less from me?"

"No. I know you Kane. Now heres your money," He handed Aiden a leather pouch.

"Good. Thanks John." And with that he allowed his wings to open, and flew out of a hole in the shack.

Shina laughed when Geruku pushed Argexis into the water. She bowed to the dragon respectably. "My family was raised around dragons. I chose a griffin as she was the most susceptible to my powers. Dragons are still highly honored in my family.. And I am sure that they always will be." She smiled and turned to Luka, who was looking at Argexis in the water hopefully.

"I think fish will do just fine."

Tika could feel the turmoil and conflict from within her own family far below. She sighed heavily and shook her head, unable to deal with the confrontation that had been sparked by the death of her brother all those years ago. She sighed again and stood from her chair, walking around the room a few times before she went to the balcony and opened the large doors, walking out onto the plat form and looking down from the floating kingdom to the earth below. "This is a pointless battle.. She will never survive.. And I can't sit back and let him kill her."

After a moment of looking around, she dove off the balcony, plummeting toward the earth. her feet started to glow and she took off, pointing straight down for the now clear spot near the entrance to the forest just outside the plains.

Standing out in the rain Maxwell looks up as he was soaked through his cloths, the dragons he was watching over remained in the cave sleeping. He sighed lightly as this place to him was depressing but begin with the dragons made him somewhat happy that they don't fear him at people do. Looking down he spotted several demons tiring to get to the dragons. "Well I guess my day will be eventful after all.” He says calmly walking to the demons unsheathing just one of his two blades keeping one arm hidden under his sleeve as held his katana in his left hand. The demons roars then screams when Maxwell got to them.

Sitting on a rock with a bow and arrow he yawns a bit standing over a field of demons with several arrows in each of them. Oh no these arrows was special created from unstable shadow energy you see it was breaking down and absorbing the demon's essences into it. "Heh ...Another boring mission but as along the pay is good I don't care. "He says looking up to the sky while spreading his wings.” I wonder what sister is doing...."He recalls the arrows a ripping slashing sound could be heard as this goes on. Absorbing them back into his right wing he laughs a bit turning the demons into nothing.” I should find her after I collect my payment and be on my way. "Kengen says flying off a bit more excited then he should be but he was just thinking about bothering his sister.

Gillian continued on her way through the forest. After a jumping over trees and climbing over rocks, she was now thoroughly lost. “Fantastic” she groaned “This really hasn’t been my day”. Not to far off she heard the sound of rushing water. She must have been unconsciously following the river, “Now aren‘t I clever” she laughed “I suppose human instincts aren’t all bad.” Gillian was so happy to see the river she paid no attention to her surroundings. She could hear the river getting louder as she continued jumping over fallen trees and instantly found herself knee deep in mud. For the second time that day she screamed so loud she was surprised there were any wild life left in the forest. This time the scream was more for frustration then fear. A long stream of curse left her mouth, then she started laughing hysterically. Where was Argexis to see this display, he had found it most amusing the last time. With one quick tug on her leg she found the rest of her body lying in the mud. She was laughing harder this time, what a picture she was; her hair, face and hands were covered in mud. She sat up, further dirtying her gown, she looked towards the sound of water and saw the river not five feet from her. Looking down at herself and shrugging Gillian climbed her way out of the mud and went to wash up.

How do you kill something that shouldn't exist?

There was a question for the ages... That was the story of Kaine Walker's entire life. Running... fighting... Both the Angels and the Demons, the good and the evil... He was seen as an abomination, meant to be destroyed, one that was never meant to tread the earth. How does one keep living with no future? Again, another good question. One had to make one's own future, not let it be forged by others. Kaine knew this... hence the path that he carved through the plains.

A grim expression formed on his face, as he swung his blade, the flaming edge slicing through the opposing sword, cleaving it into two melted halves, before twisting his wrist and bringing it back down, the ice edge numbing the body before the being died, a highly merciful way to go in his opinion. The tip of his sword met the ground, the demon before him collapsing into an ungraceful heap at his feet. Kaine twisted so that the blade was in front of him, his right hand closed around the handle of the sword, his left down near the bottom, conforming to the shape of the sword, but at the same time, hovering just below the cold and blazing steel. He waited for the demon in the air to come down, before spinning, the icy crystalline edge of the blade coming around first, tearing a path in the ground as it came in a full circle. When it was at a ninety degree angle to the ground, he let it go, the demon unable to correct it's path before it was killed. As it fell to the earth, Kaine held up his hand, snatching the handle of the blade, and letting the demon keep flying into the ground. He took no pleasure in doing what he had to do in order to survive. He growled, and flicked the blood from his sword, as the fire and ice vanished, slinging it over his back and through the worn leather straps that held it.

He looked to his left, to see the entrance of a forest... That was where he had been headed. That was where he was headed. He looked back at the battleground behind him, shuddering at the ghastly sight, before spinning, and running off to the forest. He decided that his wings would be a nice plus about now, seeing as not a soul could see them. That was what had given him away, as well as his mixed aura. His sword hung directly down the middle of his back, right between the two long slits in the back of his clothing. His back bulged into a grotesque image, before exploding outward, his right wing spraying blood and exposing a large, black, leathery wing, the other coming out in a far more beautiful manner, spraying crystals across the landscape. This wing was a pure, pearly white, with glorious feathers adorning it. He spread both wings wide, and in mid run, he jumped, flapping them both hard, and bringing him above the earth, skimming along the surface. What he didn't realize was that at his current speed and trajectory, he was going to get to the angel woman's landing zone, about 2 seconds after she landed.

Taking a breath, the woman seemed to disappear deep between the planes of life, becoming nothing but a ghost, floating into invisibility in smooth brushstrokes. Bliss soon was gone, dispersed to the universe and spinning through the world, racing to find her next place. Her next belonging.

A calling seemed to come to her, far in the distance. Bliss closed her mirror-like eyes, and drifted towards it, until she was there. The world appeared around her, but to the world, she appeared in smooth strokes of tan and black, her skin appearing and her clothes painting over it, her body half-clothed, and barely clad. But, she was covered enough.

Her black hair was pulled back into a long silky coil held by golden rings, and her appearance seemed slightly refreshed with every time she reappeared. Her black lips parted as her body was finally solid and composed, her chest rising slightly for a breast. Her curves and look was magnificent and ethereal, almost eerie.

She was standing near a stretch of land, a demon squeezing the life out of a human. Poor young man, she thought. Fetching fruits and necessities from the woods, and finding a demon to purge him of his sins instead. As the beast looked up, he growled, dropping the dead carcass, slowly fading from warmth into death.

The soul rose, as Bliss stamped her staff to the ground. Her lantern grew black, then burst into a bright orange light, almost blinding and seen by any around her- though it was no one but her and the demon, and the young man's soul. The soul was drawn to her, in awe of her beauty and strange elegance. To the dead, Bliss appeared much differently than she did to others. To the dead, her clothes where white and her hair was white, her eyes reflecting magnificent colors and fortunes of where that person's soul was destined to go. Thankfully, this boy was to be in Heaven.

The demon rose quick as the soul was engulfed and taken by the light of her lantern. Raising her staff, the light of her lantern shot to the sky, disappearing. Within a minute, it reappeared back in her lantern's small black cage. The boy's soul had been taken safely to the Heavens. Poor young man.

The demon sped forward, turning his head back for a split second to hear the cries of more of his kind from above along a natural terrace almost. Closing her eyes, Bliss felt a human-like life force up there. Slaughtering the demons.

Stamping her staff to the ground, it rolled up into a black mist in her hands that spread out and broke into two long black thorned whips. Twisting them, she lightly flicked her wrists outward. The life-like writhing whips shot forward, wrapping around the demon's throat, until his life too, was drained away.

Stepping forward, she seemed to shift through space itself and appear along the terrace like set of land, watching a man of maturity striking down another demon with a sleek katana. Another demon seemed to leap forward, abrasive and angry, readying a mace to slice at him with. But with the twist of her left wrist, Bliss's left whip shot forward, wrapping around the wrist of the demon, yanking him tight. Pulling her wrist in a soft snap-like motion, she slammed the demon into the ground. Again, there was something unreal about her, about how her so gentle gestures caused her snake-like whips to inflict great damage without much effort at all.

Instead of saying anything once the last demon was slain, she just looked up to the man, her whips recoiling into her hands and turning back into the long black staff with a lantern atop it. Hm. There was something odd about him. Finally, her lush black lips parted, and she spoke in a soft elusive manner:

"What makes you, human?"
One who knows nothing, can understand nothing.

As the rain storm pass quickly over head a mixture of rain water and demon blood slowly drips to the ground splashing softly with a soft dripping sound. Lifting his blade slowly slahsing down quickly several splashes of blood hits the ground moving his other arm running his katana over his sleeve to dry it. Keeping his blades mantains was something he loved to do, shething it he sighed lightly."Such low lives coming after my dragons.....I guess thats why Keepers are needed."Maxwell says calmly turning walking back to the cave but he stops thinking about something he forgotten.
"Water for the cubs."He says grabbing a several skin sacks walking to the near by lake in the forest, he didn't mind the walk it gave him a chance to think with out sulfur clouding his thoughts. Getting to the forest he sesnes others but he wasn't sure what they were, he didn't let it worry him to much as long they didn't enter the caves they would be fine.

The man slipped past her, walking away towards the forest once more. Had he not heard her? Ah, he must be human. For she would not be seen by him in her current ghost-like state. She had to take on a physical form to be seen or heard by the man. And thus, she followed him. Soft footsteps through the forest, floating nearby the grown man. In her mind, she stormed through endless lists of names, accounts of the living. Mark... Mathias... Maxwell?
It was on the tip of her tongue, but she would not decide his name before really being able to know of it. Instead, she but stuck near, invisible to humans, but well sighted to demons, angels, and all celestial beings between.

They approached the lake, the water glistening softly under the lush green canopy of the trees. Rays of light broke through, showering down a ginger atmosphere to this small place. But along the path were others. Not too near here, but at the river. The river parted out of the lake, flowing southward. Bliss sensed an angel, and... something twisted of darkness and light there. But she dismayed her thoughts, and turned from the man.

"The Watcher of Dragons. Dangerous business for a mortal." Bliss whispered. Her words would be carried like a soft eloquent breeze to Maxwell's ears, carrying gently as she closed her eyes and began to return to the terrace, and further to the cave, where she was slowly painted into the physical realm, a being appearing real, appearing human, all but her strange posture and air, and her eyes with irises like mirrors, reflecting all they saw.

"Ah." Bliss whispered quietly, stepping into the thick dark mass of the cave. She saw inside, and noticed the dragons, each large and beautiful and gracious. The cave was a large haven, and the human must be quite skilled to handle them all, she thought.

But then again, she had no reason to admire this human. Not yet. He had not proven to her that he was as strong as she suspected him.
Perhaps she should test him.
Or perhaps Bliss should just stop. Stop searching the face of this world, looking for something that did not exist. Looking for answers long washed away in the rains of change.

Unknown could feel all of the energies of the people that were in the forest at the time. He wanted to feed on them all, but he knew that there was only one that would satisfy that burning hunger for energy. And this woman had limitless energy. If he could find a way to tap into just her energy and leave her life force alone, he would never have to feed from another being again. The thought almost made him feel happy.

Turning, Unknown slinked back off into the forest, keeping tabs on his little energy bank. And watching the people she was with.

---

Tika landed about the Time that Miko's body was giving into the slug. There was little the angel could do for her niece concerning that evil little parasite, but she could save Miko from being taken by Kage. She glared at the demon and pulled out her half moon blades, crouching low. "Leave her be or you will meet your doom here and now." She hissed, the malice in her voice lessened by her beauty.

Kage laughed. "And just what are you going to do to me? Make me glow?" He laughed some more and stooped over to pick up the unconsious Miko. He felt a flash of white hot pain across his back and quickly turned, Tika standing there with blood dripping from both of her blades. Kage roared in pain and pulled his sword again, but decided against it and vanished.

Tika moved over to Miko, letting her blades disappear and lifting the small girl into her arms. "I must find someone stronger to watch over her. I wonder if Bliss knows of a person who might. She will, after all, be upset about the slug. No one should have created that thing.. And I fear she may be the only one who can get it out..."

Tika turned to take off, and noticed a man standing there. She cursed herself underher breath and gripped Miko tightly in her arms, looking closely at the man. She was not sure if he was good or evil, as the slug in Miko's chest did a good job of blocking out some powers when someone like Tika came in contact with the woman. SO at the moment she was on guard.
