In the beginning of this glorious war two leaders savagely killed one another to gain an upper hand and soon many joined the epic battle. Either the demons won and shrouded the earth into eternal darkness or the angels made one final last stand to save earth from their grasp. Although it wasn't their last stand for either group. It lasted more than a million years, though sometimes both sides were power hungry causing them to lose ruler after ruler. One battle actually destroyed an entire forest afterward. And now it still continues with fresh souls to fight or old. No matter how long this epic war will continue though now its a battle between good and evil...not as the war started out to be. Which seems good, but really isn't. Which side will you choose?

=Time line=

This is relatively in the past, an alternate time line due to the Angels and Demons climatic finish to their war. The end of the war obliterated both standing armies including many, many humans caught in the crossfire meaning that there are not fancy guns, robotics, etc. every one is rebuilding with the equivalent of slightly superior world war 2 technology.

/The Area/

Note: All of the areas are surrounded by mountains.

Kakariko Valley- In the middle of the mountainous borderlines the Neutral areas are. This is possible by the valley within the mountains. Many small towns can be found in the valley, which are mostly populated by humans. Current Neutral Leader: Near-Castor

Tarkus Forest- An area of dense forest, occupied by demons of all kinds. In this forest all the trees are gnarled, and all look alike, making it very easy to get lost. Very little light shines through the branches of the trees, so it almost always looks like night time, the most amount of light that shines through the leaves is at night time. For some reason, moonlight makes the leaves semi-transparent. This forest also has small oasis's, with beautiful meadows and clear blue rivers and a few lakes, which is located deep within the forest, looking very out of place, and are rare to come by. Current Demon Leader:

Deltora- This angelic area begins at a coastline and continues on for a few miles away from the mainland. Within the ocean contains 4 islands, which all have a jungle like landscape. Current Angel Leader:

A lot of people say that this idea is over done. But as you can see it is not exactly angels and demons.. Just good and evil. This story takes place in modern times, but in a place that is mostly medieval. Futuristic weapons are usable, but keep it limited please. Not everyone can have guns, or be a robot or cyborg.. One or two people.. The rest.. Swords and other such things please..

This is a long term open rp. We need evil people, good people,. angels, demons, humans, dragons, you think of it, you can be it. The plot is only good vs. evil. You can have your own plots and stories to make things move and make things better. I encourage that actually. Along with romance, fighting, betrayal. This is a good place to develop a character, or kill one, depending on what you want.

The rules are as follows!

No god modding, power playing, outhitting, or being a god or godly in any way shape or form. This is to prevent complications and fights amount roleplayers. This also means you can not kill a person without them giving you the ok. If you are trying to kill them and they find a way out of it, do not call them a noob, or say they are GMing, because they have a right to keep their person alive.

Keep all romance PG13 please! A lot of us go into more mature detail, but please, if you get that far then time skip or take it all to PMs. There are minors on here and they do not need to see that. Thank you.

Violence, nothing to graphic. If you cut someones arm off, don't go into detail about how it looks or the way the blood squirts out. Though rather fun, some people are queasy and might find it offensive.

FOLLOW THE SITE RULES PLEASE! I can not stress this enough. Do not break rules or you go poof. Yes.. I went there. You poof.

Devonshire Castle - Throne Room

The room was huge in size, one of the largest the castle had to offer; it was almost completely empty as well, except for the rustic, pelted covered chair centered in the back - which was hard to see because the lights were dimmed. But, if you looked close enough, you could see a faint outline of a shadow sitting in it, Castor: One of the most powerful vampires at the current time, and the most powerful figure in Kakariko Valley. The top-dog, leader of the forces in which presided in-between both light... and darkness.

Castor himself was a demon, a vampire, a race in which long ago was damned to hell... as if that meant much to him. For a few hundred years, Castor had walked the Earth, and gazed at the carnage both sides created; after long he realized that there was salvation to this endless battle of light and darkness, - a battle in which had been waged since the beginning of mankind - so he took his rightful place in-between the two clashing forces.

For now, he has done what he could to stay out of the war, to hide out in the valley, a valley in which was surrounded by the tallest of mountains; to Castor, it was like a protective wall, a wall that kept everyone else out, and the peace inside. Kakariko had been a safe, peaceful refuge since Castor first came there, and he planned to keep it that way.

"Erk..." One of the large doors creaked as it was pushed inward, light shining into the room, in which caused Castor to suffice a scowl. He could indeed stand in the sunlight unscathed, but it didn't mean he liked to. The shadows were his home, and he had done everything he could to keep it that way. "Shut that door... !" Castor ordered, gracefully rising from his throne.

"Pardon me sire, there is someone here who would like to speak to you. She has come a long way..." The man replied, pushing the door even more towards Castor, causing more light to break through the shadows. Castor shielded his eyes for only a moment before waving his hand, the candlelit chandeliers above instantly being set ablaze.

It was a warm and moist in the forest of Kakariko Valley as Xerxcuss was practicing his swordsmanship alone as always.

"199...200...201.." He counted as he swung his sword in a perfect vertical strike. Though he was practicing, he always had his mind elsewhere...

"Nothing will stop me... Nothing! I'll fight off every damn demon and so called angel till there all dead! NO ONE will ever use us again! NEVER AGAIN!"

As he though this his swings became much harder and faster. The anger in his diamond blue eyes grew and grew. "I SWEAR, I'll avenge my family and friends! DAMN YOU!"

As he swore into the air, so did his sword. He spun around and with all his anger and sadness he cut the huge bolder behind him in two. As his anger subsided, he griped the hilt of his sword will all his force and felt tears stream down his angry eyes. "they all died, because I was to weak.."

As his vision cleared he lifted his sword back upon his right shoulder and walked over to a stump and sat on it...quietly.
I'm Back! And ready to Roll...Play.
That did'nt come out as good as I thought it would...

A group of kobolds stood near the enterance of a dark and icy cave of the white dragon known as Drakel Nor. Drakel lived deep within the cave giving orders to his kobold minions while he relaxed and enjoyed his ease. Drakel was by no means lasy though as he was often seen hunting for prey or scaring the local humans.
Drakel cared little about the war as he saw no reason for him to join. Drakel was evil but didn't kill for sport. He needed a prize normaly of gold or gems. In fact he needed more for his hordings.
"Get me more riches from the humans." ordered Drakel
"yes my lord" said Jento the Kobold chief.

Soon raiding parties of kobolds came from the cave heading toward the human lands
"Why can't it act in an orderly and lawful manner?" "Because it's a Big Stupid Jellyfish."

"If you want a problem shot, ask a Turian. If you want a problem talked to death, ask an Asari. If you want a new problem, ask a Salarian. If you want a problem fixed, ask a Human."

The clouds floated idly by, drifting on the wind and the wind blew through long locks of white. Pale eyes gazed forward intently, a light shining round the body of a young looking woman. Her face was set into a scowl as she flew toward the large castle in the mountains, the valley that was hidden from all but her and those in the sky. In truth she would have known where it was anyway. Her mother knew everyone who had once been in charge and knew the leaders. Or at least two of them. So going there now she had no problem with it. She was powerful enough to defend herself, and who was stupid enough to attack the goddess of the heavens? No one that she knew of.

She landed and walked to the front door, walking in without knocking. She was confronted by a guard, but she quickly stated that she was there to see Lord Castor. The lord of the castle and current leader to the neutral side. She watched as the door was opened and she could hear his gruff voice, a grin spreading across her stunning face. The guard opened the door more and she stepped forward, slipping between the guard and the other door.

"Do you treat all royalty as such? Or just those who have more power then you?" She asked as she slowly walked toward him, a small charm around her neck faintly glowing, but with light far different then that of the sun.

Bliss: Escort of the Dead

Image

How long have I lived in this afterlife? Can I call it living? No. I've been dead for countless years now. Without a place to go. Without a final destination. This is my place. Watching Death in its happening, and escorting the souls He takes to their destinations. And I...

I remain.

The world seemed quiet, as of now at least. Bliss was settled unseen over a large protruding stone in the center of a small river running through the Kakariko Valley. Nearby, she sensed a Living. A mortal whose life was still intact- and quite strong. He drew her in, his life. She wanted a life of her own again, instead of feeling so hollow, so nostalgic. Bliss obviously desired more of this existence- if it was even existing.

But that light on its own was not all. Other creatures seemed to linger, darker. Souls she would never touch, never escort because they were going to be souls of innocence at birth. These souls are darker, more deceptive. Some humans were like this, but those humans were the ones she led to Hell.

Others were good. She admired them. Though it was a shame. Once upon a time, Bliss was human. Once upon a time, she knew what her real name was. She only used this name because of an old sage whom she escorted to the Heavens. He had called her the bliss in death. The good after the pain of life.
His first sight in death was a beautiful woman with a soft smile of black lips and silver eyes like mirrors.

And so she called herself Bliss.

Stepping off the rock, she fell into the water- though not getting wet. Instead, she disappeared before hitting the water, looking like she were fading into invisibility...

In the middle of a forest, behind a stump and man, she arose. Colors of black and peace swirled up from the earth, painting her existence until she was real and solid. Her body was clad in black cloth splayed over her form in strange ways. It wrapped around her left leg, and covered her abdomen and lower back, up to her chest. Her left arm held a black sleeve, but the majority of the right side of her body was bare. Her leg up to her waist was bare, with only golden trinkets tying the fabric of her dress and top to that of her barely existent bikini. Her look was exotic, and strange. She had black hair with a gray shine that was pinned atop her hair, falling into two pieces- one long and twisted down her back, coiled by a set of gold rings, and another smaller twist over her right shoulder.

She wore thick-bottomed Japanese flops, and had a tattoo of a dragon on her left upper arm.

"Do you hear them, see them?" She whispered to the red-haired man.
"They come, seek destruction and lavish in ways they cannot fulfill upon their own land's graces."
One who knows nothing, can understand nothing.

Not a sound - Not a sound was heard before he heard the voice. Not a footstep, not a breeze of wind, even a breath...

"Do you hear them, see them?"
"They come, seek destruction and lavish in ways they cannot fulfill upon their own land's graces."

The voice was so soft, beautiful and almost seductive. His natural instinct was to grab his sword and swing it with all of his might hoping to catch the person behind him, but he couldn't. The voice sounded so inviting and harmless, it were as if the words had an embodiment of there own. Each softly hitting his ear, sending a basket of wonderful feelings though his body as if he were being caressed.

He lowered his hand off of his sword and set it on his knee," I believe you have me at some disadvantage." He said softly in calm voice luke-deep voice. He started at his feet that where submerged in the deep forest grass below him.

"There is no advantage for the either of us. I seek not your harm, nor anyone's." Bliss slid around until she was at his side, standing beside him. Her arms were loosely hanging at the sides of her lean body, her silvery reflective eyes set upon something not seen anywhere near here. They drifted in a fog of a life long forgotten.

"What is your name? I've seen you before. Alone in this village..." Bliss slowly turned her head, her soft features facing him. Her black lips upturned a smile in that moment, her eyes beholding black pupils centered in the orbs of chrome reflectivity.

"I've also seen you near your death. Many times, warrior." Bliss raised her head back up and stared out over the forest, taking a breath as she studied the distant placement of Kobolds in the village, elsewhere of the forest. Maybe they'd come here. But she knew that if they ravaged the land like usual, she would have to go to ease the suffering of the Dead who die at those scaled hands...

The Light Dragon Odin sat in his residence just outside of Deltora, waiting, daring anyone of Darkness to pass his cave, which was near the city's main entrance, but well-concealed and -defended, for there was much knowledge, mental and written in those caverns.

He turned to human form and went to one of his large libraries that had gone up in his four-hundred thirty-eight years. He took out a scroll-yes a scroll-off a shelf and unrolled it, reading the old runes on it. It told of a great battle of millenia past, of the Old War. The war between angels and demons before humanity had built it's first city. It was one of his favorite reads, as the angels had a crushing victory, and forced the demons to go into hiding. Until the New War. The war that had wiped out much of what was Good.

He put the scroll back and continued through the large shelves, alone, with no one to talk to but himself and any angel who may visit.

He looked up to his right to see a figure of a girl who was absolutely beautiful, she was by far the most attractive lady he has ever set eyes on. He height, posture, size, her fair skin and dark hair- all perfect. It was as if he was having a dream. Her outfit was a bit revealing but Xerxcuss was a gentleman at heart and only looked in her eyes...Her eyes where as if she was looking right through him as if she knew more about him than himself, yet she asked him what his name was.

"My name is Xerxcuss, its not my real name...but its the one that I go by for now." He said in a soft tone as if he thought she would already know.

He stared at her for a second, her beauty still stunning him. "May I ask what your name is M' Lady? And how do you know me? I don't believe we met before, you seem somewhat familiar though."

If fact he has seen her before. In the dream he had when he passed out from a terrible wound he got in battle.

Bliss turned her eyes down to him again, her full lush lips still upturned into a soft elegant smile. She smiled not as if she were happy, nor as if she were plotting cynically against him. She smiled as though she were at some form of peace, beyond life itself.

She looked upwards to the sky, the light sun lingering there. When Bliss looked upwards, into that bright sun, the light was reflected, making it seem as though some brilliant light was erupting from her eyes. But she blinked and turned her head back down, looking back to the Earth and the lush green beauty around her. And back to the man.

"We have met. You dream of me when close to death. I wait, by your side, loyal to walk you to the Gates of your Afterlife, when time bids you there. My name... My name is long forgotten, from a life long past. By the souls who dream me, I am called Bliss." Her voice was so soft, so gentle and silky against the mind. A soothing voice with a amiable tone to it. Gentle and feminine, the voice heard in many dreams. The voice of Bliss.

"Why do you cry?" Bliss then asked. "I see you cry sometimes, and I cannot comprehend why. It has been so long since I have walked this Earth with blood in the veins and innocence in my heart. I cannot remember what is to cry for."

Again Bliss looked over him, stepping forward more-so to pass him. There she began to softy pace over the grass, turning finally again to face him, her eyes reflecting the soft green lush around them- appearing then as a chrome lime tone.

"Do you treat all royalty as such? Or just those who have more power then you?" Cackling, waving his hand, the few chandeliers which hung above his throne dimmed their light, casting a shadow back around Castor as he sat back down, placing a finger across his chin while another along his jawline. "Must you have that stupid light... ? Even masked in the shadows, it still burns my eyes." Castor complained, sighing before sitting up and placing his arms along the armrests.

"And if you really want to test my power, you best have your affairs in order, cause I'll be sure that you do not take one step out of this room. I will turn you to not but dust, forcing you to live an endless life floating subtly in the breeze, watching as the world turns to ash. Damned angels. Good, evil, I see no purpose in such words and allegiances. People naturally have both good and bad, so I don't really understand the meaning of picking sides." Licking the corner of his mouth, and shaking his head to the side because of the constant rambling, Castor grew quite serious. "What is it you want angel... ? Or should I say Tika...? Why have you come to disturb my peace... ? It has been a long time I must admit, but I don't see any the logic in you coming such a long way to see me. Vampires and angels rarely just make conversation... but if you really want to have a little fun, why not let me have your neck? An angels blood is so good... even though it's a sin to feed from such a source." Castor mused, his eyes turning a dark red before he instantly appeared behind Tika, arms wrapped around her waist.

"But don't worry, I wouldn't commit such foolery. What is you seek in my presence?" Castor asked softly, his lips caressing her left ear as he spoke.

::Dark Balmung - Kakariko Valley::

He hovered in a cloud above the large vast valley as he smiled. This place would be where he struck and destroyed those who either did not suffer, or enjoyed as a reward of battle. They were neutral in the war between Angels and Demons, and Balmung found it annoying that they didn't even fight in the first place. Not only that but the lust and wrath that built up right underneathed his skin, that made his blood boil was amazing, and encouraged to battle, so he would make that another excuse.

As he jumped from the clouds one hand aimed in front of him, his palm thrusted in front of him, as seals began to appear in front of him, before a large white and bulk dragon appeared, in which he fell right on top of it and soared amongst the great Grey skies of the valley. As he did so he stood on top of his back, and smiled as he then tapped his chin in decision of where and who to destroy first.

As he did so, he remembered the powerful vampire that was amongst them at the Castle, and he twitched a bit and looked down to be sure no one was firing up to attack as he looked back up and deciding when to attack. When he remembered that the powerful vampire was here, someone who would make him actually fight, he became even more anxious, as he went above the clouds to avoid attention and plot what to do.

Sky swooped down towards Odin, landing gracefuly beside him with a smile on his face "Morning!" he said cheerily "How are you today my scaly friend?" he asked, sitting down idly on a rock, his wings folding behind him and his hair shining in the sunlight "It's a beautiful day isn't it! Just to be alive!" he said before laughing for the sheer fun of laughing "Can't say all of our friends back in the city are of the same opinion though. I can't really see the point in this war you know - nobody can even remember why it started any 'more, just that we're good and they're evil. All it seems to be doing is to create suffering on both sides and the poor people caught in the middle. Isn't that supposedly what we're trying to prevent?" he said, sighing, his boyish face flashing a sad smile for a moment before the ever present smile returned "But I suppose that our lady would call it off if we weren't doing the right thing. Wouldn't she?"

Verade stood in the empty Tarkus Forest, her silky black hair whipping around her face. The wind was even blowing back her black dress, and chilling her feet. Her shoes were two meters away, sitting by a tree on the outside of the small clearing she was standing in. She was standing before a dummy, made from grass and cloth she patched up.
She ripped the sword from her back, pointing the tip to the ground before speeding forward, slashing the dummy to mere pieces. Her smile then turned to a frown, and Verade spun around to meet a tree. She grinned again, slashing the sword through the tree easily, even though it had a two-foot diameter.
Quickly jumping back, Verade barely avoided the thirty-foot tree that was crashing down. The noise could most likely be heard miles away, but she didn't care.
She grinned, a wicked glint in her eye. "Perfect..." she cooed to herself, calming her nerves as she slid on her shoes. The sky was gorgeous above her, and the sun radiated into her monstrous sword. Welcomingly, Verade held her blade up to the sun, watching the cool metal turn to a blazing red.
She smirked, spinning around a whipped the sword at a tree two meters away. The blade struck the center, setting it in flames and smothering it in ashes. Verade let out a cackle of amusement. "Brilliant!"
Stepping over to the battered tree, she removed her sword from the trunk, her smile spread across her face.

The Kobolds entered villages and towns looting them of all they had. But one group entered the woods this is the group Drakel watched from his cave. The group of kobolds soon found a man and a woman and they surrounded them.

"give us all your gold and gems and we won't kill you" ordered the leader of the group.

Drakel looked at the there was something about that girl had he seen her before? He had to see, so he set to the sky fling toward the forest.

Odin grunted at Sky, but put on a rough smile. "In my years...which are more like centuries, I find it increasingly hard to have fun. You're one of th eonly perople who visit me in my caverns, and I thank you for it." He gestured into his cave, "Would you like any tea or coffee, my young sprite?"

Sky smiled "Tea please! And how could you find it hard to have fun? Can't you just go for a fly somewhere pretty? Or visit some friends? Maybe it's 'cos you're always cooped up in your cave!" he said, laughing

Alanna strode confidently through the forest, despite the fact she had no allegiance to the demons, her appearance served to fool casual onlookers into thinking she was a demon herself, and her power served to teach any who challenged her a lesson. Spotting a young demon girl training she paused, before turning to the large demonic Felguard that was following her "Stay here and intercede if necessary." she ordered before walking out "Greetings young demon." she said, inclining her head "I have been admiring your skill with blades, such prowess for one so young. But perhaps you are not so young as you seem? My name is Alanna, might I inquire as to yours?"

Odin laughed for Sky's sake as he walked in, "There is almost nowhere in this world I haven't flown...besides, the world's a more desolate place than it used to be, now, anyway." he waved his hand as the kitchen came into view and a tea kettle went on, "And, my young Sky, after my over four-hundred years it is hard to find anything fun." he waved his hand again and water went into the kettle and the fire started. He looked thoughtful, "Sky, I rarely offer this to anyone, but would you like a ride after tea?"

Sky's eyes visibly widened "Really?!" he asked "Awesome! Yeah! Riding a dragon! That's so cool! Thank you thank you thank you thank you!" he said, jumping up and down with excitement. "Where are we gonna go?" he asked "How high can you fly? How fast can you go?" he asked, and kept bombarding questions at Odin, almost bursting with excitement. "This is gonna be so fun! I can't thank you enough! You're the most awesome dragon ever!"
