The Wayfayers bar was a rather large bar, that was smack dab in the middle of Delvia. It was so big, that it was rumored that people could see it from space. That was the clients that this bar was trying to attract. People that would visit from other worlds that is. Really Verline could use to meet someone new. She was really bored. She tended to be bored a lot these days. Nothing really excited her anymore. She had tried pretty much everything to get her out of this funk, but nothing worked. She sighed, she was really depressed. None of her kind was like her. There must be something wrong with her. She was like a freak of nature to her own people. Though nobody really treated her any differently then they would anybody else, she still felt like an outcast. She ordered one of the strongest drinks that they had in the place.
"I will have one MindBlower"
She said to the bartender, who started to mix the drink without asking why she was ordering such a strong drink. Really that sort of thing wasn't very unusual in this world. Still the Delvians were experimenting with drinks and tried to make them stronger and stronger. Some of the concoctions that came up, well...some that they came up ended up killing people.
She sat down with her drink, looking over the group of people in the room. Some were creatures she had never seen before, but...none of them caught her eye. All men seemed the same to her now a days. Would she ever meet someone different? Someone who would show her that life was worth living? Her life was pretty much a drag now, trying to pull herself to different things just for a spark. Where was that spark in her life? It didn't seem to be anywhere around here. It didn't seem to be anywhere at all. Maybe, maybe she should just give up. Live her life like a human, the race she thought was the most boring of all. Though, the thought of living like that renewed her desire to find that somebody who would help her. But...who was this person? They would have to be somebody special that was for sure. Someone different, different than all the people in this bar.
"Maybe he will just walk through that door, right about...now..."
She swished her tail, pointing at the door. Her tail could do minor magic, not make some guy appear. But..hey..it wouldn't hurt to try after all. Most of the people in the room ignored her, but the people from other worlds sort of gave her odd looks. She made a face at them.
"What ya looking at?"
The others looked away from her, and she continued drinking her drink...thinking it could use to be stronger. Dreaming...dreaming of that special man that she had wanted to meet ever since she had fallen into depression after her two kids had been born. All he was , was just someone in her imagination so far...

Poping out of a truck's cargo was a braty looking creature he stood nearly five feet tall and had a sly smirk on his face. He was short and hated it, the only piece it gave him was that it made hiding easy.
"Now where the heck am I? You'd think after hitching a couple of rides there would be some place worth... "
Looking around he saw strange people of all types running around this bustling town. He was in awe all the goings on at this new locale. "Hey, this just maybe my type of place after all. All this traveling's makes a guy thirsty. Now where can I get myself a drink?"
His luck was in rare form today. What are the odds of a bar being so close by. Walking towards the place he passed a local fruit vender. Pretending to look over the man's wares he slid a banana into his pocket.
"The people hear were suckers too, he sighed."
Every place he goes leads him no where. There's no place for him and no one for him. He travels from place to place seeking some sort of adventure, maybe that;s just because nothing has ever bound him anywhere. Taking the banana out of his pocket he ate it as he approached the Tavern's doors. As he entered he tossed the peel on the ground just outside of the tavern doors. Inside of the tavern he found the same thing that he saw outside, suckers...well umm people that didn't have a care in the world. Well except for one particularly blue lady that was as gloomy rain on a summers day. Suddenly he heard crash behind him, looking back he saw the face of an angry creature staring at him. shoving the last bit of his banana in his mouth he let out a nervous chuckle. The creatue just shot him a dirty look and kept on about his buisness.
Sitting next to the one he saw earlier he asked with a laugh, Can you he fell for that? Eh, sorry for the pun. He looked her over she was an odd creature but everyone here was odd looking, atleast most were humanoid.
"Howdy, you mind telling me what planet this is?"

Verline looked up as a man entered the room, soon after she did the spell. She rubbed her eyes, she could hardly believe it. No, she knew that he hadn't come because of her magic, but it was a very odd sort of coincidence. It seemed like this fellow was new to this world, well maybe she could help out this poor fellow. Delvia could be confusing to people who were new.
"This world is called Delvia, welcome to our world. I hope you enjoy yourself, but I got to warn you there are some places that your better off not going near. You see, this place doesn't have any law like you might be used to. But though it doesn't have any law, most people behave themselves. They keep the things they do to the area they belong in."
She couldn't help thinking of the spell, maybe it had made the next person who came into the room the one she was looking for. But what is the likelihood of that? She looked over at him closely. Somehow, he looked familiar. Though he seemed like everyone she had ever met so far, she decided to give him a chance. Maybe she could have fun with this one. She could really use some of that.
"What you say I show you around? Some places you should avoid, and some places you might like. Though I don't know what sort of things you might like. Extreme sports? Shopping? Video games? What? There's pretty much everything here."
One of the patrons of the tavern spoke up.
"I heard there is something new going on in the video area"
Humm, something new. That could be fun.
"Maybe we could check that out."

"So this place is called Delvia," reciting what the lady said. "It's a giant amusement park with no laws, sounds like my type of place."
He grinned as he thought to himself, who would've thought that he'd end up in a place like this. How he had come to be here was another issue altogether one minute he's in the back of a truck hitching a ride, the next he's on a strange planet yards away from a bar. Had he been summoned here? That was highly unlikely due to his current magic use restrictions. However the restrictions applied to him only; if someone used magic on him that would be a different story. Breaking his thoughts he responded to he the lady's questions.
"I like video games mostly but I look forward to getting into everything this place has to offer."
He looked over the woman slightly trying not to be too obvious, she stuck out from everyone else, he couldn't place exactly why he had approached her. It didn't matter though he had found himself a partner in crime so to speak. Having a guide would be a good idea, he might end up getting himself into some real trouble if he went alone.
"Life's always more fun when you have someone along for the ride with you, right? Let's go check out the video area" Standing from his seat he stretched his arms and yawned. " Umm, before we go," he paused would you mind telling me your name? I'm Lux," he reached out his hand with a grin.

"Yeah, it's called Delvia. By how you speak it sounds like you haven't come here via spaceship. Just how did you get here?"
She was pretty curious about him. She looked over him closely, he seemed pretty short but that didn't bother her. She really wasn't picky about looks. None of her kind was pretty picky about that. They pretty much got along with everybody, well except for boring people. So far this guy didn't seem boring at least. It was kind of nice being around someone who knew nothing about her planet.
"You like video games, seems like visiting the video area is what we should do first then. Then I should really show you places you should really avoid in this place. I wouldn't want you to be killed or anything by accidentally stopping in the wrong area."
She had no idea if she would be seeing a lot of this fellow. He might just be passing through for all she knew. Travelers tended to come and go, Usaully her kind didn't really get too attached to anyone. Though Verline was different than most of her kind. She really seemed to need someone to be with. Especially now that she had fallen into her depression. She hoped being around this man would lift up her spirits for a while at least. Verline was really hoping this person was the one she had been looking for all this time. For now, it was hard to tell if he was the one or not. Well it was going to take some time before she warmed up.
"My name is Verline.It's nice to meet you Lux. Now come along with me."
She stepped outside of the tavern, looking around. She started walking towards the street, making a motion as a certain kind of car drove up. It was sleek, seeming to be shaped like a bullet and had some sort of writing on top of it.
"Here let's take this over to the video area. We could walk, but...this should be a lot more fun for you. It will give you more of a feel of Delvia."
She waited for you to step in, then took a seat. There wasn't any seatbelts in the vehicle. She grabbed some sort of strap that was hanging on the side. You noticed, that it seemed that nobody was driving the car.
"The video game district please."
The car started to rev up, in a flash they appeared nearby someplace with a lot of buildings. There was a giant screen with Video Game district printed in several languages on it. It kept on flashing different attractions in the video game distract. She stepped out of the car, and started walking towards a booth, where a blue man like herself was standing.
"So where is this new attraction I heard about?"
The man motioned to a booth.
"Well,why don't we go in and see what the fuss is all about shall we?"
She stepped into the booth. Inside there seemed to be a mirror. A voice spoke to them.
"Look in the mirror, and you will see what your true self is."
Verline closed her eyes, she was expecting to see a human reflected there and she didn't want to see that. In the mirror you saw a knight. As Verline's reflection, you saw a dragon. When you turn to look at Verline, it seemed she had turned into a fierce looking giant blue dragon. And when you looked at yourself, you were wearing a whole knight's armor complete with a sword and shield.
"I don't wanna see this, what is the fun of this? Looking at mirrors? I thought the video area was supposed to be for games!"
A voice was heard.
"Soon the game will begin."
What sort of game would it be when you were a knight, and she was a dragon? Soon you would see...

Lux followed Verline to the car it was shiny and looked expensive, this was a strange world indeed. Sitting in the car he looked around at the all goings on along the way.
"You are right, I didn't get here by spaceship, I was in the back of a truck riding along a dirt road. I was watching the countryside slowly move by. There were fields and blue skies, a kind of boring yet peaceful place. It was taking me to a city. As I drifted off to sleep the truck hit a bump and I fell out of the back. Looking up I realized that I wasn't in the country at all, I was in a strange place with lots of people. I happen to be an easy target for magic users at the moment so I thought this was a joke. Thinking about it though no one I know has an imagination extavagant to make this world or you."
He was so busy looking around that he just noticed there wasn't a driver. He had no clue what to expect from this place, it wass just one curve ball after another. This Video area was sure to be a sight. He waiting anxiously as the car slowed to a stop. Stepping out he was amazed by the lights and sounds that came from all directions. This was surely and exiting place, he couldn't wait to see what was inside. Though overwhelmed he tried to stay calm and keep his cool. Running after Verline who was entering he sat in a booth with Verline. There was a mirror that showed one their true self. Watching his image change before his eyes he found that he was covered in armor, he looked like a knight of some sort. Looking to his guide he saw a great blue dragon. It was menacing, but he felt at ease.
I think dragons get a bad wrap, peronally. They can be very noble creatures don't ya think?
The game was about to begin. There was only two outcomes when a draon met a knight either there was going to be a fight or they would be companions. Both could be a problem. He didn't want to fight his new friend, but knight and dragons were both noble beings. A fight between them was a way of establishing a mutal respect. Standing before the dragon he waited to hear what would next come from the voice over head...
"I'm not sure what we're in for but give it everything you've got!"smiling as he spoke.

"So, magic users are in your world. You should tell me about where you are from, after this game. But I have no idea what kind of game involves mirror images. Why do you speak of dragons?"
Slowly, she started to open her eyes, and saw the reflection and was amazed at what she saw. A dragon. Now that was one creature she didn't think she would equate to. Why had it picked that she wondered? She might never know. She then looked over and saw you were a knight.
"Oh dear, if this game is what I think it is. It looks like we are going to fight. But I am not the violent type really. I really want this game to stop!"
She started to thunk at the mirrors, then moved to exit the booth they had stepped into. But then, before she could get out, the scenery changed. You didn't see Verline around at all. Now, where did she go to? And where were you? Looking around, you seemed to be in some sort of stone room with other knights of all races sitting around a round table. One of the knights speak.
"The princess is gone, there are rumors that a dragon has taken her. You must find her."
It seemed you would be going on a quest. It also seemed that Verline would be the enemy. But things are not always what they seem to be.

Lux looked around the tabel trying to regain his bearings. Shaking his head from side to side he took in what was being said. The game had changed no he was to save a princess; from a dragon no less. Taking a map from one of the knights he left stone room. The light from the sun was a surpisingly good reproduction it was easy to forget that this was a game. Walking through a forest he followed the map through to where it had been rumored that the princess was being held. There was a cave that sat in a clearing, the ground was scorched frim previous battles. Entering the dark cave he found an area that had torches on the walls; the dragon and the princess were both there. He had expected to be put into another confrontation with Verline, but that was not the case. The dragon sleep soundly and princess sat quietly behind it. Something wasn't right. The princess was to calm for this situation. Fighting the dragon would have been fun, at this point he could just take the princess and run. Trying to stay quiet he walked toward the princess. A bright light shown from the ceiling and an image appeared the image told him that the princess lived inside the dragon and vice versa. At the moment they were both at a peace, but when awoken they would war with eachother. They both wanted peace but neither could decide on the way to obtain it.
"You have a problem sir knight how do you plan to resolve it?"
Lux let out a little laugh That's an easy answer I'm going to wake them up! with that he clanged his sword and sheild together as hard as he could...

The dragon woke up, looking over at you. In your senses, it was not Verline but it really was. She yawned a little bit, suddenly she had gotten so tired. She looked over at you, she did not recognize you as the person that she was showing around the planet, but as somebody else. She growled a little bit. She did not like to be woken up like that.
"Shut up with your racket knight."
She swished at you with a giant claw, trying to pound you on the ground. The princess jumped up from the ground. She leaned her hands across her chest looking at what was going on. She gave a little gasp as you woke up the dragon.
"It was asleep, and you woke it up? You could of carried me off to the castle without the dragon even knowing. Oh why didn't they send me a more...intelligent knight than you?"
The princess picked up a bone from the ground and threw it at you. Now you seemed to have an angry dragon, and an angry princess. Things didn't look very good for you. But unknown to you none of this was really real. It was really a very sophisticated program. If you get hit by anything, you would feel pain but it wouldn't actually really hurt you at all.

A more intellgent knight she said, she was right he didn't use his head alot. That didn't matter at the moment though, both of them were quite angry. He dodged the dragon's claw, but the bone bounced off of his head. She had really good arm. Lux could sense that he was facing just one person, it fel like Verline. Problem was she didn't feel complete, her presence was divided. There was no doubt that the two were the same person,Verline was still unconscuios. Snapping back to the situation at hand Lux tried his hand at speaking to them. Maybe he could wake up the sleeping piece...
"I wouldn't mind having a more appreciative princess. You know I came all the way here to save YOU? I'm starting to think that I'm here to save you from yourself."
"What are you afraid of why is this dragon protecting what's inside of you? I'm willing to face it for you but you have to help me. She is you afterall, you two are one in the same. Maybe if you calm down she'll calm down aswell. Ver ya gotta wake up!
He looked at his sword and sheild. Stabbing the sword into the ground he looked into the eyes of the princess.
He knew Verline didn't like to fight so he was trying end this confrontation in a civil manner. It seems though a part of her takes quite well to fighting, and staying defensive was tiring. He looked at his sword and shield. Stabbing the sword into the ground he looked into the eyes of the princess.
"Dragon's protect treasures but this treasure is bound to the dragon. Is there anyway for me to take them both with me. Princess the choice is yours. I am your knight in shining armor, your wish is my command." Lux had a reasurred smile on his face, ready to tackle whatever happened next.

The princess put her hands on her hips, tilting her head to the side.
"What are you babbling about? There's a dragon to fight and all your doing is go yak, yak, yak. And about things that don't make too much sense either. I have no idea what your talking about. Do you realize just how crazy you sound?"
Either you were wrong, or Verline was more out of it then you could imagine. You were right, Verline did not like to fight so why was she fighting? What was the reason she had turned into a dragon in the first place? The dragon let out a loud roar.
"Stop disturbing my slumber and get out of here. Before I give you a real reason to get out of here. Like, being on fire or something like that? Maybe I should give you a little taste of my power. Then you will leave me alone."
She then started breathing fire at him. Just what was she doing? What was happening here. She wasn't acting like herself. Either she got a little too much into the dragon character or this was showing a part of herself. The voice had said that the mirror was reflecting what she really was. Maybe Verline was more like a dragon than she ever could imagine.
It seemed like talking didn't get you out of this situation, but perhaps you just didn't say the right thing yet. The princess watched the dragon breathe fire at you.
"My wish is that you defeat the dragon, so we can get out of here. I don't have all day!"
Boy did she seem ungrateful, did you really want to save her? Or would you just turn away and let the princess be a snack for the dragon.

This situation was beyond bizare, here he was trying to save a bratty princess from a dragon that just wanted to get some sleep. Hiding behind his sheild he reviewed his current state. Thinking about it for a few moments he, decided to ask a few more questions and make a plan.
"Dragon how could you possibly get any sleep with this chatty complainer around? I mean why did you kidnap her at all? She can't be what you consider company. If it wasn't for the fact the I am a knight I'd let you keep her. Did you take her to get me here? I'll stay here if you let her leave."
He didn't know what the heck he was saying but he had to try something. The Dragon was the sensible one out of the two, also she was what he saw when he looked at Verline's Reflection. After the dragon blew some more fire at him he decided to sya one more thing.
"Umm, you two mind telling me your names? I'm sir knight Lux by the way."
Maybe he had it wrong maybe this was just a test Maybe
Verline was the dragon and the princess wasn't part of her. There wasn't really anyway to tell, if they were both the same person this could get to be an even longer day than he expected. He'd fight Valerine if he must but he wanted to gain some more insight before he did anything rash.

At the question, she really wasn't too sure what to say. She looked at the bratty princess looking rather confused.
"I am not too sure why I kidnapped her. Maybe it is because that's what dragons do I suppose. Uh, you want to know my name? After I tried to singe your butt with fire?"
He was either a very brave knight, or just a stupid one. She tried to think of just what her name was. Right now, everything seemed fuzzy. She felt so tired for some reason. Like she hadn't slept for a week or something. The princess folded her arms staring at you.
"Your trying to find out the dragon's...name? Why aren't you saving me? Get me out of here. Fight the dragon. Do what your supposed to do. Ugh, some sort of knight you are."
The dragon pushed the chatty princess over to the side, knocking her out.
"Ugh, why don't you shut up you stupid brat. No wonder he isn't trying to save you. Anyways, my name is Verline. I don't understand why you are not trying to kill me. That is what knights do after all. You seem to be a very...different kind of knight. Well thanks for not trying to kill me, most knights would try to without even knowing me."
The princess then started to get up from the ground, her eyes turning red.
"Enough of this, it is time for you to see the truth of this whole thing."
Then Verline started to try to bite your head off, her eyes looked very strange. It seemed she was not herself at the moment.

Looking up with a start Lux ducked under the dragon's mouth. That was too close for comfort. What was happening? At one moment she was placid and the next she was trying to kill him. Verline had to be the dragon but what was the princess? Whenever she gets angry Verline would attack him. How did she have power over the dragon. Thinking things over the princess didn't need to be saved at all, the dragon was the captured one. Too much was happening for him to be thinking this much, but he had to resolve this issue. He was a knight Verline was a dragon and at this point the princess was just a problem. She wanted to be saved from a dragon that had no clue what was going on. On top of this she used to dragon to kill her rescuers. This was all confusing. One thing he was sure of was that he was on the dragon's side. The princess just wanted him to kill the dragon she thought less than he did.
"Princess what is it with you? Matter of fact who are you? What is this truth you want me to know?"
He wanted to just attack her if he could but that could be a mistake, he really hated to play it safe. Being with Verline for just this long made him do things that he wouldn't normally do. He was changing for the better even if it was slightly, he couldn't use his normal methods and mess this up. One way or the other he was going to find out what was going on. Even though he didn't want too he knew that he was probably going to end up knocking the princess out and speaking to the dragon directly, hopefully away from the princess.

"What is it with me? What is it with you is the question. There is an evil dragon and your not killing it. Who am I? I am the princess, and that is all that you need to know. I am the one you are supposed to be saving here. Your just wasting your time by talking. Now...pick up your sword and use it."
The princess, leans her hands on her hips looking annoyed. But the next thing you notice is her eyes are starting to glow red once more. You might start feeling a strong urge to fight Verline. The dragon then swished a claw in your direction, trying to grab you. The princess smiled a tiny smile, seeming to be pleased with the events that was going on here, but she was trying to hide her pleasure away from you as best as she could.
"I know you can use that sword. Why do you hold yourself back? Nobody can ever like that dragon. It is just a beast for you to kill. Another stupid beast that nobody wants."
What sort of game was this anyways? What sort of point was it trying to give? You might get a strong feeling that this was something very personal to Verline. Had you ever thought of why you had become a knight in the first place? Have you ever thought of yourself as that? Is anything in your personality made you the type of person to save people?
The dragon turned to the princess, shaking her head a little bit to try to get herself out of this fog that had came over her. She growled deeply.
"I did not want to kill you, but what you are saying is making me angry. I am not a stupid beast. This knight can see I am more than what I seem to be. He is much smarter than you. Come along, let's get away from this place. This princess isn't worth your time. I am sure we can have a grand adventure together without her. Let some other knight find her."
She lowered her head for you to get on. The princess starts getting very angry.
"This isn't how it's supposed to happen. She's evil can't you see? Kill her, kill her before it is too late!"

Looking up at hte princess he was certain that it was a wasted to continue to talk to her. For some reason she just wanted him to fight the dragon. this must've been her private fighting arena, hat was the only way any of this couold make sense. Nothing else made any sense. Gripping his shield he threw it at the princess. If he hit her maybe Verline would snap to her senses.
Caught up in his focus on the princess he didn't realise that he was well within the dragon's range. Without his sheild to protect himself he reached for his sword as the dragon grabbed him. He let out a scream as he felt his abdomen compress. Verline had a strong grip on him. He didn't want to use his sword against her. He wouldn't, but then again it was his only chance.

As you threw the shield at the princess, the dragon fell to the ground stopping fighting you for the moment. The princess stared at you in rage. Somehow you had fought off her power and you weren't trying to kill the dragon. This wasn't how she wanted it to go at all.
"You are a stubborn knight, not to do what I tell you to do."
Verline got off the ground, looking more clear than she was before. She gave out a loud yawn. It seemed that throwing the shield at the princess had awoken Verline from that stupor she was in. She narrowed her eyes at the princess.
"That princess was trying to control me. She is the evil one, not me. I bet she is the one who made me kidnap her in order to lure you into her trap. I bet once you took her from this cave she would try to kill you. Come on, let's get out of here before she tries to control me again."
She did not want to fight the princess, even after what she had done. She just was not the fighting type of person. She tilted her head to the side.
"I am curious, why didn't you try to kill me? I mean you came in saw I kidnapped the princess...it seemed that I was the evil one. Still you didn't even try to kill me."
It seemed Verline was not aware that this was a game, she still didn't recognize you.

This princess was an evil tyrant of some sort of this he was sure. Her words explained her role in Verline's existence clearly. Her purpose was to keep her trapped in a state of unknowing. Verline was going to be stuck in this place unable to live freely due to the princess's rule. Was his purpose to kill Verline's spirit? Shaking his head he collected his thoughts. His purpose was to free Verline, from her reservations. If they were the same person escaping the princess was what was needed. Escaping her harsh thoughts about herself.
He spoke to the princess, "I happen to like dragon's even if I must fight them and this one in particular has won me over." He smiled as he rubbed the tip of Verline's nose. He spoke to her, "There's no need to fear the outside, I'll be with you every step of the way. Until my job is done here you'll always have me near. There's no way I could hurt you, were friends. Anyway I don't think that would' ve the game"
Climbing up on the dragon's back he looked down at the princess, "You won't have to lord over this dragon anymore, goodbye."
What a pair a dragon and a knight, not something you read about often this would be a fun adventure indeed. How could he be aknight though? Could he possibly back up his words? There wasn't anything noble about him, atleast not that he could remeber. Being here with Verline had started to change him or maybe this was as the mirror said, his true self. There was no way, but he was filling the role. His own doubt was slowing creeping it's way into his mind. With a hard shake of his head he threw his doubts fromhis mind. This was no time to reflect it was time to start a grand adventure with a new friend. It was possible he wasn't as hopeless as he thought. The only way to find out would be to stay with this dragon and see what type of person he became as a result.
"Verline, thanks for helping me see who I am, I only hope that I have done the same for you. Whenever your ready we can leave this place." He patted the dragon on her side and sheathed his sword.

"You like me? But I don't understand..."
Verline knew she had to get out of there and quick. She spread her wings and flew out of the cave feeling free. She had no idea of what was going to happen next. This so called knight confused her. Everything in her instincts said that he should hate her. Well it was a good thing he hadn't fallen for the trick that the princess had pulled.
"I am not afriad of the outside world. I am a dragon, why would I be afriad of anything?"
As she flew off, a rumbling came from the cave they were just in. A great explosion of rocks started to pummel them from all sides. Verline ducked, flying away from all of this and just in time. From the cave came a giant black dragon, that was even bigger than the blue dragon form that Verline had taken. Some acid spat from the black dragon's mouth.
"You! You will be sorry you left me behind knight. I don't know how you could see behind my disguise, and why oh why you decided to go with such a pathetic dragon. But you will pay!"
Verline's eyes widened as she saw the other dragon. So the princess was really a dragon all this time? How were they supposed to fight that thing? She really didn't want to, but the thing was moving closer to them. It seemed to be not only bigger than her, but faster as well.
"You don't happen to have any powers do you? I don't see you fighting that thing with just a sword."
You would feel as if you were infused with a power of your choice.

"Verline, I 'm sorry but you may have to do some fighting this go round and yeah, I like you. Haven't had this much fun in some time. I see how you could get into this, it feels so real. This game is really exciting isn't it? Your going to have to show me more once we defeat this princess...he paused and replayed Verline's words, "You do remeber that we're ina game don't you?"
