I think it would be nice to have a certain place, kind of like the directory - but in case people have personal websites they'd rather list there, we can have a dA list. In fact, maybe I'll start this list on this post. So, anyone who wants to be on the list just post the URL to your profile, or your username and I'll add it to the list!

I tend not to link to my DA page simply due to maybe the fact I don't post as much as people would like me to?
I also have more than one way to be reached on the site as either izooi (a more professional portfolio) and arien-seriene...

I +watched your accounts! I am Brokenhallelujahs, and don't worry... I won't spam you. I am interested in buying a tablet though... I won't interrogate you, I promise! I'm just wondering what tablet you do use. Wacom seems to be a favorite of quite a few people.
Also, did you want to be added to the DA user list? I certainly don't want to add to your spam problems >.<

What do I use? Tablet wise it's the Wacom Intuos Bamboo. They're chosen because of the ability to plug and play, not to mention adapt to many different platforms. It's just the base $45 or I think $50 model. I'd like to buy a larger more sensitive tablet when I get the money.
I had one of the toshiba tablet PC's (don't buy one.. they break within the first year) years ago before I bought a wacom. Before that I did a lot of stuff with a mouse, which leads to carpal tunnel and crankiness.
I use a lot more than just a tablet though, but a small inexpensive tablet is a good start to a wider introduction to digital art.
Go ahead and add either account, it doesn't matter.

Wow... I'm impressed that you could do stuff by mouse! I gave it a whirl and nearly ate my screen in frustration! It's great to hear that the Intuos Bamboo works well - it's hard to justify buying a more expensive tablet unless you know that the results are going to be worth it!
Everything I've done art-wise, has been sin-computer. So, I'm a little nervous to try and shift from pen/paper/pencil/paint to Photoshop. But it seems like it makes corrections and preservation SO much easier!

The transition wasn't hard for me, then again I guess you could say that I have a traditional background in art. I just saw the computer as a extension of that.
Mouse was just soley goofing about waiting for people to post to RP's on a old old server that no one knows about. Not to mention it was kinda my only resource.
