Just wondering if there are any current active master/slave RPs going on and whether or not I should make my own, since I had an idea for one...

Nope, none at all, slave and master RP"s arent all that popular, but you could make one and people join sometimes.

Thanks people Just made one that's part combat to do with Roman God-style things, and then part slave/master, hopefully that will be popular.

Hm... Yeah I dont think thats very kool either. I mean I understand they are probably thinking that its demoraling to whatever race/gender is playing the slave, or something, but honestly when people roleplay its for enjoyment purposes and no type of roleplay should be banned so long as it is labeled and, if you really need to go that far, perhaps put a disclamer on it saying whats its NOT. (Ex: This roleplay is, by no means, demoralizing *insert whatever* here)

They are not allowed because they are sexually based. No matter what the title/rules say in these RP's they will be viewed as such, simply because it has to do with some kind of fetish or the likes. Keep in mind this site is PG13. Respect the rules of the site for what they are.

But not all Slave and Master Rp's are sexually orientated. Most are just for the fun of doing a S&M Rp also just to advertise one that needs RPers: S&M RP

Of course I didn't want anything sexually based, just wanted a new character idea, but I respect the reasoning for that rule.

In my opinion, that rule is showing that some people are being very small minded. You're saying there cannot be anything slave based? We learn about slavery in school when we are in low grades, certainly before we are thirteen years old. I don't understand why if it is not a romantic, sexually based roleplay you could not have it.

NO excliped content Eg. talking about nudity or excessive swearing
NO human racial profiling Eg. Americans being slaves over blacks

ALL posts must be labelled M&S and MUST be located in a speciality folder from the mail root

all those who wish to participate in the M&S RP's must agree to a terms and conditions page before they are allowed to enter, the page will describe what the folder may contain and that RP Gateway is not responsible for any content in the section

I give support to M&S RP's, Good point Kaolin, I do believe you should brush up on your English a tiny bit but otherwise a great Idea. I do believe that there should be small romances within the S&M Rp so that it makes it attractive and such.

This, unfortunately cannot be allowed; because too many people take it as 'that' sort of role play. With this being said I am locking and closing this topic.

Slave and Master role plays are not going to be allowed, nor should they be... At least under any such basic title.

Remember, role plays should be story driven. Not about 'slaves' and their 'masters'.
