Sheridan walked past high buildings, one of the human world. He was observing, studying, writing the information down in a invisible space in his mind.
He walked by the humans, acting as if he were part of their world. His gleaming blue eyes searching, searching for some mystery that could deepen his knowledge. They looked at him in wonder. Sheridan lowered his gaze, he was wearing a pair of dark glasses, as dark as he could find. Still, it seemed there was some trace of the glowing through them, Sheridan had that bad feeling there was. He kept his view to the ground, until he neared an alleyway. Something inside caught his attention.
Two people, one maybe a spirit he may have encountered, were inside. Cautious, yet curious, Sheridan entered.
He allowed himself to speak, breaking away the mystery that seemed to overlap him. "What's going on in here?" He asked warily, pulling his sunglasses from the bridge of his nose. It was safe enough to not attract attention to his eyes, as they so often did.
Standing there, Sheridan kept his distance, not knowing whether to back away or take a step forward.
I would cross a thousand miles for you. I would climb mountains and swim oceans just to be with you. And if you cried, I would be there to make things better. But if I said I love you, would you laugh and turn your back on me? Would you take advantage of my love then break my heart when you were finished? Or would you hold me in your arms and say Ditto?
