Apparitions IC ( )

Ashiiko was laying on the ground, staring at the sky, in the middle of the city, an alley somewhere. He was just waiting, really...it had been awhile and nobody had shown up. Nobody interesting at least. Some hobo had stashed his money over there, stepping through the ghost without noticing, but aside from that nothing special.
It was odd too, how the one day he had nothing better to do there wasn't anyone to mess with.
He was starting to get hungry, really. Maybe he'd have to go "beg" food from someone in physical form again. There were some breeds of dog that looked like puppies even at adult age, particularly useful for looking vulnerable. Then again, he didn't want to leave this spot, nor the opportunity of giving some idiot a nervous breakdown.
As it required less energy, for the moment Ashiiko stayed where he was.

Brashius was spending his day in an office building. The company was on a tight deadline today and he wanted to make sure they did not reach it too easily. He was having fun 'misplacing' pens, causing the computers to freeze up, and rearranging the files in the cabinets. He even hid one of the receptionist's shoes. Boy, that was amusing.

"That should do it," Brashius said to himself, "Lets see where else I can have some fun." He walked through the front door to see what other buildings were in this city. "Maybe a bank, or a restaurant. Hmm." He walked down the middle of the street, trying to make his choice. The cars that drove through him didn't phase him one bit. He made all of the parking meters that he passed run out of time. Why pass up the opportunity? he thought to himself as a way to justify his actions. He continued to walk in silent contemplation.

Sybil walked down the street, getting strange looks but who wouldn't with red eyes and white hair? She sighed, it was normal for them to stare but still. Walking down the street she noticed someone lying in an alley, the only person who would do that would be a ghost. She walked in, "Who are you?"

Ashiiko sat up, glad for even an odd and unexpected relief from boredom. He stood up the rest of the way, pushing on nothingness easily enough, and while moving toward the newcomer announced, "Ashiiko is my name, miss." Once he was within range he put out a hand and attempted to grab hers, only to find that it went straight through. He attempted once or twice more before giving her a sideways glance. "Hmm, and you?"

"Sybil, I'm going to assume your a ghost since you haven't been robbed yet, am I right?" She said reaching out and shaking his hand, just because he couldn't touch her didn't mean she couldn't.

He looked in a bit of surprise at the act of touch and the fact that it apparently worked only when she wanted it to. "Right. I'm assuming you're a human since there's no ghost I go right through the first time. You must be one of them, ah..." he cast about for the word rather obviously, literally careening his head, his eyes in random directions, before looking back at his addressee as the shaken vocabulary resettled, the proper word on top, "Seers, eh?"

"What was your first clue? Let me guess, the hair, it tips everyone off," she smiled. "What are you exactly, what type of spirit are you I should ask."

Nyx had a wide grin spread accross his face, looking down at the street far below. Well, technically, it wasn't his face, but none-the-less, the grin was there. He could hear the pleading of the human in the back of his head, begging, for him to not do this, to let them go, give them control of their body again. This made it all the sweeter for Nyx, as he watched the cars, far below drive down the busy street. There was really no fun in this, unless he knew he broke his victim, and this one broke long ago.

"You want to have control again?" Nyx said outloud, using his victims mouth, and voice.

Yes! Nyx could hear his victim pleading.

"Ok." Nyx said, taking a step forward, off the edge of the building. As he began to fall, Nyx left his victim, allowing him to falling screaming to the street below.

Brashius was pulled out of his contemplations quite suddenly by a sickening thud. He looked quickly to see what the noise was and a gruesome sight met his eye. Someone had jumped. As his stomach was lurching, Brashius looked up to where the person would have jumped from, and saw a figure standing there. This may not have been an accident, he thought to himself. Being bad was one thing, but this was evil. He decided to go up and investigate, and if he found out it was no accident, perhaps the criminal could use a good ‘haunting.’ Brashius entered the building and went to the stairway, because he figured that would be the most likely escape rout. He would try to get to the bottom of this qquickly.

"Actually the hair threw me off, most humans don't have white hair so I initially thought you were another ghost," he said. His words flowed out as quickly as possible, the pause just barely enough to distinguish one word from the next. "Now that I think of it you must have albinism, that human thing that takes all the color out of the hair so it looks white." While he spoke he was gently walking backwards a few steps, enough to be unintrusive without leaving the audible range. "I can imitate dogs," he continued, answering her question, "just about any breed you could name. Wild ones are easier for me than domestic, though, obscure mixes the toughest."

"Damn. I was hoping to hit a car. Better luck next time I guess." Nyx shrugs and turns away from the side of the building, hands in his pockets. Hmm.. What to do now.. Nyx thinks to himself as he begins to decend the building, using the stairs. Maybe, i'll visit a few of my 'friends' in the mental hospital.. Let them know that they can't hide from me..

Sheridan walked past high buildings, one of the human world. He was observing, studying, writing the information down in a invisible space in his mind.
He walked by the humans, acting as if he were part of their world. His gleaming blue eyes searching, searching for some mystery that could deepen his knowledge. They looked at him in wonder. Sheridan lowered his gaze, he was wearing a pair of dark glasses, as dark as he could find. Still, it seemed there was some trace of the glowing through them, Sheridan had that bad feeling there was. He kept his view to the ground, until he neared an alleyway. Something inside caught his attention.
Two people, one maybe a spirit he may have encountered, were inside. Cautious, yet curious, Sheridan entered.
He allowed himself to speak, breaking away the mystery that seemed to overlap him. "What's going on in here?" He asked warily, pulling his sunglasses from the bridge of his nose. It was safe enough to not attract attention to his eyes, as they so often did.
Standing there, Sheridan kept his distance, not knowing whether to back away or take a step forward.
I would cross a thousand miles for you. I would climb mountains and swim oceans just to be with you. And if you cried, I would be there to make things better. But if I said I love you, would you laugh and turn your back on me? Would you take advantage of my love then break my heart when you were finished? Or would you hold me in your arms and say Ditto?

I walked down the streetand ended up seeing someone come crashing to the ground. I backed up at the sickening scene and ran the other direction. I turned into an ally way and sat down. I was trying to get the image from my head. After awile I still didn't move, my attention had been caught by two people at the other end.

Brashius ascended the stairs as quickly as possible, keeping an eye out for anyone walking down them. He spotted someone who resembled the figure he had seen from the ground, so he decided to wait. He stood in the center of a landing between the levels of the building. He would follow whoever it was once they walked through him, and then try and figure out if they really killed the person who fell. Being invisible to the humans definitely had its advantages.

Nyx decended the stairs leisurely, not in any kind of hurry. His 'friends' wouldn't be going anywhere. He didn't even think twice when he saw an old man standing in the stairway infront of him, and just continued on. However, instead of passing through him, as expected, he bumped into him..

Brashius was shocked. This stranger was not a human. He shook his head in order to clear it. When he finally was thinking straight he asked the stranger, “You didn’t kill that guy who fell off of the roof, did you?” Brashius watched him cautiously as he waited for his reply.
