Assassin's Creed 2 ( )

Postby True Grave on Wed Sep 17, 2008 3:27 pm

Altair impatiently drummed his fingers upon his desk. He had sent out a Informer to tell him when the Initiates had arrived, and he had not yet gotten an update. He had just returned yesterday from a three week training course in Egypt, at the main headquarters of the Assassin Order. Hassan the Younger, the head of the entire Assassin Order, had overseen training for Altair's new rank and responsibility. Everyone knew of Al Mualim's betrayal, and it seemed only right that the star pupil of the Syrian sect should be the new leader. Altair had been granted the black robe and boots, as well as an even larger belt, for which to hold his equipment. He was allowed to keep all of his weapons, and wore them still. Upon returning, he had elected to get more members, and several Initiates had joined up. Now, he waited.

A few minutes later, the Informer arrived. "Master," he said as he bowed to him. Altair lifted his hand and gave an uplifting motion. "Rise." The Informer did so. "I have gathered the information you seek." "Then share your knowledge with me," Altair replied as he leaned forward, putting his hands together as if in contemplation. "The three Initiates have arrived at the Initiation site. Everyone is waiting for your appearance." Altair nodded, stood up, and walked around his desk to stand before him. "You may return to your regular duties. Safety and peace, brother." "Upon you as well, Master," the Informant said as he left the oom. Altair strode from the assassin compound and headed to a large house, where the ceremony would be conducted. He saw armed guards stationed there, and they moved to the side as he entered.

Satyl jumped from foot to foot impatiently as she waited for Altair to arrive (If she doesn't know Altair's name, just insert whatever descriptive name she would know). She was always quick to grow impatient, which probably wasn't the best thing if you wanted to be an assassin. She made a quick note to herself that that bit of information was something her master didn't need to know. She stared at the door and silently begged it to open before she did something stupid to get herself sent away before even becomming an apprentice.

OOC: It's OK for people to know Altair's name. He is famous in Masyaf, after all.

Altair entered the room and several guards and others bowed. He commanded them to rise and stood in the raised space set aside for him. He looked down upon the lone female standing there. "Where are the others? I was informed that there was more than one Initiate." He began to look around to see if he had merely missed them.

Altair turned to him, keeping a serious yet pleasant expression on his face. "Very well, Haron. Please move into the area alongside that woman." He pointed to the other Initiate. "This way I can see and speak to all of you directly." He sensed that there was another Initiate in the room. He activated his Eagle Vision, a special sight that allowed him to see more than was visible to the naked eye. He spotted a woman in the back who shined with an Initiate's color. "You, the woman back there. Come into the light so that I may welcome you into this most glorious of occassions."

Saaya quietly stepped forward. She scanned the view. Altair armed with all his weapons, she walked next to where the short women was standing. Being an assassin's wasn't easy, she knew that, But she knew she could please the Master. She would never let him down. She managed a light smile, feeling naked without having a weapon to protect her with. Soon this would be over and hopefully all three of them would be working under the name of the famous Altair himself.

When the woman took her place, Altair stood with his hands behind his back, looking very grand and dignified. 'All of you have come here seeking admission into our most illustrious society. You seek wisdom, glory, and the pleasure of the kill. But before I can let you in, I must know who you are." He pointed to Haron. "Since I know your name, tell me the exact reason you seek to join the Assassin Order." He fixed Haron with a wise gaze, permitting him to speak, yet letting him know his words would be processed and weighed carefully.

Saaya shifted her gaze on the guy. She grew impatient as she stood here waiting for him to answer Altair. She knew exactly why she was here and couldn't wait her turn. While Altair had spoken the words "pleasure of the kill", thrills when down her back.

Altair pointes at haron . than haron said to Altair," i came her to murder those who murderd , i cam her for i have tasted the taste of the freash kill in the crusades " , those words hinted at haroons mysterious past , at the age of 17 he killed 6 known crusader knights who wrecked havock at his village during the crusades , harons master of many languages might serve the group very will , he completed his words," and i have talents and i think thy are without worth if i do not usr them with this group " .

Satyl fidgited with her cloak. She had never liked interviews, and the waiting was making her even more nervous. "The lack of a weapon could also have something to do with it," she thought to herself. The others there already seemed really strong, and she was worried that she wasn't cut out for the job.

Saaya switched her gaze to Altair. She had heard the importance of his words in his voice. Surely Altair could detect it to. But wouldn't killing people who kill, make us; Assassin's a killer. No An Assassin must never think like that. We do this to protect the people, and our Holy Land. Saaya swallowed a sigh, as she waited for Altair to call on her.

Altair nodded. He kept his face neutral, merely showing that he was considering his words. He knew that Haron would have to be taught to choose his kills. One could not murder indiscriminately in the Brotherhood. He would get to that though. Turning to Satyl, the first woman, he pointed to her. "Please state your name and the exact reason you wish to join the Assassin Order." He fixed her with the wise gaze.

"I want to protect the innocent people from harm," she quickly replied. She wanted to say more, but was much too nervous to get out anything besides that. Also, she didn't think Altair would like her real reason for becoming an assassin. Revenge...

Altair nodded. He sensed the strange feeling in her. Her answer was half the truth. She was deceiving him, however, hiding the other half. He would speak to her about this when she was an Apprentice, if she chose to go that far. "I now understand your reason. But you have failed to give me a name to attribute to you. Shall I simply call you 'the defender of the people'?" He asked, meaning it as a joke but keeping the humor from his voice.

Saaya quickly thought over her reasons. She was next and she feel the nervousness creeping up on her. She wanted so badly to join the Brotherhood and sever under Altair himself, and maybe, just maybe kill side by side with him someday.

"Was that supposed to be a joke?" Satyl thought to herself. "I bet he knows I'm not telling the truth. You can't get that famous without being able to see through a simple lie... I'll just have to deal with that later..." She grimaced, and then quickly readjusted her facial features, hoping no one noticed.

Altair stood there, growing impatient. "Well, have you forgotten your own name? Or are you simply dense?" He said, a stern tone now apparent in his voice. His eyes were hard, and he stared her down, hoping she might remember her name. However, he realized the folly of scaring her and gave her a calm expression, though he still expected her name.

she wanted to poke the girl beside her. Altair had clearly asked her, her name. Still she seem oblivious to that fact.Get on with it. I'm still waiting my turn Saaya grew more impatient by the minute. Saaya, She thought her name to herself. She always wondered who had named her, these simple question's didn't bother her, when her mind was busy. But right now all she could think about was her undead parents. How cruel to leave a child to fed for herself. To master the art of kill, just to protect herself. She remembered vividly and elder had once told her, her name meant "Shadow" in the Indian language.
