Assassin Society ( )

Postby Patcharoo on Wed Aug 17, 2011 4:47 am

The Assassin Society has decided to expand aggressively into Terran lands, starting with Wing City! This new sector holds much promise in the ways of employment and murder opportunities. Run by the newly appointed and self named Assassin (aka Sassin), the Assassin Society hopes to bring a bloodier future today. Sign up for one of their business plans and see what you can get out of your own personal legion of merciless killers. And the best part is, only local assassins are hired, so you know you're getting the best and helping the economy.

Try them out, today!

If you work for us...
Assassin Rules
1. No killing other assassins on the Assassin Society's payroll. It's bad business. If you're hired to do so, pass on this information to your superior. They'll know what to do.
2. Maintain a five rule policy of personal integrity. It ensures a greater work ethic for the future.
3. Dead is dead. If they come back its not your responsibility.
4. Likewise a job is a job. If we do it, we get paid, or we take our payment by force.
5. [Rule removed. Consult sector leader for more information.]

If you want to hire an assassin...
Contract Rules
1. Dead. Is. Dead. Not our problem if they come back.
2. You pay when the job is done.
3. No need to pay with cash. We have multiple payment methods.
4. You can order a specific assassin if you want.
5. We can be pre-emptively be bought off, but once the hit is made, the hit is made. The recommendation is to have a bank account with money in it, and that money will be drained whenever a hit for you is ordered.

If you have a contract on your head...
Hit Rules
1. No counter offers, demanding to know who made the hit and so on. This is rule one. This is ultimate.
2. Think for a god damn minute about who you have pissed off lately and who might want you dead. We don't take hits for shits and giggles.
3. Think about why you might have a hit on your head. Have you done anything stupid, annoying or arrogant lately?
4. What are your values on life? Would you kill someone attacking you, but not expect them to do the same back if the situation was reversed?
5. The Humble Clause. If you can figure out what you did wrong and prove some level of innocence from that action/behaviour, then you can be spared. Well, depends on the mercy of the assassin. And their bribe level.

To recruit new members...
Recruitment Policy
First Encounter: Offer the person a job. Inform them of our 'join or die' policy, but do not threaten them. Give them the option of avoiding recruitment entirely by victory through a fair fight (hey, if they can beat our assassins, either our assassins aren't good enough or we don't want the trouble)
Second Encoutner: Openly threaten them. Restate the join or die policy. Give them one last chance of avoiding recruitment by victory through a fair fight.
Third Encounter: Join or die.

Honesty and transparency were valued, new people were incorporated into the community rather than judged based on what style of writing they preferred, and despite the youthfulness and zeal of the population there prevailed a reasonable degree of common sense.

Assassin Society Main Building and Levels

Levels
Each level of the Main Building requires genetic verification before the individual can continue.

Level 1
One item of genetic verification. Allows access to computers which contain a database of hits. Allows for reporting of successful hits.

Level 2
Voluntary promotion. Chipped/Induction.

Level 3
Promotion. Two items of genetic verification. Allows access to the armoury.

Level 4
Voluntary promotion. Understand the Society's purpose.

Level 5
Promotion. Three items of genetic verification. Allows recruiting and submitting of hits.

Level 6
Voluntary promotion. Meet the man in charge.

Level 7
Promotion. Four items of genetic verification. Allowed to represent the Assassin Society on deals of business.

Level 8
Voluntary promotion. Prove your loyalty.

Level 9
Promotion. Allowed to access the security of the Society.

Main Structure
The Assassin Society main building is guarded by a full size Anti-Magic Field starting at the front door and first identity verification check point. The first room is full of computers that allow assassins to access the database of available hits. From there, upstairs or downstairs can be accessed. Downstairs is the armoury and upstairs is the higher up databases of staff registered. The next floor is the next database, allowing access to the current trade partners and deals. The fifth floor has controls of the security. The top floor is a portal 'home'. All databases are frequently backed up and then delivered to the home planet via top floor portal.

The network is closed, with no wires or access points available to the public. There is no wireless. The structure is guarded by an AI and automated turrets, controlled by said AI. In the event of an EMP, there is a sixty second wait before the entire building will self destruct, due to a circuit ending and activating one of the bombs. There is several of these explosives on each floor, to ensure that a local EMP will result in similar localised destruction of the building. If the building is destroyed the database will be restored away from the structure, to ensure all staff are still on file.

RolePlayGateway is a site built by a couple roleplayers who wanted to give a little something back to the roleplay community. The site has no intention of earning any profit, and is paid for out of their own pockets.

If you appreciate what they do, feel free to donate your spare change to help feed them on the weekends. After selecting the amount you want to donate from the menu, you can continue by clicking on PayPal logo.
