Hey all, I've been thinking about starting an RP about Atlantis, the sunken city. Was thinking about making this a search for Atlantis...like a group of people are formed to uncover the whereabouts of the once great city.

The Atlantians are still alive and living in the city that is hidden so there can be alot of exciting interactions. My ideas are still pretty sketchy but I definitely want to start this off. There could be a few groups of people, the explorers, the Atlantians and the Treasure Hunters. The Treasure Hunters could be the bad guys- intent on stealing the great treasures that have been rumoured to be in Atlantis.

This is also an interest check. So, if you are interested or have any good ideas, please post here.

The Atlantians are people who possess certain abilities like speed, strength and the ability to cure. Since their city sunk centuries ago, they are stuck in that time age. Meaning, they are probably garbed in tribal like attires. Their city is built of stone, surrounded by trees and water...

So they are still basically human then?

yup they are human just with enhanced abilities...

1) Royalty: King, Queen, Princess(taken), Prince(taken)
2) Warrior
3) Commoner

Explorer roles:
1) Captain of the journey
2) Researcher
3) Mechanic
4) Explosive specialist
5) Defence team

Treasure Hunters:
(These money minded people have joined the expedition team as a way to get to Atlantis)

If you have any other role that is not listed above, I will allow it as long as it is logical.

I've always been interested in atlantis. I just need to know, what do the Atlantians look like? I'm planning on making an Atlantian character for this.

Basically, all of them have silver hair and eyes although some have crystal blue eyes. And as I mentioned, they wear tribal outfits but not the whole skeleton and feather in the hair. They just wear lighter and lesser materials on themselves for easy movement.

As for age, if an Atlantian is 126 years old, they only look like a 26 year old.

Is there anything else you'd like to know? I'm still working out the details so if you've got any ideas on their appearance, I'm all ears

great! oh yes, there is one more thing, each Atlantian has a spiritual beast attached to it. It can be an eagle, a fox, a lion, a wolf....

Appearance (pics are allowed):Short, silver, spikey hair with crystal blue eyes. She has rather pale skin and she wears a silver tight dress thing that completely reveals her left leg and silver shorts underneath it. She usually doesn't wear any shoes. She also always carries a spear on her back.

Brief History:Kiara's parents where both warriors. They had her trained since she was old enough to walk in order to be one. They have never showed her any affection so her personality comes off as rather cold. She never had any time for friends either so she isn't really good with interacting. She rarely smiles and only speeks when spoken to. Her spiritual animal is a large white wolf that she is rather attached to. Because of it being a wolf Kiara is usually reffered to as the lone wolf.

Brief History: Alissa is very devoted to her studeis of ancient cities just as her brother was. He taught her everything she knew and built her interest in Atlantis. At the age of 19, she had all ready followed her brother, Mark, on several of his expeditions. When she was 21, he died of dengue fever which he had caught on one of his trips.
Alissa writes books on her travels and publishes them and a chance to journey to Atlantis is a dream that she wishes to fufill.

Brief History: Azura is Prince of the Atlantians. His role in the Kingdom as of yet is a very small one, his mother and father in power, in most cases he only stands around, usually given what he wants. Hs life is very minimal, and tehcnology is not really used or known. Azura spends his time exploring, and meeting new people. He wishes to one day travel outside these walls, and run away from his one day destiny to rule the Kingdom. Usually he is devious, and very witty and smart.

Brief History: Jin was always a pessimistic smart mouth of a girl and that got her into a few scuffles when she was younger. Jin loved to work on old cars and engines and planes with her father and when she got older he even tought her how to pilot an aircraft. Jin was fasinated by the mission to Atlantis but she also opted to go for other reasons.
