Thank you for reading this utterly random rant....feel free to comment.
BSX wrote:I told a friend the problem with girls is that they was a whole list of things out of a guy and if he's missing one or 2 they don't want anything to do with him. Which is sad because sure he may not have a hot bod, but that isn't fair to hold it against him and not know the guy.
Yasashii wrote:I feel obligated to apologize for my gender. I'm sorry that most are that way but there are some that don't all think like that. I mean sure, I put a little list up here somewhere but I don't honestly expect to find a guy that will match exactly that. I really wish girls were more open-minded when it comes to boys! It's girls like that, that enforce this stereotype to you guys.
BSX wrote:LOL no need to say...er type? your apology....oops well you already did so thanks. Anyway I know there are some must have's on everyone's list, and even a exception for a guy or who ever you're interested in. the majority of girls I have come across what everything on their list with a check mark by it. I'm all about you being you and won't look down or negatively criticize your lifestyle or choices because A) people did that to me and I don't want anyone to feel that way B) If asked I will offer my opinion in a honest, but non-mean way, C) I grew up with the notion to get to know a person before you judge them, and D) I’ve made some pretty bad choices in my life. I find things rather funny that college was said to be SOOOOOOOO different from high school and people would jump on board to step outside their box and try new things yet they fall right back into their old habits. Not saying I've gotten rid of all my old habits, but I have improved in the area of meeting new people and even made myself out to look like a creep-o, on accident, once which made for a very funny story in philosophy class. Errr I'll stop here I think I'm boring y'all about my life. <<
Yasashii wrote: Welcome ^^ And you're not boring.
Well yeah, nessescary checks usually end up resulting from deeply rooted convictions and/or morals, in my case anyway.
I must agree with your A, B, C & D. As for college, I'm finding that most go right back to the way the were before especially the preppy girls, who turn from being prep to going greek, it seems *rolls eyes*. Though I'm happy to say I've got my handful of people that genuiely want to be different than highschool days and I must say, it's a great feeling ^^ I think some just slip back into old ways out of discomfort; deep down, they lost their identity when they lost their friends and they're too scared to be different than the way they were in highschool.
lol, I actually just intentionally offended someone in psy today, sucks. I think he knows I was just joking though XD
BSX wrote:That's good that some people want to change from high school and that you found them. Oh psychology <3! LOL I was very different from in high school, but was low key about it then. My mom said that most of time you'll lose your friends in high school because of the direction they take in their lives and the direction you take in yours, but if you're really friends you'll find a way to keep in contact. She said she made her best friends in college and after she graduated. I'm more open, out-going-ish and just accepted that I'm different and most people aren't going to be cool with it, but those that are will get find I am a very....unique, nice, caring person. LOL one person called me a Emo Diva because I listen to Madonna and Bullet For My Valentine, which I thought was SO funny and replied that I have a glitter razor collection back in my dorm room. That was the running joke all day. I don't intentionally hate college it's just so hardcore about GPA and grades, and need to be more proactive, but I am thankful for the people I've met and that helped me out my 1st year. The reason why I even came back had nothing to do with college, but that being here, in Lexington, is the best thing in my life right now because if I leave and return home the outcome may not be pretty.

lol yeah I was actually scared to death of what to expect in psy but it's going alot better than I thought ^^
Me too actually. I was the bookworm, nerd girl with the glasses that barely said anything. I'm still kinda like that now but talking to other people is getting alot easier than it used to be. True, I don't really keep in good contact with people I knew just a couple years ago. In fact, I'm in better contact with a girl I used to know in 5th grade than people I knew in highschool! I always hear that you make your best friends in college and I hope that's true, I am so tired of fake people >D Emo Diva, lol. Yeah, I listen to Madonna and Bullet for my Valentine too; just try to tell me Hand of Blood is not awesome! Glitter razors, lol, too perfect. Well yeah but it's a little easier if the school's not huge, I think. Mine is a university but it's not massive. hm well if it's bad then maybe it's better that you stay away from home, at least for the time being. I couldn't imagine wanting to go back to a potentially bad situation.
BSX wrote:That's good the class isn't boring or too difficult. I loved psychology, my teacher related things to now like calling a group of psychologist the Paris Hilton's of their time and asked when Saw 47 or whatever number they were on was coming out. My friends that I made this semester said that I'm all work and no play, which is true, but I do hang out with them after my homework and such is done. Or will bring my assignments over to their house and finish them there. Wow 5th grade! I think there should be a naptime/cookies and milk class in college, bet that would fill up quick! Oh I drop the fake people like a hot stone, and keep on moving. HAND OF BLOOD IS AWESOME!!! I really need to get the EP next time I see it. UK is pretty big, but I do see the certain people all the time and even have class with one of my friends in philosophy. Yeah my mom did come and visit me over this past weekend which was nice, lol of course we had to eat Rafferty's because that what I, Emo Diva, wanted.
Yasashii wrote: Well it was a little difficult at first but that's my own fault for paying more attention to boys than the class at first, lol. My teacher's got a decent sense of hurmor as well which seems sooo nessescary for psy, lol. Well nothing wrong with a little play now and then! lol I don't really see much of my friends outside of campus though since I'm a commuter. lol, I totally agree though I do have a class that pretty much passes for that. I get so far ahead so quickly that I munch on whatever I brought while I hit up this site or my myspace. I never even pick up the fakers, they annoy me way too much for that XD I acutally first heard it when my sister was playing NFS and I was like, holy crap that's awesome! I end up seeing alot of the same people around campus since we all run in our circles from schedules etc. Well that's good ^^ lol, I can never decide where to eat so I usually just go with whatever. I'm fond of mcd's fries, acutally lol. Are you honestly emo or just in the standing joke?
BSX wrote:I was thinking about this the other day, but I would have to say I'm not emo, but have emo-tendencies. The diva part is true, but I'm a kind diva not a meanie b*tch diva like well just about any hollywood celebrity. LOL my friends don't go to college right now, one dropped out way before I met her, but I think that me being in college is motivating her to go back. I want to be in naptime/cookies and milk class! For now I'll continue to eat McD's and such but when the time comes I plan on switching to a flexitarian diet.
