Avast ye swabs! Today be the day which ye need be talkin' like a pirate! Tell yer fellow scallywags what today be fer and get yer booty together! Toss down a bit o rum and heave ho! 'N if they don't wanna be talkin' like a pirate, MAKE'EM WALK THE PLANK! Let'em know every year Sept 19th is INTERNATIONAL TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY.

Yarg! It be a day to be carved into ye memory!
I have a four year old daughter who has been excited for this day all week! She's got the pirate gear on and has been yelling "YAR!" in daycare all day! I'm a member of a local pirate group and tomorrow we're taking over the city of Everett, WA in a little festival called Pirate Daze. I'm excited to dress up, leave the children behind, and talk like a pirate! My pirate name? I'm still working on it...heh heh...but my daughter's is Violet Rage, and my son's is Baby Rage (he's four months old, so yeah...). Yarg! I'm off to swash my buckles!
