Enyo was knocked out for a brief minute before she regained conscious. She was slid back against a wall covered in the same crimson liquid that was splattered all over the walls. “What..?” She groaned, rubbing the back of her head slightly in pain. A bump was forming where she had so ungracefully been flung back against the wall. Her eyes widened as she remembered what had flung her against the wall. The green eyed girl looked around frantically, eyes becoming larger with horror and shock. She had done it again, she had lost control. Thankfully, no corpses were lying on the floor, but then speculation ran through her head. What if she had made the blood explode, like she did with her first victims? What if there were no large enough pieces to be found of the body? There sure was enough blood for one person, maybe two. Enyo quickly scanned the room and found Ben stumbling up while Aaron held an unknown man at gunpoint. There was a click in the door beside her as the newcomer she was supposed to be looking after came lumbering out of the room.
Enyo made an attempt to rise from her slumped position from the floor, but a sharp pain from the arm she was trying to push off of and the leg she was trying to push off of made her stumble back onto her butt. Her head turned impatiently to her left to see what had hindered her movement and the poor girl almost fainted again. There was a clotted spike stuck in her upper left arm, the tip was already beginning to crumble. Deep breath, deep breath. The girl thought to herself and looked down at her leg to see a similar object protruding from her thigh. Her breathing quickened for a second before she forced it to even out once more. “Ok, ok, it’s ok,” she muttered to herself. Enyo closed her eyes and concentrated, blood into blood. Nothing was unfamiliar, it was the substance that flowed through her veins, it was the very thing that kept her alive, kept people alive, it should not be used as a weapon, it should be embraced and loved. The spikes that she created would become part of her body, replacing the substance that she had lost due to them.
Quickly now, Enyo willed, she could already feel the heaviness and weakness she felt when her anemia kicked in. The girl’s face was pale and clammy, her breath was coming out in very controlled intervals and eyes closed in what must have seemed as shock, but in reality was deep concentration. The spikes slowly liquefied back into its original form, but instead of dripping down, it seemed to be sucked up into her arm and leg. The last bit oozed down her arm to intermix with the already dripped blood. There was still a small stream flowing out of the girl’s wounds, but it was definitely smaller than it was before. Instead of newly formed skin as most regenerators could do, there was, instead a large scab that would promote natural healing the slow way.
Enyo’s eyes slowly opened, the girl didn’t even bother looking at her work. She already knew what she had done with her body, it was a basic skill to know for her ability and she already knew the ending result. She looked around again, this time Aaron was staring at her intently. The girl quickly looked away, ashamed of what he saw and what he now knew about her curse. That was when she realized that a body was missing. “Where’s the little girl?” Enyo asked suddenly, her face swirled back to meet Aaron’s. The girl’s eyes were wide and fearful, tears were swimming in its depths at the thought of what she had done, of what she might have done.

The Director sighed as Ami went on a sudden rampage and destroyed pottery and figurines. Most of those glass and porcelain pieces were highly expensive and rare, but no matter, objects were replaceable and not the top priority at the moment. He got up from his crouching position to follow the demon child down the hallway. The man brought his wrist up to lick his small cut clean from the trickling blood. “Troublesome,” he muttered, shaking his head slightly.
“Ami, I will find your sister for you if you come here and tell me about her,” The Director called after her in an attempt to reason. Maybe it was what Aura said, maybe the little girl really was just troubled and maybe, if her sister did happen to exist, it would make her much, much easier to control. Well, that’s assuming that the demon’s sister was not also a devil herself. No matter, if the other one is able to stable out this one, even if she is crazy, the it would be a great asset.
Aura. The Director mentally called to his partner for support. See if you can walk through her dreams.
But how? Is she still awake? The female partner responded.
Just try. It wouldn’t hurt. She needs a “sister”, who is female, unlike me.
Ami, The feminine voice carefully prodded the girl’s mind. Listen to the nice man, he will help you. He won’t harm you, I promise. The woman gently repeated in the little girl’s mind. Aura normally couldn’t dream-walk through someone’s mind while they were awake, yet it was possible with the warped girl since her sense of reality was so skewed. The Dreamseer normally saw what the dreamer is dreaming at that particular time, but in this case, she could see a red haze that covered the entirety of her mind. No doubt, if Aura were to walk in when Ami was actually asleep, it would be a lot different. Aura felt a chill run up her spine. The woman didn’t even want to think about what she would See in someone as troubled as that child.
A shape slowly emerged from the mist and formed itself to become a human girl. Aura had never seen Ami in the physical since the Seer was blind, but from the descriptions the Director gave to her, the girl that had taken shape looked a lot like Ami. Did the little girl dream about herself? That couldn’t be, she had no real concept of self in the first place, how was it possible that there was another figure here. “Sister”, that’s what her dear partner had said to her.
Who is this other girl in Ami’s mind? Aura asked her partner, somewhat hurt that the man did not tell her about his find.
Ah, so she really does have a sister then? The Director stated with much curiosity.
A sister? I never Saw her. Aura responded in what might have sounded a bit skeptical.
I know. But there are many things that can’t been Seen. The Director stated simply, knowing that in truth, Aura was disappointed in her failure to see another one of these beings as they were so close to each other. Even so, she might just be imagining it. A split personality perhaps? He mused, giving a subtle explanation of why he didn’t tell her the fact.
True. The female answered. She understood that the Director didn’t want to tell her something he was still unsure of, but still, giving her a hint to what he was thinking couldn’t have hurt. Anyways, I’ve talked to her…I think. Any changes? The Director turned back outward to look at the little girl’s reaction.

Aria has been wandering around the forest for what she thought was about four days now, not that she really cared. It all looked the same to her, trees, trees, trunks, trees. All the was following was the directions of the spirit. Oddly enough, the deeper that they traversed into the forest, the better she understood the being that accompanied her. Though, what it told her made less and less sense as well. On sometimes, it would tell her that they only had a little ways left, on other days it told her that it was not time yet. Aria suspected that the ghost had taken her the long way around because she was almost positive that they place where she stood right at that particular moment was the same place that she had built her fire two nights ago. See, there on the ground were the charred ashes, and a bit beyond that was a paper bag that she had so casually thrown. No matter, Aria trusted her friend, it had gotten her out of troubles many, many times without fail so why should she stop believing now? Besides, it wasn’t in her nature to hate or feel betrayed. The spirit must have a reason, and until the girl figured out what, she would just have to follow blindly.
The specter told Aria to stop. There was something there. Something that was not right, that was why it had led her back to a familiar location. It did not know whether the stalker was friend or foe. The person could not be trusted to be led to the sacred area. The sacred area, supposedly, was where the haunt was leading Aria to. It had told her this just yesterday, but where or what exactly the place was, Aria had no idea. The spirit had attempted to explain it to her, but it made no sense. No matter, the spirit refused to continue to their spot if an enemy followed them. The being began to move again and Aria quickly followed after. “Where are we going?” the girl asked her haunt, but it remained silent.
Aria walked for a couple of hours, going deeper into the forest again, yet this time though another route that was more remote, if possible, than the previous route that she had taken just the day before. The spirit medium slid forward faster now so that the girl had to up her pace just to keep her guide in sight. And then as abruptly as it sped it, it stopped. “Now, what was that all about?” Aria asked with a mock smile and her hands on her hips. The girl wasn’t mad, just wanted to know a bit about what was going on and where she was going. The ghost remained silent, yet continued staring forward. Aria shifted her gaze to match where her spirit was looking and her eyes promptly widened in astonishment. Before her was a gate into a big stone castle.
“This isn’t the sacred place, is it?” She asked the spirit. The spirit answered a negative and then continued towards the building, easily slipping through the bars of the old gate. “This is a bit like Beauty and the Beast,” Aria giggled before reaching out a hand to push through the gate. The girl was not scared, instead, she was fascinated at her find, well, more like her ghost’s find, but all the same, she could explore some place new and that always excited her.
