"Okay. lets do this!" Cris was prepared and ready. "When do we start?" She was getting really pumped for this, but of course she'd only hurt someone if they attacked her first. She was very likely to threaten, too.

"Some of the citizens here, just like you, dont like life in Port Royal. They will help us, but we have to spread the word. Peter," He called to a nearby crew mate, "Go to the tavern and spread the word. Jack, Andrew, go with him! then report back to me. Got it?" The crew mates nodded, then went to do their jobs.

"We should be ale to pull this off..." Aiden said to nobody in particular.

"Okay, okay, so when do we start and when do we end?" Cris asked the captain. She didn't want seem annoying, but... "And is there anything important I should know before trying to chop the heck out of anyone?" ...she wanted to know more information.

"Just kill the British soldiers. No civilian casualties. And fight your best. If we actually do take Port Royal for Portugal, then the King will pay us each, including you, well...more money than any of us have ever had. Got it?"

"Yeah, I sure do!" Cris smiled. She had just wanted to get away from England, now she was doing that and getting rich. She looked over and saw the men Aiden had sent out, coming back. "Can we go now?" She urged.

"yes, yes. Lemme just check with Peter." He then went over to the small group, which started to eagerly talk.

"Wow, i never would've thought that so many people hated it here!" Jack said.

"A lot of the population is going to help! the British wont know whats hit them!" Peter exclaimed.

"Good, good. Now, we fight! lets show them who will really win this war!" With that, Aiden motioned for the rest of the crew to attack. He rushed out onto the docks and stabbed a soldier, then shoved him into the water. Then he ran over to a patrol and slashed his sword across their chests.

"Go! attack!"

The doors of about two thirds houses opened with armed citizens, who started to attack. Half-drunk sailors rushed out of taverns shooting every redcoat in sight.

Cris grabbed the sleeve of John's shirt and pulled him into the battle. She ran toward a British soldier and was about to slash him when she saw a girl clinging to his shoulder. "Move it girl, unless you want to be injured with him!" Cris growled.
"No, you can't!" The girl screamed, jumping between the man and Cris's dagger. Her eyes widened. "Carissa Shiress?"
Cris's heart sank. "Excuse me?"
The girl jumped out and hugged Cris. "Oh Carissa! I was so worried about you! Where have you been what have you been doing?"
Cris shoved her off. "You have the wrong person miss, now step a side!"
"No I don't!" The girl looked sad. "I'd know you anywhere Carissa! Don't you know me?"
"No!" Cris shouted, but in fact, she did. She knew both the girl and the soldier. The girl was Elizabeth Strum. Her former best friend. The soldier was Oliver Frank, the man she was courting. She looked up to John with pleading eyes.
"Yes you do!" The girl shoved Cris. "Isn't this girl Carissa, Oliver?"
"Carissa, give us a break, your trying to kill me for God's sake!" Oliver spoke up.
Cris turned around. "Lets go kill some other British jerks, John." Cris started walking away.

The crew of The Exile, with the exception of John and the cabin boy, Cris, followed Aiden to the town hall. The mayor himself was a British Officer, and had a squad of 5 around him. They stood outside, guarding the town hall. Then, both sides ran towards each other, and the real fight had started. Aiden managed to kill one of the British guards; Harris killed another, although he got hit in the elbow; Peter ran his sword through one, killing him, but then got killed by one of the others; Jack killed the fourth. Aiden, infuriated that one of his crew was dead, swung his sword and beheaded the last one. The Mayor turned and ran, but Andrew got out his bow, and shot him. Suddenly there was a complete silence. The other fighting seemed distant, and the crew of The Exile stared around them - all they could see were dead bodies. Then they went on, to fight the others.

(I'm leaving on a trip on Friday, so mattering on how long it takes me to get all packed up, this is my last post until Monday.)

"John, lets go back to the ship and wait for the to get back." Cris lead John back to the ship. They played cards for a while, while waiting for the rest of the crew to get back with the news. "BS!" Cris shouted at John. John murmured cussing under his breath as Cris one once another game. "Thank you!" Cris smiled, receiving a biscuit as the winner. She looked up at the man's face, wondering if he would say anything about Elizabeth recognizing her.

Aiden and the rest of the crew came back aboard the ship. Aiden probably had on the biggest smile that he ever had.

"Port Royal is now in control of The Great Country of Portugal!" His voice boomed all across the shipyard. He turned to an honest merchant that was going to be heading back to Portugal.

"Sir, would you be willing to give this letter to the King of Portugal? It is very important," The merchant nodded, and Aiden handed him the parchment.

"Now, we celebrate this victory, whilst grieving the lost of our dead."

"Boohoo..." She muttered for her friends. Well, at least used to be friends.

"Captain, welcome back." She said, trying to keep her jittery-ness hidden. "Was it great out there?" She tried sounding like an admiring boy. "I was going to fight, but John and I came back early. I just couldn't stand killing people from my home land, even if I didn't like them."

"I understand. We didn't lose many sailors which is good, and the King is going to send our money to this island, but that will take a while. In the meantime i believe we should take a look at the the Northern American territory. What do you think?"

Cris didn't say anything for a second, a little surprised the Captain of the ship was asking a cabin boy what her thought. "Uh, well, it honestly sounds fun to me." She smiled, ready for some adventure outside of this general area.

"Good. Mr. Harris! Take the ship North to America."

"Yessir!"

They sailed all the way past the Caribbean without any trouble, but once they got near the Florida coast, they were caught in a furious storm.

"Hold on!" He said to Cris, "This storm looks pretty bad!"

"Damn storms..." Cris muttered. Of course she hadn't been one to speak any foul language, but hanging around all those pirates for so long sort of got to her head. And besides, she never liked storms anyway. "How long do you think it will take for it to pass?

"we could go through it, but it would be a tough journey. Or we could go back and wait for it to pass, which could take all day."

Cris shivered. "Well, it's up to you, Cap'ain." She looked closer into the storm and saw a streak white flash through a cloud. She jumped back and looked away. Creepy. She had never liked lightning even inside her house. Now out at sea? Great. Now she would be the cowardly cabin boy who jumped at every flash.
