This is an rp about a group of people, friends and randoms who live near this beach (everyone calls it C.C) urmm in California. Is probably good if there's a mixture of different people to make it interesting. Anyway anything can happen in this story, I'm gonna make it so summer has just begun.

My character is:

Name: Lolita Smith

Age: Just turned sweet 16 :]

Description: She is half Russian, half English. She has big blue eyes, and dark mahogany hair that is wavy/curly. She has quite a petite nose, and big full lips Scarlett Johansson style. She is not particularly tall, but not short about 5 ft 5, but has a very nicely shaped body, and is very slim. She has quite pale skin, but it looks good on her. She is not technically the prettiest girl out there but she exudes a lot of self-confidence which naturally draws people to her.

About: She was born in St.Petersburg, Russia and lived there until she was 10, when she moved to C.C beach. She lives in a house about 2 miles from the beach with her Russian mother and English father. She hasn't got the best grades, but she loves to read and can usually make people believe she's smart by spouting a bunch of famous quotes. She has a well off family in the sense that she can buy pretty much whatever she wants. She's usually quite friendly, can do two-faced at times, but if you've proved that you're a true friend, so is she.

Lolita had just finished her daily jog on the beach. It was starting to get late and she went to sit on the sand waiting for the sun to set. It had been such a great first day of summer. She had met up with all her friends, who all seemed to be going off to distant countries. They were going to have so much fun, but at least she could look forward to making some new friends. She sighed and turned the volume up on her I-pod.

Name;; Mark Manson
Age;; 16
Description;; Mark is tall and thin. He has dark, wavy hair and dark green eyes. His skin is pale and he has one or two freckles, but not many. Usually, he wears jeans and t-shirts - simple clothing; nothing too extreme. He isn't too toned as he is more into sports that require speed than strength. However, he can surf and is a very good swimmer.
About;; Mark has just moved to California from his home of northern England. He is somewhat excited - much better opportunities to surf and hang out in the son - but also angry about having to leave all of his friends.

The Sun glittered warmly down on the azure water as the weaker waves folded over one another against the golden sand. Out in the water under the glowing sunset, Mark lay on his surfboard and felt the waves breaking underneath him, causing him to bob up and down slightly in the wake of their crest. He felt the heat of the dying Sun on his bare torso, contrasting with the lukewarm sea water that his hands were trailing in. It felt perfect.

But then he remembered that he was supposed to be angry and rebellious about being here. Turning, he paddled towards the shore. It didn't take long before he was stepping out of the water, bare feet sinking into the warm sand. He was wearing a pair of long shorts but nothing else - when surfing, it wasn't usually the best idea to go out in jeans and a jacket or anything. A girl was sitting nearby, listening to an I-Pod, but Mark didn't really feel self-conscious about his topless state. He supposed that, on a veyr hot beach, it must be pretty mandatory.

The sun had just started to set and Lolita took her earphones out. She wanted to savour the moment, the first sunset of summer. The waves were crashing and the seagulls, luckily, were far away so they didn't interrupt her state of bliss.
She then noticed a guy, that looked like he'd just been surfing, considering his topless state, mussed up hair, and surfboard. She looked over wondering if she should say something. Maybe she should considering she needed to make new friends this summer to combat the flight of her friends.
"Hey." she said to the guy.

Name: Devany Adele O’Riley

Age: 16

About: She was born in Dublin, Ireland and lived there till she was 14. She has a very thick Irish accent. She is hyper and random. She can get angered very quickly and she is very sarcastic. She has a great singing voice and can draw extremely well. She lives right on the beach with her father and Irish twin brother. Her mother died when she was born so she never knew her.

Devany was walking out to the beach from her back porch. She saw two other people on the beach so she decided to say hi. She was planing to swim so she had on her guy swim trunks that were white with five big neon blue and orange Hawaiian flowers on the right side and her orange and blue bikini top. She walked up to the two and introduced herself "Hi, I'm Devany" her Irish accent was deffinatly there when she spoke.

Lolita looked up when she heard a voice. The girl looked unfamiliar, but she needed to make some new friends badly.
"Hello, my name is Lolita. Do you live here?" she asked catching the Irish accent.
She was sure there weren't any Irish people living in this area, but then again she could've missed someone.

"Yeah, I live right up there." She said while gesturing to the house behind her. She looked back at the house. Her dad wouldn't be home from work untill 10pm and her brother was spending the night at a friends house.

((Yes, I do live near Newcastle. I'm not from there exactly, but close. I love Newcastle. I'm going to live there when I'm older xD))

Mark nodded to the I-Pod girl, trying to remember to be sullen and moody. But it was hard with the Sun beating down on him at the end of a perfect day. He told himself sternly that he didn't want to be here, that he loved England and wanted to stay there, with his friends.

But some part of him knew that he could be very happy here.

"I'm Mark," he said to the girl, feeling rude not replying. Another girl wandered over and introduced herself and Mark half-leaned against his surfboard, listening to the conversation.

Lolita looked slightly startled.
"I could've sworn I knew everyone around this area." she said. "Did you just move, maybe?" she said trying to figure out why she'd never seen her before.
Loilta nodded at Mark. She could sort of sense he wasn't in the chattiest of moods. She smiled, the sun was finally setting and it was a beautiful purpley-orange colour. She gasped as she saw a flash of green at the end of it.
"Wow, that's really rare." she mumbled to herself.

(Ahh I love Newcastle too. My dad's from there so we go back every year!)

((I love the accent. Mine is kind of like it, but nowhere near as strong. Where I come from is kind of the Geordie accent but toned down. I love the strong accent. Where do you live now? England still, or somewhere else?))

Mark turned as the Sun sank down behind the waves, casting a final orange glow before night came upon the world. In the dim evening light, Mark made out a flash of green on the horizon. He'd heard about that happening, but never seen it before.

On the borders of the beach, palm trees waved feebly in the light breeze. The sand was still soft and warm beneath Mark's feet. He hated it for being so perfect, but he found himself smiling at Lolita and the other girl despite his resolution to hate it here.

Aurora Rousseau ~ 16
Description: Short for her age, but slim, and a sweet, young face with delicate features. Aurora has large, violet eyes and long, blonde hair that is naturally very curly. Her skin is tanned from spending most of her time on the beach, and she loves to wear bikinis and board shorts every chance she gets. She has a necklace that she never removes; a tiny bottle filled with sand from her "spot" on the beach, the exact place where she had her first kiss 4 years ago.
About: A California girl born and raised, Aurora has never lived anywhere but her father's little house on the beach. She is very athletic, and loves to swim, surf, jog, dance, pretty much anything you can think of, she'll try it at least once. Her father is a doctor, and her mother works in the beach café as a waitress. Even though she loves to have fun, Aurora can be quite serious at times, and cares a lot about her school work.

Name; Riko Edwards

Age; 17

Description; She is half Japanese, half English. She has light blue eyes, and jet black hair that is straight. Her skin is as white as snow because her mother is from Hokkaido. She has a average body build. She stands out from other people mostly because of her skin and eyes. She looks like a Japanese Geisha.

About; She was born straight in California and knew about C.C beach since she was 2. She lives in a beach house located near the beach. She is really smart, because of tutoring, and some parents call her the "perfect" child because of her intelligence, beauty and manners. She was abandoned as a baby and her Japanese adopted father.. well, adopted her. They moved to California where he met her English mother. She can seem anti-social at times, but she's actually shy. When you get to know her, she's funny, loud, outgoing and a lot of fun. If you've spent enough time with her, she'll consider you a good friend.

Aurora lay in the sand, her long, curly, blonde mane spread out around her head, and her bright, violet eyes closed tight. The feeling of the warm, dying sun on her face was incredible. The heat warmed every part of her, her neck, her arms, her legs, her taught, toned, stomach... It was heaven. She wondered why anyone would willingly live anywhere other than here, and with a soft laugh, decided that it was impossible.

The girl looked around herself at the little grouping of rocks that closed her into her spot at the back of the beach. Somehow, even after 4 years, there was still magic here. Of course, she and James had split long ago, and now they never even spoke any more, but there was still something special about this spot. Absent-mindedly, her hand went to the silver chain at her neck, fiddling with the tiny bottle of sand she wore there. A small smile spread across her delicate face, and her eyes closed once again as she enjoyed the last of the light on her face.

Voices drifed over toward her, and her eyes flew open once again, scanning the shoreline for other people. Eventually, she spotted the people talking, and frowned a little. No one she recognised. Slowly, Aurora stood up and made her way over to the little gathering, adjusting her board shorts so that the elastic wasn't twisted and re-tying the halter-neck on her bikini.

(I love the accent too. And the football players haha. My dad used to get so annoyed I didn't have a Geordie accent but oh well :p Noo, I was born in Hong Kong, but now live in Thailand.)

Lolita gave a sad smile. She wished her friends could've been here to have seen that green flash. Something as special as that needed to be experienced with people you cared about. She looked around at the people who had now started to gather around. Maybe this could be her new group her friends, if not for ever, why not just for summer, for now? She blinked as a speck of sand flew into her eye, and rubbed it out. The beach was getting pretty windy.
She then saw a pretty blonde girl heading their way. Another potential friend. The more the merrier, frankly.

Another girl was walking towards them across the sand, retying something around her neck. She was wearing a bikini top and shorts and Mark waved at her, still leaning on his surf board.

It wasn't as hot as it had been now that the Sun had set, but it was still very warm. Mark pulled his t-shirt on now that his torso had dried off, but left his feet bare and sinking into the sand.

Aurora smiled and waved back at the boy with the surf board, and closed the rest of the distance by jogging the last few feet.

"Hi" she said, grinning at the people in front of her. "The name's Aurora... I haven't seen you guys around here before... are you new or something?" she asked, happy to make a new group of friends.

Lolita smiled. This girl seemed friendly, thank goodness.
"Hi, I'm Lolita. I think I've seen you somewhere before.." she said mentally running through her year in her mind. "Don't we have biology, or chemistry together?" she asked. "I live here. About two miles away. Don't know about these guys though." she said gesturing to the rest of the group.
Lolita was fairly surprised. She couldn't believe how many people in this area she still hadn't met. She had always prided herself on knowing everyone.

Briana Aileen Keenan
18

Her apperance is that of any other female from Ireland, blonde/red hair and about 5'7 and very slim with freckles.

Briana just moved to C.C. Beach from Galway, Ireland. She came over here on her own because she wanted to get out of her parents house as fast as she could and she was tired of all the rain, it had it's perks but there were also cons about constant rain too. As a child her mother was always yelling about her coming inside wet and muddy ruining brand new jeans. Her Irish accent is still very strong seeing as how she just moved to California. Briana is known by many names: Bri, Ana, Aileen, and the random nick names from home. She grew up in a very smart family, her mother was a lawyer and her father was a doctor. Briana is an only child sadly. All of her family is still back in Ireland.


Briana put the last box in it's correct place and smiled. She was ready to go outside and see all the people who had gathered on the beach. Her house was sitting on the beach like a typical summer beach house but she had bought it to live in 365 not just a few months. From any room facing the ocean, her windows gave her a wonderful view which is why she bought it. Since the first time she went to the beach with her parents on vacation when she was six, she had wanted to learn how to surf, after walking off of her front porch onto the sand, she saw a guy with a surfboard and several girls huddled around like a campfire meeting minus the campfire.
Carefully she walked over examining each person and smiled brightly. "Hi, I'm new here. My name is Briana." Her accent was very strong and she wondered if anyone could understand her.
