"Hi!" Brooke said happily into the phone. The walked back into the living room. "What's your name?" She asked the boy on the other end of the line as she sat down on the couch. She bounched in her seat, excited to be talking to someone on the phone when Kerra didn't get to although she knew Kerra wouldn't want to .

Geenie watched Claire and Tobi for a while, finishing up her breakfast. It was kind of nice, being one big (well, quite small...) family unit again. It was much more independant and individualized at school. She had forgotten how... nice it could be to feel included and wanted.

"Are you hungry, Claire? I can't get Tobi to try my cooking, but maybe I can tempt you. I promise I didn't experiment." As always, she'd made way more than she could ever eat. The idea of being able to eat whatever she wanted whenever she wanted was an idea that still elated her. Her father had loved, after all, to put them on diets.

"I am Tobi... May I ask... Who is calling?" He asked the cheery voice on the other end. Man, did he wish he could be as happy as she sounded. He suddenly loathed the voice over the phone...

"Hi Tobi! I'm Brooke Way," She said happily. "I think you're my brother but Kerra said none of you guys are so I'm not real sure. Are you coming soon cause I'm really bored and I want to play with you guys!" She said happily into the phone. Standing up, she kicked Kerra is the back before running over to the stairs and sitting down on one of them.

"Sure," Claire shrugged. "I haven't eaten since before I left my apartment back home. And it looks like your cooking has gotten much better since before I moved away," Claire giggled. Before she got up, she opened the large pet carrier and placed Coco gently inside. "Oh, and these are Coco and Sassy. I got them since you came down for my birthday. Well, Bree gave them to me for my birthday, just after you left," Claire said, motioning towards the pet carrier as she stood up straight. She walked over to the table, and took the chair across from Geenie. "What'd you make?" Claire asked. She saw Geenie's empty plate, but didn't see the other food. She figured it was up on the counter, out of view from Claire's prying eyes.

"We should be on our plane in... Two hours. Expect us in... Four hours..." He waited for a reply. His mind wandered to this 'Kerra' and probably agreed with her that they weren't related... That man was no father. He was an abuser...

Geenie grinned, delighted. She raised the rest of the food into Claire's view. "French toast and bacon!" she announced. "A little random in retrospect, but hey, that's like, two major food groups. Three if you count the syrup."

"Tooobiii!" she sang, raising her voice. "Claire's going to eat my food and she's going to like it. Do you want to watch so that I have witnesses?" She dashed from the room and found him murmuring into the phone. "Who's that, Tobi? Secret girlfriend?"

He held up his index finger at Geenie. "...Bye." He hung up the phone. "It was our sister," he said with air quotes, "Brooke. Wondering when we were... Arriving. I said four... Maybe five hours. We have to be on the plane in two..."

Claire smiled at Geenie's eagerness to prove herself to Tobi. "One of their names are Brooke?" Claire asked, interested. "And this looks good," Claire said, rubbing her stomach as Geenie set the food down. "Do I need to wait for Tobi to watch me, or can I eat now?" Claire looked up at Geenie, her pale blue eyes twinkling. She grabbed the syrup, and poured a ton on top of the french toast, drowning it and grabbing the bacon so it didn't get syrup-ey. She took a bite off of the bacon strip, then looked down at the syrup, a grin on her face. "Hmmm..." Claire said. She stuck the bacon into the syrup, then put it up to her mouth. She sniffed it, and her small nose wrinkled. She opened her lips and took a bite. She chewed slowly, then looked up. "Bacon tastes good with syrup," Claire said, giggling.

Tobi smiled at Claire. He did miss her randomness and cheery mood. At the same time, he loathed it. He grabbed his guitar and sat alone on the couch. Slowly, he began to strum lightly and sing softly to himself. A sorrowful tune entered the still air and allowed the sound to carry. We should leave for the airport soon... He thought as the melancholy melody continued to echo and fill the silent house.

Brooke said bye and hung the phone up. When she heard Kerra's question she sprung off of the couch, grinning. She walked over to Kerra and punched her in the eye four times. "That many hours," She said giggling as she ran back over to the couch. "Tyler make her stay sitting down so she doesn't hurt me," Brooke ordered as she watched and waited to see what Kerra's reaction would be

Tyler could feel his face burning up when Kerra kissed him. He looked over at her. "How about now?" He asked nervously. He then heard that Lainie was coming over. "Okay, cool," He said and he couldn't help but to laugh when Brooke started punching Kerra. He got up slowly. "Can't help you this time, kiddo. I'll get the door while you two kill eachother. I'm betting on you, Kerra," He said as he smiled and opened the front door.

"Hey Lainie," He said.

Brooke's high pitched shriek echoed off of the high living room cieling as Kerra hit her. She got up and crossed her arms. Brooke waited until Kerra sat down and she kicked the back of her head as hard as she could. She walked off, sulking, into the kitchen where she sat down at the table. "Get me an icepop, Kerra!" She demanded as she wiped the tears from her icy blue eyes. "Get me it right now!" She yelled once more. Brooke had never been this bratty in her life. She knew that she shouldn't be taking the anger she had from her parent's death out on her sister but she was and she didn't care.
