Welcome

Chances are you've seen the 1986 film Labyrinth. Even if you haven't or aren’t particularly familiar with the Labyrinth universe you are welcome to apply all the same as we are always looking for people to join the cast.

This will be an equal opportunity experience meaning the Labyrinth itself is simply one of many possible backdrops in the game. New location will be presented as needed. The story line will not be limited to the boundaries of the Labyrinth since the Underground in general is as vast and mysterious as our own imaginations. That being said all characters are required to make their entrances somewhere in the Labyrinth unless stipulated otherwise by me. If you're a new player entry into the story might be a little tricky so please don't hesitate to ask for assistance.

I also request that all members and prospective cast fully take advantage of the the Peoples and Places board as it is a direct guide the the Labyrinth Universe as presented in this interactive story. For those people perhaps unfamiliar with the Labyrinth Universe this guide will be an invaluable tool to help players understand the fantasy atmosphere of this game.

I would also like to point out that many of the motifs in this interactive story have been inspired and styled after popular 80's fantasy films. Natural Labyrinth is the basis but as you play in this world you might also encounter flavors from such films as the Dark Crystal, Legend, Willow, Return to Oz and so forth. So I recommend these kinds of film in moments of writers block.

Premise

We're all familiar with Sarah's adventures in the underground. Now it's time to tell yours. The idea here is that somehow someway you've landed yourself in the Labyrinth/Underground. Whether you started out in the Underground and are just trying to live your life or you somehow landed yourself there unwittingly for one reason or another…the point is your stuck dealing with the Labyrinth and it’s various oddities and people.
