I don't have a problem with the fact that post ratings are gone from the site, but I do have a problem with the fact that the "Best Threads" list is still at the top of the page.

If we are no longer going to be able to evaluate threads and posts, it doesn't seem fair that the last five posts listed on the site remain at the top to receive unwarranted and free advertisement on the site because they are a remainder of a defunct feature. If we are not longer entitle to rating posts, let's not reward threads that largely reached that list because of friends that inherently rate each other's post highly for no reason or any other ratings that don't actually rate for the right reasons.

I think they brought back the ratings so they wouldn't have to bother following through with your logic.


I agree with you though. But I also just think the rating systems was/is a terrible idea.
