"It's a tough call dude." Brian said to Mark. "On one hand, if we are on the same team then we are unstoppable and our team in guaranteed the win. On the other hand, if we play against each other at least there will be a challenge."
Brian paused to think about his answer before finally giving a verdict. "I say same teams. Let's start the year off with a bang and send some underclassmen to the nurse." Brian chuckled. He wasn't malicious, but he did see dodge ball as a right of passage. Even her and Mark got wailed on when they were freshmen. Of course it was only for the one game that occurred before football season... but still. It counted.
Meanwhile, Brooke looked over at Josh. He seemed apologetic for the food court incident, but she couldn't tell why. Brooke was someone who never did something she didn't want to do, so it only made sense to her that others were like that. It seemed that Josh hadn't wanted to chant, but did it anyway. This lead her to thinking about the people around her, and how little she actually understood them. Brian was an open book as far as she was concerned. Then again, he was her twin. For the most part he was rude and conceited, but he did have a soft spot for his sister. Plus he would do anything for his friends. Mark was partially understood by Brooke, but even after knowing him for so long she still felt like she had a million questions. And all the other people in the school, she hardly knew, with the exception of her other female friends. However, it seemed like everyone in the school knew her, or thought they did, anyway.
