Dragon's Point, New Demon City

"Why Reap, they were crazy, no way genies and djins are real.?" Reaper's telepathic pal asked as he stared at him. "Because clueless, my father knew that they were not lying. And I'm tired of being ignored by the girls here. Leaving his pal standing there, Reaper got his motorcycle and left. Calling his brother and getting to it jump started, he narrowed his brown eyes as he mused silently, 'I'm tired of being ignored and being alone.' Minutes later, he was packing his duffel when his twenty four years old cousin leaned on the door frame. "You leaving cuz?" Reaper stopped and said, "Yeah, tonight." "You coming back?" "Eventually." Just minutes after midnight, Reaper was in an air force transport headed for New Genie City.

Ifrit International Building, New Genie City

'Now I'm here in the desert, in the middle of genie central, about to go searching for an old book with a dancing female djin on it.' he thought as he stood on the roof of the central building of the town. "You sure you want find her Reap? You do know how she's gona act?" Uriel said as she came beside her brother. "Untrusting, pissed, stuck up, haughty, distant, yeah I'm sure I want to find her Uri." Reaper replied, staring out in the night. 'Plus I'm tired of being alone sis. I want to claimed by someone.' he thought sighing softly. Later after Uriel went to bed, Reaper balled up his fist and felt the magic that he has flow. "I'll looking tomorrow night."

Next day Reaper hits the market for his night search. While the others flat out refuse to help, a group nomads who knew the area and had very keen insight of the ancient sorcerer that lived there agreed to help him. 'Better be worth it?' he thought. After getting his stuff and organizing for the night, he laid on the couch and stared the lacey silk covered ceiling. "Alright miss djin, I'm coming for you." he said, sending out through the djin magic connection he got from the Jeinz. 'I'm in for a fight, but it'll be interesting.' he thought, falling asleep.

Mona had been imprisoned for years, she wasn't even sure how many when she thought about it. she was angry,who in their right mind would leave her kind left so long in a book? and a book of all things... she would get out and when she did... mercy be to who let her out, because she was pissed.
why was she suddenly thinking about being freed, she had been sitting in this book for god knows how long, and only now was she thinking about being freed, like she knew it would happen. she sighed to herself. perhaps she would be freed soon, it would be nice...
Mona sighed again and hoped something happened quickly, she was tired of being imprisoned in the dark pages of a book. it was driving her insane.

When the night came, Reaper was in the desert looking the book and getting very pissed. "Where's that damn book!?" he growled, he kicked the sand. 'Wish they gave a damn map, it would this so much damn easier.' Reaper thought as two girls from the nomads came to him and said in unison, "We are Shayera and Liara, maybe we can give you an other way to find the book." Reaper blinking at them, he says, "Ok." "Do you know the djin's name?" Liara asked, grabbing his hand. "Mona, I think." As she closed her eyes she sent off a wave of magic and felt Mona's book. "Found her, two miles east." Minutes later, Reaper picked the book and was about open when he looked and saw ten men surrounding him and the girls. "To powerful for us to defeat." Shayera said softly. 'Not for me.' he thought putting the book in the messager bag. "Should I ask why?" "It's no of your concern mortal, just hand over the book." Reaper snorted, "Bullshit."

Mona felt a wave of magic hit her book. they were looking for her. she grinned to herself. she would be released soon. she shifted her weight around getting impatient. she could feel the book being jerked around, sounds outside her book. it would be soon. she grinned wider waiting to be released. she could hardly wait.

Reaper, leaping around while dodging magic blasts, clinked on his radio and said, "Uri, smoke." As Uriel dropped the smoke bomb, he grabbed the girls and teleported them to his room. "Ok, time to the chewing out for some other shit." he said opening the book and setting it on the floor. Feeling air becoming foggy and heavy. Shayera and Liara sat on either side of Reaper as he crossed his arms and leaned a surpport post.

Mona felt her book open and she grinned. she felt her body form and stepped out of the book, running her long elegant fingers through her soft blondish red hair. she looked around the room and saw 2 women, and a man. "and who released me?" she asked in her thick accented voice. she assumed it was the male.
she set one hand on her hip and watched the boy with her dark purple eyes. "well?" she asked grinning slightly. she was angry at the world, but she supposed a thanks would be in order for whoever set her free.

"I did, so when does the belated chewing out start?" he said as he stared into her eyes. Going to stand in front of her, Reaper placed his hands on his hips and thought that was she a hottie. 'Now comes the magical bitch slap.' he mused, rolling his neck.

Mona smiled and walked around the boy. he was handsome she thought, though very human. she grinned and stopped in front of him. "so you understand that locking my kind away for long periods of time tends to make us angry then?" she snickered and her eyes darkened. "oh good." she growled and did everything in her power to destroy the room around her. "well i am pissed little human" she growled. "locking me into that book was a massive mistake." the air around her heated, her hair swirled around her face lightly. "are you afraid boy?"

"No, your parents got me used to magical display. You could blame the shit head you were with a thousand ago for locking you in the book." Reaper says, staring into her eyes and huffing. Ever since he met her parents, he had surprised them with his calm. 'Never felt scared when I face mythical creatures.' he thought.

she tilted her head and shrugged. "a thousand years hmm?" she crossed her arms. "then i suppose that man is dead." she sighed. "well what do you want then? i suppose i owe you something for freeing me?" she asked with a bored expression. she hoped he didn't ask for three wishes, she would probably kill herself if he asked for wishes.

"Last I checked, sorcerers tend to be hard to kill and long lived." he says as he thought about what he wanted. "Three wishes and a chance to get to know you, if that's fine with you, Mona?"

she grumbled. "fine..." she crossed her arms. "three wishes... what is your first wish?" she wondered around the room. she hadn't ever met anyone who chose to get to know her. she hated granting wishes, but she supposed he HAD freed her. "i will grant you your wishes, and you may get to know me" she found a spot to sit.

'What should I wish for?' he thought as he sat next to her. "Wish I knew why the prick locked you in a book. You're to pretty to be in anything and forgotten." he says, looking up and staring at the ceiling. Hearing the girls lay on the bed and started to mess with his jacket.

she looked over and shrugged. "wish granted." in a moment he was holding a golden mirror. "that will allow you to see into the mind of the man who imprisoned me." she smirked. "you need only ask it what you wish to know, and it will reveal anything in his mind to you. even if he is dead." she sat on the edge of the bed and crossed her legs eyeing the boy. something seemed different about him. he hardly seemed to care that she could grant him anything he asked for. he seemed mostly interested in her herself.

Watching the images in the mirror, Reaper already hated the guy from what Mona's parent told him and now he wanted the guy dead. Putting the mirror away he glances at Mona and says, "Tell me about you."

Liara wondered why she was here, 'Why?' she thought. But whatever the reason, she knew that this will be interesting. Shayera looked at Reaper and was curious about him.

Mona paused. she hadn't expected what he asked, and she shrugged unsure of an answer. "well as you know im djinn..." she paused thinking. "I've been trapped in a book for a thousand years." she stood again and began to pace. "i used to go everywhere, a free djinn. i didn't have to answer to anyone until that man captured me. he forced me into the book when i disobeyed. after a while he stopped calling me back out of it." she crossed her arms. "what exactly do you want to know?"

"I was under the empression that you were seeing him or something. Or that's how your parents phased it when they came to my ninth birthday party and the following years after." he says, tilting his head.

she shrugged and nodded. "well one of his wishes was me..." she crossed her arms. "so i was with him." she sighed. "he was nice at first, different, but then he became addicted to my power and then i was more like his slave."

Not noticing the disparture of the girls, Reaper stood up and went behind her, places his arms around her and says, "Wana ask me questions?"

Mona paused. he was treating her like a lover. she looked over her shoulder and nodded. "why are you different?" her voice was quiet.
