I haven't got a very good view of the whole compound, so for instance, I don't know where the doors are, or even how they're guarded, but I guess it's gonna involve team-work. Right ?

Lotsa teamwork. =D And you're supposed to not have a good idea of what the entire complex looks like. All that's known is that each cell is specially designed for everyone's needs, there's three levels worth of them, the bottom floor is the recreation center, and also on that floor is a huge door that can't be broken. On the other side of that door is a pair of guards, but that's all.
