A new apartment has recently opened in Millhouse Drive, more commonly referred to as Block 207. Mr. Maddox, the landlord of the building, posted an advertisement in the newspaper for the apartment.
You'll find that if you enter the apartment, there is a cork board with one piece of paper posted on it, and a letter board showing what rooms belong to who. This was what was on the paper :

To my dear tenants, welcome to Millhouse Apartments. You'll find that when you get to your separate apartments, you have your basic bathroom, your own bedroom, just enough space for a dining area and a living area, and a spare room for whatever you might want to put. There are trash chutes (Please, do segregate your trash) on the second floor. My room is on the ground floor if you need me.
Now, there are several things you have to remember.

1. You are free to do anything you want, with the exception of extreme violence and all those mature things. Keep that to yourself, or take it somewhere else.
2. Please, do get along with each other. I can't have anyone create too much noise as I am living on the ground floor and can hear all your noise.
3. Please. Be mature enough. You don't want the other tenants making a bad impression of you, and
4. Do enjoy your stay here.

Personality: He has a very benevolent personality, and is the common good neighbor. He has a seemingly infinite amount of patience, and is a very understanding person. If you have a problem, he is sure to fix it for you, even in the most unnoticeable way. He is also quite good with children and teenagers.

Biography: Not much is known about Mr. Maddox. The only person who ever knows his given name and other details about him is his daughter Angela, one of the tenants.

Personality: She has a very quiet personality, though she can live in a very, very noisy environment. She prefers to spend her time productively, like knit hats to give to orphans or to sell, read books, sketch or play piano. Inside, she would actually like to break out of her quiet exterior and do something exciting like bungee jump or get drunk or something adventurous, but she doesn't have enough confidence to handle those activites.

Biography: She is the daughter of Mr. Maddox. When she was 5, a car accident left her older brother, Curtis, paraplegic and killed her mother. Mr. Maddox, as a result, became a little more withdrawn than usual, but still maintained his old traits. The incident left her quiet for a long time. She has recovered from the incident, save for a white scar on her torso she had gotten when a piece of debris from the broken window slashed her.

She has had relationships in the past, but they never lasted long, as she found that there was no one who could ever truly understand. Well, maybe except for her father and brother, but aside from them...

If one could read Rafe's astrology chart, it could make a believer out of anyone. He is
Intense and complex by nature, having extremely strong emotional reactions to most situations. Feelings are often very difficult for him to verbalize. Therefore he has a tendency to be very quiet - - to brood and think a lot. He seldom gets overtly angry, but, when he does, he is furious and unforgiving. If he is challenged, you take it as a personal affront and tend to lash out and fight back in a vengeful manner. He adores mysteries and the supernatural. A good detective, Rafe love getting to the roots of problems and you enjoys finding out what makes other people tick. He has a domineering will. Biography:
Despite such a powerful drive to be the best. Rafe hasn't gotten far. He is a 30 year old cook in a small diner. He isn't married, hardly ever been in a meaningful relationship, and has properly allocated a sizeable sum to get by on, without any desire to spend money. This flat was his big buy. His past before hasn't been tormented, in fact, his passion and love of life makes him seem optimistic, but he just feels like he could have played his cards better.

He is a little obsessive, and the biggest thing is his teeth. It's gross, but he will constantly tend to his pearly whites, flossing them over and over, stopping a perfectly good conversation just because he thought he might have felt something. This is the sort of thing he demands of himself. He was born with a baby face, he'll admit, and he likes to tell people about his eight or nine midlife crises which consisted of suddenly adopting an enormous ego.

Rafe is sort of sensitive about his name. He's told that it might have been able to pull it off if he were born 15 years ago... but 30, it didn't go over well. He'll often go be Ray.

He wonders if he has missed out on anything, never going to college, just living off his pay at the diner. He can make some incredible comfort food, however, and the occasional finer stuff. He may or may not speak a few languages... may or may not have slummed around Asia or Europe... he just doesn't find much interesting in his past.

Appearance (You can put a photo here.): Calleigh has long autumn red hair and light blue eyes, both which stand out against her rather pale skin and brown freckles that cover her face and arms. Her eyes are hidden behind a pair of black, thin-framed set of glasses due to her been long sighted and finding it hard to focus on near objects.
Calleigh isn't the thinnest of girls, weighing in at around 135lbs. That's not to say she's fat either. She's just a girl that has meat to her bones and isn't afraid to look a little healthy and chubby - in her opinion anyway. She's a little on the smaller side compared to her twin brother, and is only 5'3. One thing that separates Calleigh from a lot of people is the fact that she's totally death and cannot hear what anyone is saying.
As for clothes, Calleigh is one to dress more conservative than most girls her age. She tends to stick to jeans rather than dresses or skirts, and also wears shirts and hoodies. It's just her style and what she feels comfortable in.
Personality: Calleigh is a shy girl, mainly because she is deaf. From past experiences she's learnt that as soon as she's mentioned it, people have treated her differently, either like an idiot, or just tried to avoid her. Because of this, her mother tried to keep Calleigh hidden away and pretected, making her daughter quite a shy, quiet and timid person. Once people get to know Calleigh though, they'll find she's quite kind, sweet and very helpful. These traits aren't always helpful though as sometimes you can be too nice to people and as a result, get walked all over, which has happened to Calleigh the few times she's befriended people.
Other traits of Calleigh's personality, especially towards family, is that she can be rather stubborn and argumentative. This is definitely with her mother, who wants to keep Calleigh protected, even at nineteen. Calleigh does want to go out in the world though, not just past school.
Biography: Calleigh has been deaf from birth and has had to deal with not been able to hear anything. Her mother found this hard to cope with, but as soon as Calleigh was old enough, her mother enrolled her in lessons that taught her to lip read as well as speak on her own, though, even now, because she can't hear what she's saying, her speech is slightly off when she talks. Rather than starting school with her brother, Calleigh was taught at home with a special tutor. It wasn't until Calleigh got older and begged to go to school with her brother that she finally was able to go. Calleigh has managed to keep up at school, mainly because she's had extra tutoring afterwards.
Their home life wasn't all that easy though. Their mother focusing on Calleigh and her work all the time, her father didn't really have any time with his wife, and finally, when the twins was six their father moved out and they finally divorced. It was hard on the twins, but expected as the family had always been distant.
Since then, Calleigh has decided that it's time to get a place of her own and thought that an appartment is the best place to start. Not far from her mother and brother, the shy natured girl is looking forward to her own independence much to the dislike of her mother. Calleigh is certain that despite been deaf though, she can live a normal life just like other people, as well as live on her own and be perfectly fine.

Hope you don't mind that I've taken my character from another roleplay that I'm in and just edited a few things about her and left out her twin as well as made her older. If you have a problem with this, just let me know and I'll think up something else. I just want to work with her as I really like what I've created with her ^^.

Biography: Biography: coming for a small sliver of Puerto Rico,La Isla de Vieques. she was taught at a early age about respect and love. finally moving to america at the age of 4 after her mother died defending Celestina and her father Alberto from Slavers. narrowly escaping, Celey and her father moved to america only to have her father shot dead at the age of 7. moving for place to place in fostered homes caused her to become depressed and repressed often not talking or even hiding. at 10 years old Celestina found that she had psychic ablities often to sense people and danger commonly refered to me as ESP and at 15 she was in a horrific acciedent in which she slammed her face into the dash board activing her ablility to see slighty into the future her scar can be seen just above her right eye.

Charming, alluring, fierce, soft spoken, intelligent, kind hearted, open minded, enthusiastic, an optimist at heart.

Biography:
Alessandra is the daughter of a Spanish Latin dance instructor (who owns a dance academy) and an American business executive who was a CEO for a major software developer. Her mother teaching her how to dance - in hopes that she might be able to go into professional dance - something she herself wasn't able to do anymore (due to age). She had lead a carefree life until one day her father was murdered (when she was 9 yeas old) - a grotesque scene, the police officers stated the man had not a drop of blood in his veins. The murder never got solved, though it was said that a underground occult group practiced these sort of things - something very dark. Never finding the closure she needed, she hid away her true emotions and feelings - behind a facade of lies - always being kind and friendly towards anyone. Back then, when the news broke - all she can remember is, feeling alone and restless.

At the moment she's busy with settling in, getting the things together to open up her own dance studio - she had to move away from her family, they seemed too over bearing. She needed the room to breath, her own existence needed a fresh new start.

Jacob is 6'2 and comes in around 186lbs. He's leans and toned with strong legs that carry him further than most people could. Dark chestnut brown hair which he usually wears mid-short and creamed slightly upwards. A slightly tan body due to his frivolous obsession of skating which he does do topless. Dark green eyes, got pretty long lashes for a guy - he's a bit obsessed about it - to the fact that he shortens them. He's got a couple tattoo on his body, two on his right arm - Japanese Kanji for health and luck, a Japanese Tiger from his lower back going to his left shoulder blade and a Sphinx head on his left upper arm. He wears comfortable clothes, dark baggy jeans with a wife beater,a cap and some converse - he always wears some sort of hoody.

Personality:
He's a bit of a freak, in every essence of that word. A wild child, he never really gives a fuck about something undesirable as rules. Though he's got a few things that might tick off some of his close friends, one being a control monster at times and two he's a stubborn asshole. He can get very aggravated if things don't go smooth, he's got a very short fuse and tends to rush into situations before thinking them properly through. He jumps to conclusion and assumes things without any kind of knowledge of the actual situation. Jacob is known to attract trouble, heck for all he knows he is the embodiment of trouble. But his easy go lucky nature and caring side tends to blank out all the flaws he has got in his complex personality.

Bio:
The child of a divorced marriage, he was sort of spoiled by his parents. Both of which tried to bribe him with gifts and things he didn't need just so the other would look bad in front of the rest. His life was non problematic, unlike most kids, growing up in two different households - he had everything he wanted and could demand anything when he wanted. School was never really a problem, he was an average kid with his strengths in Art, music and P.E. His passion for skateboarding lead him in to the participation of many nationwide contests on a regular basis. He's pretty good but has yet to win a major title.

His other passion music - he rounded up a few friends of his to form a band called "The Intruders" which usually always play in his Punk/Rock in his garage. They do minor gigs in bars and for local festivities, he's the lead guitarist and one of his best friends is the lead singer. The two of them go way back, and are somewhat inseparable. Going on trips was something he did every summer, be it Dubai, Germany, England or around the United States - he had seen most of it.

Scarlett thinks she should be the most beautiful woman that ever lived and is constantly trying to improve herself so that no one else looks as good as she does. If there is anyone prettier than her she can instantly loathe that person however tries to be nice and doesn't want to come across as unfriendly. She is a deep thinker but always wants to be right and isn't happy accepting other people's views on religion or politics and can often go into a sulk if she feels nobody is listening to her. She can be philosophical and is ready to discuss with anyone the mysteries of life and the supernatural. She doesn't tell people much but she did get a philosophy degree when she was younger. She tends to keep that to herself trying to maintain her image, and only really tells people she knows. What she shows to the world is a front, a mask, and underneath she in an intelligent young lady with hopes and fears and dreams. The mask she shows to the world is of this rich beautiful goddess, sexy and powerful.
She was once married to a rich movie producer called Barron Rose, and is currently in the final stages of divorcing him. She grew up in New York and was a model before leaving it to get married. Three years into her marriage she came home and caught her husband in bed with a little tart from the playboy mansion, and she was incensed. She packed that day and left the family home in L.A. and left, and the next she contacted her solicitors to start divorce proceedings. Barron sometimes comes to see her.. or tries to get her to come home as he did not want a divorce and didn't want to get caught in bed with the girl he did get caught with. He thinks Scarlett will take all of his money and wealth if they divorce.

Personality: Kennady isn't like most people you may have met that have big families. She's very warm and fun to be around. Kennady plays on the naive side since as a child she preferred to be with her mother and father rather than with her siblings. Upon first meeting the ever so beautiful Kennady she is shy and very kept to herself. It's very easy for you to get her to trust you since she doesn't really know the difference between being genuinely sincere and acting like your sincere. Once you really get Kennady to open up she is a funny girl who wants to have fun but isn't sure how to go about that. Though she may be quiet if someone says something about one of her siblings she will try her hardest to stick up for them.

Biography: Kennady Elizabeth Baker was born to John and Camilla Baker in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is the youngest of two siblings. An older brother, John Michael Baker III, and an older sister, Jacqueline "Jackie" Anna Baker. Her parents were very wealthy seeing as how her father was the biggest divorce attorney in Salt Lake and her mother a best selling author with three books coming out and one of them being made into a movie. For years Kennady Elizabeth lived in the mansion cabin on the hill and as a child, she was always prnacing around the house trying to make outfits. Since her siblings moved out of the house before her Kennady became very sheltered and preferred to be around her parents more than anyone. She would sit in a corner and draw her different fashions out. Kennady has moved away from home to try and get her fashion career off the gorund.
