Loreta had finished working out, which was a vigorous one. Usually when she worked out hard, Kenny left her at the community area halfway through it. And now she was walking back to her apartment with the invitation in her hands. Party, huh, great, now she can give away one of the many vodkas her granny sends over from Ukraine. She must have fifteen if she were to count now. Didn't the woman know that not all Eastern European girls got drunk every weekend. No, Reta's priority was school and her job.

After she entered her apartment and closed the door behind her, she realized she still needed to do her assignments for class. And half the books she left in the car. Throwing her worn jacket over her shoulders, she headed back out the door. She was wearing BEBE sweatpants and a black tank-top, with pumas on her feet. Her curly hair bouncing in that fluffy ponytail as she made her way down the single flight of stairs since she was on the second floor. She sorta had expected the cold breeze to hit her square in the face when she opened the door, because she always had an inkling about what weather will be like in a few hours. She crossed the parking lot to her Camaro, and opened the drivers door, swung the seat forward and leaned in to gather the two small books. When she closed and locked up the door, she was eyeing the new tenant, her landlord's daughter, and a current tenant.

"Hi!" She raised her arm in the air to wave a greeting towards all three of them, "You guys need some help?" Reta called over, her accent heavy on her words. It was polite to ask, though she doubted he needed any more help, two people were already helping him. So she didn't make her way towards them just yet.

Bishop was faintly intimidated by this rather smart looking man with a unfamiliar accent, or perhaps it was just Bishops altered state of mind. He was by no means threatened by this stranger, but he doubted that the two of them shared any thing in common. Why would smart guy hangout with a dumb community college dropout anyways? Bishops train of thought was derailed when he saw the woman bundled up in the hoodie wearing short shorts. The image almost forces Bishop to chuckle, but again, that might have been his altered mind again.

"I have something special for you." He said as he pointed to the woman. "Just a second." he hurried to his trunk and unlocked it.
"Simon, there's a small box in the front passenger seat, if you could get that for me that would be great." He told the man with the bag in his hand as he pulled out an old large guitar case and walked back to the woman.

"Be careful with this, it's old and falling apart." He told her as he handed it to her gently before going back to his trunk and closing it.
"All I need is my duffel bag and then that it for now." He said to no one in particular as he walked over to his back seat and grabbed a huge army-green bag; slinging it over his shoulders.
"Ready?" He asked the rest of the moving crew.

Shamelessly, Loreta checked out the new tenant. A fine looking man, she mused. She waved awkwardly at his 'no, thank you' but didn't say anything more, instead, she set the books on the roof of her Camaro and pulled forth a soft-pack from her jacket pocket. Loreta, since she was sixteen, has been smoking, she's done worse when she was younger, but it's all in a learning experience. Every now and then, she would pull out her well loved and well worn glass bong, that was victim to dropping, scratching, burning and, of course, drowning, and yet occasionally she wouldn't use anything else but that glass device. Kenny, of course, didn't know this fact. It was mainly her and Fran.

Leaning against her car, she eyed the trio with the boxes and the guitar that was handed to the Maddox girl, while plucking the ciggy out of her mouth and blowing a cloud of smoke upward. Legs crossed at the ankles, and one hand in her jacket pocket, while the other held the cigarette near her thigh, tapping at it frequently. She'd raise it to her lips again, take a drag, and blow, dropping her arm once more. It wasn't until a cold breeze blew past her that she hunched her shoulders slightly, raising the fur hood over her head.

Simon smiled a little when Bishop removed the guitar from his trunk. As he went to the passanger side and lifted the little box into his arms, he asked; "Accustic or electric?" He figured it would be an old accustic thing that he'd gotten from a pawn shop somewhere. The guy in front of him just had that kind of feel.

When the woman came bouncing out in her short-shorts and a hoody, Simon just shook his head. Americans never seemed to know how to dress for the weather. They usually looked like they were trying to be prepared for all eventuallities. A good thought, in retrospect, but not very effective.

Angela couldn't help but look down. She was so embarrassed by what she was wearing. A hoodie on top of a rather revealing camisole and short shorts. She should have worn something more appropriate. Blushing hard and still looking down, she took the guitar case gently from Bishop. The wood smelled old, just like the furniture she remembered from her grandfather's house. Those were fond memories of her childhood; visits to his house on the hill, how Curtis used to chase her... She snapped back to reality, remembering that her grandfather was dead, her ailing grandmother lived in the now dilapidated house on the hill and that Curtis could never walk again. She heaved a sigh and looked up at Simon and Bishop, who were probably silently judging her.

"Alrighty then." she said as loud as she could, though it was a little over a mumble.
She held the guitar case closer to her.
"By the way, I'm Angela Maddox. I help run this place with father. Where to, Mr... I didn't catch your name."

"It's an accustic, an old spainsh guitar acctually. It belonged to my granfather; it was given to me after his death." Bishoped explaned to the smart looking man as he closed the car door with his hips. It took bishop many years practice to be able to talk about his grandfather without sound sad, he still needed many more years to perfect it. "And my name is Bishop Towers." He told the Maddox girl in a much more cheery voice, "I'm in room 1015."

Bishop glanced back at the other woman who was across the parking lot. Something about her just screams truoble, and for some reason that made her justa little bit more attractive. But soon enough Bishop gained his senses but and brushed off the temting thoughts. He knows he cant' afford to start anything he can't finish, besides, Sex always limits an artist imagination. Bishop quitely reafirmed his philoshopy and took a deep breath.

"Off we go." He said to the other two as he headed inside. "does this place have an elevartor?" He asked them once he made it into the warm building, "I couldn't find one earlyier." He confessed. Bishop wanted to hurry up and get done with the moving and move on to more... relaxing stuff. Maybe he was addicted, but atleast he was a funcal addict.

"Oh. Okay, Mr. Towers." She nodded and followed Simon and Bishop to the building. When Bishop asked if there was an elevator, she couldn't help but cringe.

"The elevator's closed off, I'm afraid. We can't find someone who can repair the elevator just yet, so father's blocked off the elevators with a plank of wood and painted it the same color as the walls.

"Goodie..." Simon mumbled, adjusting the box for a better grip. He roughly went back to the subject of the guitar. "How old is the guitar exactly? It must be a great treasure to have come down so far. What did your grandfather do?" He paused a moment. "I'm sorry, I've asked so many questions..."

Bishop smiled as he headed upstairs, listening to his two neighbors. "The guitar is older than I am." He answered. "I don't know exactly, but I know my grandfather had it with him during world-war two." Bishop was trying to be polite, but didn't really wanted to talk about his grandpa. He couldn't blame the smart man for asking questions, he doesn't know that it's a touchy subject for Bishop. "It's no problem," He told Simon as they reached the third floor. Bishop was getting better at talking about it.

"Here we are, 1015." The young man said as they arrived at his apartment door. Bishop pulled out his keys and and unlocked the door; opening it and walking into the room. He left the keys in the door knob again, it was a bad habit of his and bad memory was a side effect of one of his hobbies. The apartment was completely empty aside from a few boxes by the door. "Go ahead and put them anywhere, I'll unpack everything later." He told Simon and Angela as he dropped his duffel bag on the floor and turned to face them. "Thanks again you two. you really made moving a lot easier for me." Bishop felt awkward, he didn't know what else to say to them and he was never any good with goodbyes. "Yeah... so..."

Alright, so he had looked at her, big whoop, s'not like she looked like anything interesting. Reta crushed the finished cigarette beneath the sole of her foot and made her way inside, a few minutes after the trio went inside. She wasn't sure what floor he was on, and it's not like it mattered. Loreta returned back to her apartment, put her coat away, grabbed some dvds and headed back into the community areas to watch the movies she's been longing to see. Her old television didn't even have an outlet thing to plug the dvd player to it, the only thing that plugged into it was an old VCR that her grandparents had lent her for the time being, and for her to watch old Russian movies she's loved since she was a child. With the DVDs under her arm, she walked down the hall of the second floor, her apartment was right next to the community area so she didn't have any stairs to climb or descend. Her phone at her ear, she was situating herself on the couch in the public area.

"Hey, Franny, vhen you get dis, call me, okey?" Loreta told the answering machine in her thick accent. Her friend must be out partying on a Thursday night, while Loreta will be partying tomorrow at that house warming party. No one was in the community area, and often she wondered if people only streamed in here in the mornings. With those thoughts leaving her mind, she turned on the first movie, Children of Men. A powerful movie about humankind, and Loreta was watching it alone, again.

Simon looked a little perturbed at Angela for a moment. He wanted so badly to ask Bishop about the... hobby in which he was quite sure they had in common. He didn't know for certain yet, and would prefer not to bring it up in front of the young lady. He cleared his throat and stretched his acting muscles a little. "You know, you look familiar to me somehow Bishop." He lied. "I think I know you through a friend. A Ms. MaryJane Budwhick of... of 42nd and collinger street?" His eyes flickered to Angela, wh didn't seem to get the message as of yet, thankfully. "Do you know her?"

"Yes I do" she grinned at her - as always, and before she could ask her anymore she turned to the cards in her hand. Looking for the one with her surname on it - "There it is, miss Calleigh Anderson" giving the door number a quick check just to be sure - before handing her the invitation. "I am having a house warming party and would really love it if you could make it." smiling quite cheerfully, she blew a few loose strands of hair out of her face, smirking she winked at her before she made a quick exit - Alessandra was quite surprised of how long exactly it took her to go through the invites. What an exhausting job it was - but now, she was done with the whole block. All of the people who lived here had an invitation to her party - it sure would be fun and enjoyable, she hoped.

Wearing a happy and accomplished smile on her face, she made her way up the stairs - on her way up she noticed a new arrival to 1005, and to her surprise the D'Pagne guy she had just met a couple moments prior was helping him with his stuff - what a kind guy he is , nothing like the people she knew from back home. Home, a rather bitter thought - which was always pushed away quite quickly but something more uplifting ... like the party she had to finish organizing.

Than there was always that guy from the Beck's family - she was definitely looking forward to his appearance at her party. Sly smirk on her lips as she quietly entered her apartment, it had been a long day, her feet were aching and she needed a coffee - and on that note she realized she had totally ignored the invitation she had gotten from Rose earlier. A hand slapping her forehead she jumped up to her feet once more, grabbing the keys from the desk, she made her way back out - she'd have to apologize for being so late.

When she finally did make it up - she rang the door bell once but to her surprise no one was there - maybe she was out or had other things to do, oh well - what a shame, letting her shoulder hang a little she stumble down the stairs, he tiredness of earlier seemed to have oddly worn out. Bored as she was, she walked down to the common area - still dressed in her long and comfy sweat pants and wifebeater she made it over to the TV - when her gaze fell upon the blond from earlier - "Mind if I join you?" she grinned at her.

Loreta was one of those people who doesn't notice people entering the room or leaving the room while she watches TV, but often times she can acknowledge a person if she didn't expect anyone to talk with her. Otherwise, he family can't even get her attention when she watches movies. The curly-headed blond raised her eyes off the TV and towards the familiar voice she had heard today. She returned the smile and nodded quickly, "Yeah, sure," she spoke, extending a hand towards the rest of the couch.

"I vatch movies here all de time," Loreta offers that little fact to the new tenant. She lifted her legs up, allowing her arms to curl around them. She too was in sweatpants, or more so, comfortable wear.
