Blood Asylum ( )

Milla paced back and forth in her room fingers clenching deeply into the skin of her hand. “I hate this fucking place, I hate this fucking place.” She repeated this over and over before advancing towards the barred window. “I am in a jail cell, I am in a jail cell.” Growling she walked up to the door before raising her fist then pulling it back considering she did not want to get ‘punished.’ Sighing she hopped onto her bed only to get up and start pacing again.

Her door slowly opened revealing a tall man in an all white suit his eyes glaring out towards the patient. “Patient 8? You are now allowed to be out in the second floor, please if you would follow me.” A sigh of relief exited Milla’s mouth for two reasons. One, she got to be out of this room and two they didn’t want to perform on her. Smiling and skipping down the hall as though she was in a candy shop she entered the rec. room, sat down on the couch and pulled out a book from one of the bookshelves.

The nurses looked down at her with worry and scared looks. She wore a lime green, loose shirt a flowered belt wrapped around her waist. A blue skirt hung down below her knees with black leggings hugging her thing legs. For shoes she was barefoot, she hated shoes and only put them on when forced to. Her hair hung loose as usual.
I do not post until two others have posted in front of me so it does not turn into a 1 on 1...Unless it is a 1 on 1 O_o

Clip-board in hand, Laylei strides out of the elevator onto the second floor. Standing infront of the door for a moment, waiting for the familiar noise of the elevator doors closing, stopping anyone but staff from getting in.

Hearing the doors shut, she continues on to the recreational room, looking down to her clipboard, reading various information on the status of some of the patients.

Making a sharp right turn, she stops at a large windowless door which lead into area where the patients were allowed to socialize. Grabbing her security card, which dangled loosely on her neck, she swipes it, a green light and a beep, come from the security device as well as a loud thump, signaling the door's unlocking.

Opening the door with her free hand, she walks into the room, nodding to the nurses on call.

Putting her clipboard down on the nurse's desk, she looks about the room, spotting a few patients, choosing one at random to start off with

Walking over to a female patient reading a book, she drags a seat over to her from a nearby table, sitting down casually, her legs crossed, white doctor's coat covering the majority of her legs.

"Well hello, Milla. How are you today ?"

Odelia was sitting on a couch on the second floor, she had moved the couch next to the window and was watching the rain fall. It was so pretty, the way it just slid down the glass, so graceful so... glass like. She sighed as she reached her hand out to touch the metal bar. It was cold and icy...just like what her life had become since she had come here. She started to hum to herself, it was a tune that her mother had sung to her when she was little. "Im just a little black rain cloud hovering over the honey tree im just a little black rain could pay no attention to little me." She reached her fingers in between the bars... she felt lonely. She knew she could just talk to Rain but Rain would bad thoughts in her head.

Indigo paced back and forth in his tiny cell. "I'M NOT MY DAD! I SWEAR IM NOT HIM!" He yelled as he punched his bed. He breathed in and out through his nose. Why in the world was he here? He wasn't crazy. So he threw a punch or two at his girlfriend, maybe he's a bit suicidal and maybe he has some drug problems. SO what? Everybody has problems.

"Your Indigo right?" A nurse walked into his room
"Yeah."
"You have second floor privileges now"
"Great Lets go," The nurse guided Indigo into the second floor. He stood in the middle of the room, there was some chick talking to herself and another one with a nurse. "This looks fun." He laughed as he sat down on a nearby couch.
So happy to be back and writing, feels awesome =)

A smirk formed on Milla’s lips as she heard a nurse sit down next to her asking how she was doing. Glancing up from her book-which was boring-she met the nurses eyes and cocked her head to the side. “Crazy.” Was the answer before she laughed and then looked around the room. “Actually, I am bored. Nothing to do but sit all day and sitting all day equals nothing to do.” Running fingers through her hairs Milla looked as a boy walked in seeming to be very pissed off. Taking a guess that he had anger issues she turned her attention back to the nurse and gave a weird smile. “Straight jacket time!”

Grave looked up from the table he was sitting at. His long multi-colored dreadlocks hung loosely over his shoulders as brown eyes scanned the room. A boy had just entered, a girl was talking to herself and another was talking to a nurse. “Fun times.” He snarled before pushing his chair back behind him. Raising an eyebrow he spied the door open but the doctor right in front of it. “Sneaking out will be hard but quite fun.” He whispered to himself getting answers from a demon somewhere inside his head. Smash his head in. Use the chair smash his head in.

Leaning back in her chair, Laylei chuckles. "You may be crazy, but you're more sane then some of my colleagues." Listening to the patient she nodded, quietly. "Well, I suppose I could ask one of the nurses to bring a television...Oh what I did. Someone broke it, and tried to take the glass and attack the staff, Besides you have that nice book."

Smirking, she looks back to a boy entering the room. "Joy.." Getting up from her seat, she sighs. "I'll be around, If you need anything tell the nurses and they'll get me."

Looking to Milla once more, she grabs onto her chair, dragging it over to the boy sitting at the table alone, with dreadlocks. Sliding the chair to the table, she sits down, looking curiously at him curiously.

"Morning Grave, how are you today ?"

Shrugging Milla glanced at her book and sighed; maybe she would go talk to the boy who would end up in a straight jacket. Walking up to him she gave a crooked grin to the doctor then looked back at the boy. “Hi. Don’t worry the straight jacket is kind of fun once you get used to it.” Her eyes met his before reaching out and gently placing a hand on his shoulder to the doctors dislike. “Eh? Oh, no touching right. Sorry.” Smirking at the boy she took his hand and lead him over to the couch. “Don’t worry they get used to you just like you will get used to the straight jacket.”

Smash it, smash it in. The voice died down and Grave lifted his eyes to meet with the ones of the nurse. “I am tired.” Was his only quiet answer before allowing his dreadlocks to fall over his shoulder only to be pushed back. “Very tired.” Placing his head back in his hands a voice caused him to glance back up to see a loud girl grasping the hand of a boy and pulling him onto the couch next to her. “Can’t wait till she shuts up and goes in her quiet phase. She is too loud.”

"Welcome to the club." Looking back to Milla and another patient, Lay chews on her lip in annoyance, noting the psychical contact and the paper work she will now have to fill out over it.

Facing Grave once more, she nods. "Yes...She's a talker, She is. Anything you need ? Besides a pillow, unless you want me to escort you to your room to sleep. That's alright as well."

Smiling slightly, she tilts her head curiously.

Grave shook his head. "No, I rather be here then in my room." He whispered before resting his head in his arms using it as though it was a pillow.

"A straight jacket fun?" Indigo Laughed at the girl as he sat down on the couch where she had led him. He looked down at her feet...no shoes, her hair...no style, her clothes...not matching. She certainly wasn't what he had pictured an asylum patient would look like. He looked around again. There was a nurse who didn't really look like a nurse, some hippie with multi coloured dread locks and the creepy girl was still talking to herself. "So why are you here?" He asked the girl as he stretched his arms and rested his head on the couch.

Odelia turns away from her window and slowly gets up off of her chair. Rain's voice was running through her head telling her to run, telling her to start something but she ignored her. She already looked crazy enough no need to start having a fight with herself. She walked into the centre of the room, she took a slow spin around looking at everyone. There was that bitchy nurse who never really understood her or rain. Then there was the rainbow coloured guy. Last was the two new people. A strong looking boy and an odd looking girl. The boy and the girl were smiling and talking, Odelia would join but it wasn't worth it. So instead she decided to lay down on the floor. The cold tile felt nice on her back and she didn't really care if she looked crazy...she already was.

"I miss the stars the most." She says aloud and louder then she expected. She closed her eyes and pretended to be sitting underneath as black sky filled with twinkling stars. She let a smile crawl up her face.

Avalon was escorted by the arm to the Rec. Room. She was gripped tightly on the arm, but right now it didn't bother her. Right now she was happy. Right now she wanted to talk to someone...but right now was different from a second, a minute or an hour. Things could happen in an hour. Bad things. The nurse's grip was tight and slightly painful. Then again, Avalon was classified as a "problem patient." She shrugged away the thought and blinked quickly.

Then, she reached the Rec. Room. She was let in and looked around slowly. The nurse's hand released her heavy grip and then her feet clanked away from her. Her green eyes scanned the people, new people.... Oh, she loved new people. She moved over to one of the many couches and plopped down. She flipped so her feet hung over the edge and her head over the other armrest. "I'm just a little bit caught in the middle. Life is a maze and love is riddle. I don't know where to go, can't do it alone," Avalon sang to herself mainly. Yet, her voice rang around the room. She hummed the rest of the song and bobs her head along.

She was happy to be here, but she was itching for entertainment. Something fun......she could feel herself bouncing with energy. "I'm just a little girl caught in the moment. I'm so scared, but I don't show it. I can't figure it out, but it's bringing me down." She sang to herself again. Again, her body itched with excitement. Do it, Avalon! Freak out..now..it's time. She sang louder...she didn't want to leave yet. She couldn't leave yet. It was to soon. To soon. She rubbed her temples and mouthed words to herself. Oh, how her head hurt.
Our forever is together.

Odelia sat up, looking at who had disturbed her day dreaming. It was that girl...what's her name? Avalon? Yeah thats it. Her singing was starting to get a little annoying now. She got up and walked over to her and sat down beside her. Rain was telling her to slap her and tell her to shut her mouth but Odelia didn't want to do that. She sided with Odelia not wanting to cause a commotion. She tried to open her mouth and say something but instead all that came out was a little hum. She got up again and walked over to her window. The girl was still singing.
"Hit her." Rain said.
"No." Odelia replied.
"Scream at her. Scare her."
"No" Odelia whispered back to herself.
"Coward."
"NO!" She yelled at the top her lungs. She froze. She had just yelled at herself. Not at someone else. At her own imagination. Great now the nurses are gonna drag her back to her room. She started to laugh a little bit but then turned back to her window. A single tear fell and splashed onto the metal. She put her head in her hands and closed her eyes trying to drown out the sound.

Sighing at Grave, Lay jumps in surprise, looking back at the screaming patient. Letting out an exasperated sigh, and gives Grave a quick nod. "If you need anything, just get the nurses and they will get me...Hell, I'm one of the only doctors around here who's-" Stopping her self short, she mutters to herself, walking off to the window where the girl stood.

Standing solemnly next to her, Laylei nods. "Pretty today." Looking out of the corner of her eyes at the girl, she stares out her, giving her the once over. Years of being a doctor in this asylum gave her the ability to spot a violent or threatening behavior and stop it quickly.

Seeing nothing to worry about, she continues to look out the window, looking at the girl every few seconds.

Avalon say straight up and looks at the girl who sat besides her. She was about to speak to her but then she left; Avalon watched her puzzled. Then, she heard the girl mumble to herself. Quickly, she screamed and Avalon jumped. She fell to the floor with a thump. "Owie," she said standing and sighing. "That was kinda painful." She was still itching to do stuff. She walked to the girl who had screamed.

"Hello," she said to her. She looked at her hair since her head was in her hands. "Are you...alright? Well, as alright as you can be here?" She asked trying to be nice. It was obvious this girl could snap easily....then again so could Avalon. So, many thoughts pushed through her head. Cry, scream, be nice, talk, laugh, thrash, hurt someone....hurt yourself. She shook her head, but kept her pleasant feelings. Just a little bit longer. I want to stay a bit longer, She thought to herself and that calmed her nerves.

Odelia looked up at the nurse and nodded. "I love Rain. But Rain doesn't love me." She grins at her remark. It refers to two things, sure she loves the Rain but she also loves Rain, as in her other self. Rain's like a sister and those dumb doctors Have been trying to get rid of Rain. Only problem was that she wasn't sure if the doctors should be worrying about Rain or about Odelia. Rain may be the dangerous one but Odelia was most certainly the crazy one. It didn't help that her middle name was Rain, because she couldn't even refer to her birth certificate to see who she was.

She looked back up at the nurse. "Why don't they talk to me...I mean I no I'm like the definition of crazy...I friggin talk to myself. But I'm not dangerous." She sighed, Odelia may not be dangerous but Rain was. Rain was crazy and had a bad temper that fires off at any moment. Rain could hurt someone. Which is why she's here, if she hadn't of told her parents that she was afraid of Rain she wouldn't be here.

Odelia smiled at the girl. "Yeah I'm fine sorry for uh...startling you. I was yelling at myself." she laughed a bit and made room on the chair for the girl. "So why are you here?" She said as she calmed herself down. She had snapped everyone does here. It's something you have to deal with. Odelia just snaps twice as much because there's well...two of her. She looked back at the window for a moment the rain had stopped and the sun was peaking out through the clouds. It was pretty...but not as pretty as rain. Rain was beautiful and odd but the sun was normal and bright. She shook her head when she realized that once again she was referring to herself vs. Rain.

Milla grinned and shook her head. “I am here because I am me and because I am me they wont let me be free.” Giggling she met his eyes then tilted her head to the side. “And let me guess, you are here because you are angry right?” Thinking she was right she clapped her hands then rubbed them together. “Marvelous, we needed an angry guy!” Placing a finger to her chin she began to hum to herself. “Well, I bet you will be put in a straight jacket in less than an hour; unless you keep your cool dude.” The last part was said in a deep voice mimicking a man who thought he was cool before she cracked up laughing.

Grave growled before standing up and looking down at the two girls who were laying on the ground. Raising an eyebrow he shook his head before walking over to the door and peering through the glass. “Place is so stupid…People so freaky…I don’t belong here.” He mumbled to himself. Shed blood Grave, we want to feel it on our skin. “Who would give it?” Who cares? Just take someone’s blood. Grave yelped out before falling to the ground and clutching his head. “No, no, no, no.”

Indigo frowned at the girl. She was getting his nerves thats for sure. "An angry guy? You think I'm like some crazy violent psycho?" He laughed and threw his head back. "Hun, I'll tell you one thing I am not my father." He stopped laughing when he heard the last part. "Looks like i'm not the only one who needs a straight Jacket." He mumbled, so many thing were running through his head, the one thing he could not ignore was the voice saying hit her hit her hit her! He turned his head he could fill his hand moving up and then someone yelled. He dropped his fist and looked over at the guy who had just collapsed.

Odelia jumped up when the man yelled. She ducked behind her chair and peeked her eyes over the arm rest. She sent an apologetic look to the girl she had been talking too and slowly got up. She was going to go and sit down but Rain wanted to go and see what was wrong. Rain wanted to see someone in pain. In a daze she slowly crossed the room to the man. His hands were clutched and he kept saying "no" . She frowned and tilted her head. He needed well....help. Rain wanted to stay and look but Odelia wanted to run. She shook away her thoughts and cautiously put out her hand. Ever so lightly she rested her hand on the man's shoulder "are...are...you...alright?" She asked trembling.

Hearing his comment a wide grin flashed to the man. “Straight jackets can be friends to the end if you let them. When I say end I mean end.” Giggling she looked up and saw Grave on the floor and a small girl resting her hand on his shoulder. “He wants blood dear, trust me I have been in this hospital long enough with him to know. Why don’t you give him some?” Tilting her head to the side she watched for the girl’s reaction as though it was a normal request.

Grave heard Milla spoke and shot her a glare as though. “Shut up!” He roared before looking up at a brave girl-or maybe stupid-place her hand on his shoulder. Quickly he stood up and placed both hands on her shoulder staring into her eyes his own holding panic and lust for blood. Rip her open, feeling her blood rush down your body. He was trembling from the force of fighting his demons. Closing his eyes tightly, breathing coming out rushed, nails digging into the girl’s shoulder; he was trying so hard to fight it.

Cursing loudly, Lay rushes between Malli and Grave grabbing the boy by the back of his chest, pulling him back. "Let go of her!"

As Lay was wrenching the boy away from the girl, nurses and orderlies come in, stun guns in hand, screaming for everyone to get down.

"You shut your fucking mouth. Or the blood he wants will be coming from you." Indigo sneered at the girl, she was making his blood boil. Was she trying to piss him off? Of course she was. Does she know what she's doing? Who knows. He shook his head and looked at the ground. His father would of said something like that. Just right before he would hit him he would tell him to shut up or he'd die. Half of him wanted to punch the girl and the other half wanted to run. It was only a matter of time before he chose either one.

Thoughts ran through Odelia's head at lightning speed. SHe couldn't hear who was who or who was her? Wait...who was her? She didn't know if she was scared or if she was brave. She just knew that the look on the mans face was probably something what like hers looked like. She couldn't her anyones voice's they all blurred out. Except for Rain's.
"Stay. Your a brave girl right? He can't do nothin. But then again he is crazy like you...he could probably kill you right here." She closed her eyes tightly she wanted Rain's voice out of her head. "Don't call me crazy." She thought. But rain just yelled right back at her "craazyy bitch." She shook her head there was to much happening. Rain was yelling, her shoulders hurt, her vision was blurry and she couldn't hear.

Indigo looked at the little girl that that creepy guy was holding. She looked like she was about to collapse. He ran over to them. "Drop her! Look at what your doing to her! Look! She's not doing anything!" He stood in front of them he was to afraid to touch the man.
