The Ship In The Sky
Kaspar stood peering over the rail looking down from the Ship that floated slowly through the sky. His hair flowed towards his right as the moved, his hair almost hid his empty scared eyes that begun to tear up as he stared at the cities they passed. It was beautiful, although it wasn't the reason he felt sad. from beneath his white v neck shirt, that was mostly hidden by a gray hoodie he pulled out a locket, inside was a picture of his sick mother. He sighed, he wanted to go on this adventure, though he knew he would miss her. Though it wasn't like she was alone, Kaspar had older brothers and sisters to take care of her.
He closed his eyes slowly, a single tear dropped from his eye, as his tear made his way downward, the tear broke apart into mist, from there clouds formed around the ship, and soon spread across the area they where in. Kaspar sighed once more,"Why me?" he asked looking up towards the full moon and the stars, the moon looked so much bigger then when he was on the ground. Kaspar didn't worry much on how the Ship floated, but more on how they would land.
There where very few people on the deck, a lot of the people where inside the ship itself playing games and getting to know each other, though Kaspar was a little nervous around large groups of people. He decided why not practice this gift. He fell to his knees, on his holey skinny jeans, and moved over to the bars on the rail, he fit his hand between two of the bars, and with his hand spread open pointed it towards the clouds. Instantly small parts of the clouds begun to dance around his arm and hand like smoke. This brought a small smile to his face, and made his worries get dimmer and dimmer. Even though they would still stay at the back of his mind.
