Well, bonjour there. I'm just posting to say hello and introduce myself a bit. I'm not the most experienced role player, but I've flirted with the idea for a while now and I've decided I'll join a site to roleplay. And though I'm not experienced I'll try my best! Everyone has to learn, right? Anyway, I enjoy creative things and stories and so on so roleplaying has always interested me. Right now I quite fancy a zombie type thing but that's just because I've just come off of Left 4 Dead, so that's a whim, really. Anyway, a bit about me. I'm British. Scottish to be precise. I'm 15, name's Daniel, student, and so on. And if you're a Doctor Who fan you might like my username. That's all for now...me rambling on as usual. I'm going to go and find and join a roleplay now, but hi one last time. In case you didn't get the "bonjour" thing! :D

Howdy-hey!; Hello!; Bonjour!; etc.
And welcome to RPG :D I've got to say that your title brought me here. It reminded me of my French teacher at school, which isn't exactly all too bad because, well, here I am.My French teacher though, that's another story.It's nice to see a new face around here & I wanted to say my hello's, welcome's, etc. My name's Swishy, or Swish - whatever you'd like to call me. Roleplaying is a whole bunch of fun, trust me, and I'm sure you'll enjoy your time here. I've already dragged a whole bunch of my friends to join here because we all loved to write. :3 Hope to see you around RPG somewhere, and best of luck finding a roleplay. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask.

Thanks for the welcome! Haha, I like to use bits of French occasionally. Sorry it took so long to reply. I have joined an RPG now, so everything's fine so far. Thanks again for the welcome.

Welcome to RolePlayGateway and such! I'm glad to see you've met Swishy, one of our friendly and dedicated role-players. We're a pretty large community, but for the most part we're friendly. Don't be afraid to just jump right in and start RPing!
Right off the bat, don't get too caught up in labels of experience. Like you said, everything is a learning experience. If you love what you do, then do it! If you do want some extra help, don't be afraid to head on over to the Role Play Academy, which is a special section of the website roped off for articles, essays and discussions on theory when it comes to the lovely craft of writing.
Also! Make sure you check out the RPG Rules. There are only 5 of them, so don't be intimidated. They're standards set in place for all of the members of our community.
And as a final note, embark on a quest while you can to get your ten forum posts packed up and out of the way so you can use your inbox and PM other messages! The other side of that link has an explanation as to why this is necessary, and even has a list of helpful links to get you started.
I've spewed enough links at you, at this point. Please, please enjoy your stay here and if I can answer any questions for you, just let me know!
