"Too true, it would also make sence that this elder must be with the resistance. It would atleast partly explain why we are here, perhaps we should seek out the barmaid again. Im sure would know where the elder is."
This is the best complication video i could find of Kenshiro, forgive the corny english dubs;

I look at Shiro. "The barmaid, hm? Let's just hope that she will be willing to give us the location of the elder." I roll my shoulders and let out a soft sigh. "I don't think we're dealing with mere theives. Could it be one of the lower rank groups that the King assigned to this village?"

"i hope you are right about the maid, and wrong about the theives. If they are the kings men then it means either he has finally found us. Or that he has truly lost what was left of his sanity, and is try to force the people to his will. In any case its bad news for us. But perhaps we speak with the elder before make guesses."

((sorry icant move this along faster, just takes ages to post from a PS3. Do you mind helping me along for the time being? Just simple things like playing any extra chars and moving us about. Just untill i can get my desktop set back up.))

((no problem. :) ))

I look down in disappointment as I head towards the inn that the maid works at. "The King....is not fit to rule...." I said softly. "Shiro, if we are the best, why do we still hide from the King? Sometimes I just wish we could be reckless and just storm into the king's castle and kill him right there." I look at Shiro and grin. "But ofcourse, its easier said than done?"

"Indeed, it may be easyier said than done but im sure its somthing that we could handle. The only reason we dont is because of what would happen after the deed is done. The kingdom would fall into chaos or worse, without a ruler of any kind marshall law would come into play. I suppose we would be able to thrive in that kind of place but i think thats not somthing to be that proud of. Either way i think it would just make the land worse than it already is."

*We sat down at a table in the corner and waited, that place was deserted not even a barman was present. But im sure she would return here soon enough.*

"Besides i do not think of it as hiding, i like to think we are biding our time. Waiting for the right moment or the right person to come along."

Snow shook her head. "You say the kingdom would fall into chaos and I thought the kingdom was already in chaos." I let my eyes scan the area, looking for any signs of trouble before looking back at Shiro. "Biding our time? We have been doing that for quite some time, hm? Quite a patient couple, are we?"

"If the world had already fallen into complete chaos, why would people still hire us?"

*The barmaid crept into the front door and to our table and spoke quietly.*

Barmiad;"I've already told you to get out, its for your own good. Theres nothing you can do her........"

*She was cut off my a man behind her putting his hand on her shoulder. His face was covered in shadow and wore a long black cloak, he gently pulled her back and spoke to us.*

Strager;"Follow me."

*He turned and walked out of the Inn and the barmaid quickly followed. I stood up and turned to Snow extending a hand.*

"Patientce is a vertue."

I thought about Shiro's questions. "Perhaps because people still believe that there is hope in this broken world." I answered then I remain quiet as the barmaid spoke and I look at the stranger curiously and watch him leave. "Hmm..I suppose patience is a virtue." I took Shiro's hand and stood up then I follow after the barmaid and the stranger, curious as to what would happen next.

*The man led us behind the Inn and in through a trapdoor that led below the village. It was a maze of tunnels leading through the underground, after a few minutes of walking we came to a large room with several people sitting around a table. One of them was the messanger that requested we came to this place. The man sat at the end of the table and removed his hood, he was old and frail but seemed to posses much stength. He waved his had and invited us to sit at the opposite end of the table. As we sat down he stood back up and lent on the table leaning forward.*

Man;"These are the ones we heard of, the ones that might liberate the people and bring us back from the brink."

*As he spoke the others began to murmer amungst each other and glancing at us.*

Man;"Too long we have hidden ourselves away in these dank dark tunnels of dirt and mud. It is time we see the light again and who better to do it than these two?"

*He directed his stare at us and smiled.*

Man;"We want you to kill the king."

*He spoke with a certain amount of smugness in his voice, as if he already knew what we would say. I looked around the room seeing insignias and symbols, and a map with marks on it. I stood up without speaking and moved to inspect the map.*

As we followed the man, I watch everything thing with quiet interest until we came upon a large room. I instantly recognize the messenger. I sat down next to Shiro and listen to the man then I look at Shiro when the man mention that they wanted us to kill the king. I remembered suggesting to Shiro that we should kill the king but Shiro's wise answered stayed in my head. "I don't think that would be such a wise decision." I said, standing up slowly. "With the king, our world crumbles. Without the king, our world will fall."

*The man hit the table with his had a laughed as he stood up straight, he pointed over at Snow.*

Man;"Truer words were never spoken my dear. However, what if we had the right person to replace our current lord? What would you say then?"

*After inspecting the map for a few seconds i turned and lent against the wall.*

Shiro;"I for one would ask who this person is?"

Man;"Lets say they are of noble blood and heritage."

Shiro;"Even so, why we would lay down our loyalties to the thives and crooks of this land? The symbols on the walls and locations marked on this map show what i guess to be all the current underground revolters like yourselves. Even before this new 'king' we were at war with you. Our loyalties may only be to ourselves now but my morals are still the same."

Man;"So tell me, what makes us so different now?"

Shiro;"One word, honor."

*The man scoffed*

Man;"Honor is a word without meaning in this day and age, It is a word without purpose in this world. Any fool that still belives in it is as niave as our former king."

*I raised my hand and pointed a finger at him.*

Shiro;"Another word about him and ill end you myself."

*I moved back to my seat next to Snow and looked at her.*

"What are your thoughts?"

I turn my head away from the men as they spoke and argue with Shiro. My mind drifted on to what can benefit our world. I look up at Shiro and shook my head. "Not many people know about honor but the ones that do can easily vision a world that is so much better than the one that we are living in right now." I turn to the man. "If we kill the king and replace the king with a new one, the new king will easily be assassinated. A good king in a world that runs with criminals and gangs will change nothing."

Man;"True a king can be assassinated, but who do you think controlls the majority of the assassins in this land? Us, we do. After land fell into chaos the clans of theives, assassins and crooks all came together to survive as one. With the king gone his army will fall into disaray and will make easy pickings for the people who wish for vengeance."

*He stood and made his way around the table towards us.*

Man;"It is true our people have never seen eye to eye, but even we can appreciate that this land is sick and in need of healing and while the king lives it will eventually die. If you accepct our offer, we have an army ready for battle that will be yours to command and lead against the king should you need it."

I glare lightly at the man, listenign to his words then I turn to Shiro. "What do you think, love? A dead king may heal the land but I do not see any garrenttee with that plan." I look down and cross my arms. "What he says about the theives and crooks are true but to kill the king, I don't see that helping the land or its people in any way. What do you suggest my love?"

"Nothing can be certain for now, a dead king will surely not help the land unless replaced by a person with nobel and honorable intent towards it. I for one would like to meet this person you claim to be fit for this position."

*The man smirked and flicked his rist at one fo the guard in the corner of the room. The guard took off into the tunnels.*

Man; "He comes now."

((OOC; How do you want to do this? Shall we bring in a 3rd person to play the 'new ruler' or shall one of us just play him/her? I honestly dont mind.))
