Josh rose at the crack of dawn. As always. And, as always, he picked up his two wooden swords, and went outside to the small training area. Standing there, as always, was the two chipped, cracked, plastic training dummies. Strangely enough, they were standing in the exact same position as they always were. Closing his eyes, Josh focused. Slowly, he raised both his arms straight out from his shoulders, swords in hand. As he was about to swing, he heard a sound behind him. Without changing his position, he subtly shifted his muscles and readied himself for combat.

Joseph, or as he liked to be called, "Stallion", woke up a little earlier today to see whether he could catch his friend Josh off guard in his early morning training session. He got up and threw on his most fashionable training suit, grabbed his wooden greatsword and headed for the training field, where he was sure Josh would be. After all he was there every other day. Joeseph, still half asleep, saw Josh across the training field. Feeling suddenly wide awake, he held his sword above his head and swung down with all his strength.

Listening carefully, Josh heard footsteps. An intake of breath. Acting on instinct he leapt to the left. Wrong way, as it turned out in the end. The sword in his right hand clattered to the ground. Swiftly spinning around, he brought his right hand over to his left and faced his foe.

"Oh, it's just horsey-boy."

Joshua rolled his eyes. Immature, as usual. Picking up his sword, he watched Joseph warily. "So, do you wanna spar or something, horsey-boy?" To illustrate his point, he flipped his left hand sword in the air, catching it by the hilt again on the way down.

“Wouldn’t be much of a match I would destroy you, but if u feel like bruises with breakfast I will give you a couple of big ones"

"Ah, but you'd have to hit me, now wouldn't you?" Josh chuckled a little. "You've never managed that one properly, now have you? Sure, it hurts when you do, but so does being struck by lightning. The trick is, to do it more than once in a row."

"Enough out of you, sure you can hit me but it doesn’t have any effect" then, trying to catch Josh off guard, Joseph flicks out his wooden sword aiming for Joshes chest, he didn’t expect it to hit but that wasn't the point, the point was to make the first move in their little sparing session that would no doubt turn into an all out, no holding back, battle before breakfast (queue dramatic music).

P.S. soz for the wording i was never any good at that

Joshua easily deflected the already badly aimed blow with a quick parry. Following through with his other hand, he swung low at Joseph's shins. At the same time, he channeled a small amount of Gaea into his swords, in case a quick block was needed.

After Joseph’s attack was parried he jumped over Josh's blow with all the finesse and grace of a mighty stallion jumping over a log in its path, then Joe swung his left arm around so his sword came up to the top of his swing, so he could swing down at the top of Josh's head as well as trying to punch Josh in the ribs with his right fist.
