((Really Sorry guys.... These past few weeks are really just living hell. Tennis is sucking. My wrist isnt helping any.. and my grades are falling. But Im back for good now. Dont worry.))

"Why do I need a doctor when you'r here?" Josh said playfully as he brought her closer to him. "You make everything go away anyways."

"Well I can be Doctor Kamerin or Nurse, Cheeseball." She joked as she hit his chest playfully. "So, were really going to move in together? Like are you sure about this. I don't want to move in and then you all of a sudden hate me." Kamerin told him concerned that he wasn't positive about this step.

"Hmmm... your choice..Nurses are usually the better looking ones." He said winking. "Yes. Im completely sure. I cant imagine not living with you now that the idea has been put in my head."

"Hmmmm...Okay you like Nurses. Head Nurse Kamerin at your service. And good because I really really want tto live with you. This is going to be the best. With my brother's moving here and then me moving in. Everything is perfect." Kamerin told him in an excited tone.

OOC: So wait, are we resetting some things, or keeping it the way it is? o_0

Let's not reset things for now. I'll give all characters a chance to close up the scene before moving on. Also, there's a new idea on the way so stay tuned!

If you guys don't mind I'll stick with my role as Trey. I'm sorry I've been M.I.A. but I've been going through some family problems. But I'm back.

((OOC: Sweeney, glad to see you back! I'd absolutely love to have you resume your role and pick back up where you left off. I unfortunately don't remember where that is, but good luck! Not a whole lot has happened, except for a HUGE decline in posting. Much of this is due to the fact that several members have stopped writing for this RP. I'm sorry to hear about your family problems, however. I hope all is well. Please let me know if there is anything I can do, or anything you need to private message me about.

To everyone else, I think it is necessary that we do another jump in time. Things are slow, and in my experience that is usually a great time to do a shift! So, here we go. I will describe the time shift, and you all can jump in as you see fit.

One Week Later:

It was a bright, sunny Monday morning, the sun rising over the tops of homes and buildings to spread its warmth. The snow still sat heavily on the ground and sidewalks. Despite the ice sickles hanging from roof overhangs, the air felt warm and enjoyable.

Cafe Amore was soon to open. The doors remained locked, waiting for the next employee to slip the old key into its lock, and ring the bell for the first time of many that day.

OOC: Halo it may be a while before I post after this, its not too private so I'll post the matter here: I am currently involved in a court trial as a key witness pressing charges against a man that tried to assault me; the charges being pressed also include pedophilia, sexual harrassment, child endangerment, etc. Anyway I've been really "out of it" lately and need some time to get back to being myself.

Kirstie had snuck out quietly from Kam's early this morning. She was still job hunting and luckily hadn't seen anything on the news about her being missing. A few days prior she had seen a small article in the back of the newspaper stating a growing missing persons case from her hometown, but that didn't mean it had to be her, did it? She'd been walking aimlessly around the town since six thirty, and currently it was nearing eight. Noticing the cafe she began to make her way over to it, surely its open by now, Meredith loves to get in on an early day. Reaching the sidewalk her question was answered; the lights were off, the sign was flipped, closed, damn. She didn't feel like gonig back to Kam's so she sat on the curb and gently pushed her sleeve up to pick at a fresh scab on her wrist from the prior night.

ooc// So, whitangel, our idea is still on, yes? When should we unveil it??? I'm really excited!

OOC: Thanks for giving us a bump, Kirstie! I hadn't forgotten about good old Cafe Amore, but simply felt at a loss for anything to write.

The following should be read by anyone/everyone hoping to continue to participate:

I, whiteangel, will no longer be taking part in this role play. I think it is suffice to say that Cafe Amore had had a good, long life. Perhaps one of the longest, at one hundred and thirty eight pages. It has been fun, many people have climbed aboard, and all in all I had the opportunity to write with and meet some wonderful people through the RP.

However, I don't feel as though this topic is perpetual enough to keep moving. It seems as though a majority of the major characters (oakstreetblues, mikeala, manXofXjazz, chewy) as well as AT LEAST ten others throughout the story have dropped Cafe Amore; many without the intent of returning. I'm sure you've notices that the lapse of time between posts is....well, quite lengthy to say the least.

On my part, as you have probably witnessed personally, I have made many attempts to revive the roleplay. I have private messaged inactive and slow members multiple times. I have pushed us ahead in days to keep the story line fresh and moving (the last time that I did this, someone I thought was gone returned, and then left again ><). It seems that despite all of my efforts, it will never be what it once was. Yes, this saddens me. However, I feel that it was good while it lasted. That being said, you all have several options should you wish to keep Cafe Amore alive:

1) Continue role playing in this thread, but know that I will not be moderating or posting at all. Instead, I will create a closing post for Meredith that sums things up on her part. Someone else can jump into the role of moderating the role play if they wish.

2) You can create a closing post for your character/characters and make it CLEAR that you no longer with to post here. I have spoken with a moderator who will then move this topic to Role play gateway's version of the trash.

3) Re-create Cafe Amore; part two if you will. I was private messaged by one of the members of this thread. Their idea was to create Cafe Amore Part Two: Ten years later. Basically, you write with your characters X-# of years down the road, create new characters, and invite new people to join! Or, you can try to re-create the same first version of Cafe Amore. I think that perhaps a reason that new persons aren't joining is due to the intimidation factor. I know I wouldn't even bother trying to join a RP that was beyond 10 pages!! XD

I'm sure there are other feasible options. Whichever you choose, I wish you all the best. It has been wonderfully fun to write with you, and I'm sorry that I have neglected this RP for the past few months. If you ever have a new idea that you think I'd be interested in, a PRP, or just want to say hello please feel free to private message me.

((Sweeney, perhaps you didn't notice that one of the options for this role play is to continue it as is. It is my opinion, however, that it needs a bit more to jump start it. I'm not ending it, but simply ending my part in it. I hope that helps to clarify! ))

((*raises hand* I believe you owe me for Amore 2!! I don't see this as the end of Amore, I see it rather as the beginning of the second story. Who's with me? And whiteangel, it was simply amazing to roleplay with people like you and Mikaela, and everyone else who made Amore what it is. Whiteangel, if you want, if you'd have Meredith come in on Amore 2 as a sort of 'guest star', that'd make everyone so happy...You're very welcome to join in the sequal anytime you see fit, seeing as how we all sort of see you as the mother of this (hopefully soon-to-be) long running Roleplay. ( Yes, murdochrouge, you were absolutely the idea behind the 'Amore 10 Years Later' project. Sweeney, I'd discuss with murdoch about creating the new RP. You don't need my permission, however, to get it started. I appreciate your kind words about myself being the 'mother' of Amore, so to say. That was very sweet and made me smile. I'm glad you've all enjoyed it so much.

If you'd like me to help you create a new topic complete with summary of this thread, rules, etc I can do that. It would be my absolute pleasure. And yes, perhaps Meredith will pay Amore a visit down the road. Let me know if you need me. )
