Harold huddled under a fallen chandelier, trying to keep away from the fight. Despite his racing heartbeat, Harold had managed to get a hold of himself, managed to take some deep breaths and calm his mind. He had no weapons, nor magical powers which could possibly subdue something as horrific as the giant wolf which now fought against beasts and devils alike. The only thing Harold could do was try to help the others.
Harold took a deep breath and he began to purr. He purred softly at first, but then with rising strength. The vibrations emanated from him, passing into the stones of the castle. As the castle began to purr along with him, the waves of soothing calm began to gently buffet the fighters like the lapping waves of a cool stream. The purring grew stronger and stronger, allowing the fighters to forget their panic, forget their pain, and think clearly. Harold hoped it might soothe the beast, Fenris. If not, though, it would at least allow the other creators and creations to fight with level heads and clear hearts.
