As AEthura walked through the door, her view of the city was replaced by colors swirling about violently. The colors ranged from those we see everyday to those never scene in her life, all swirling around. The view was mesmerizing, and as such, she did not close her eyes throughout the transferal process. As she stared relentlessly at the swirling enigma, she began to feel dizzy, and by the time she reached the ending of the swirling colors, she nearly was at the point of vomiting. Leaning on a nearby wall she tried to gather her thoughts. Although, she did say the door was similar to her 'gate', the process of transferal is entirely different. When being transferred using her 'gate', the process is instantaneous, and you would only see nothing for a mere millisecond as your eyes readjust to the change in scenery; However, being transferred through this door involves seeing a multitude of colors swirling about. By the time she had settled down, a few of the people gathered had begun to leave. But, before they left she managed to catch a glimpse of a tiger like woman. Utterly shocked, she stands there for a few seconds watching the hole in which she exited from, until the sound of thunder snaps her back to reality. Hearing the sound of combat, she decides to look outside and sees a few beings, for lack of a better word, fighting what seemed to her to be giant spiders. As she watches the battle, she hears a conversation taking place behind her.

"I wonder... would it be possible to enter the past from this place, seeing it does not exist in any era to begin with." she hears someone say. This made her tense up. "Could it actually be possible? If she were allowed to go back into the past from here, she could prevent the death of Elaina, or better yet, prevent her own exist..." but before she could finish the thought, she hears someone speak. “Tell me something, Zuri, what would become of you, if you went back in time and stopped that hunting party?” As she awaits for the answer she does not move a muscle, so as to not disturb the conversation.

Moments after Alanna reappeared in the streets of the Evercity, it was evident the spiders had a firm grip on this timeless city. The blonde woman glanced to her left, and then her right. Both ways down the street, it was covered with webs and ichor, thick sticky strands of silk that were draped across and between buildings, making movement by normal means incredibly difficult. The ichor was a sickly lime green in colour, and the mage could swear that she saw it move of its own accord out of the corner of her eye, though it was still when she turned to look.

The woman embraced Saidar, the life and power of the True Source, ever present even in this city of nowheres, filling her veins with a feeling of euphoria. Her senses were heightened, and to her left she heard the slow clicking of spider legs, and turning she beheld the first monstrosity she would encounter. It was a huge, bloated creature, its skin pitch black and dotted with vile boils and growths that stunk of disease and infection. Its clicking jaws dripped saliva and ichor, the acidic goo hitting the cobbles of the street with a hiss as they ate away at the stone.

"You're an ugly fuck, aren't you." Alanna breathed in disgust, her heightened senses recoiling at the smell of the beast.

Then it was upon her, launching its bulging body at her at a speed she would have judged impossible for a creature of such size. She barely had enough time to Step away to one of the rooftops, stumbling as she reappeared, she couldn't jump too frequently or she would lose orientation, and end up reappearing in a wall, which would undoubtably be messy. Joining two fingers together, she channeled. From the tips of those fingers, bright lightning arced, dancing through the air to strike the spider on the head as it scuttled towards her, its huge legs clicking on the ground. It recoiled in pain, hissing at her as a burn mark appeared on its head, but renewed its attack.

"Ugly and tough... I can tell I'm going to love your kind..." the woman muttered.

She channeled once again, this time unleashing a blossom of fire upon the creature, a fireball that would detonate on impact into a dozen smaller fireballs, that would arc around and strike it again. When the first ball impacted, the arachnid screamed in agony and staggered backwards, before shrieking again as the smaller fireballs hit it. Not pausing, Alanna struck out with Saidar, a cutting flow of air that sliced through the creature's body, splitting its head and killing it.

"Now... how to get these damn legs off..."

Soaring through the sky, Aiedai saw the creatures crawling from their lairs throughout the city. At various points, her fellows of FATE battled with them, she spotted the flaming skeleton take down a creature, the tiger woman aiding him, and several others. She saw a pocket of creatures scurrying over the buildings towards them, at least half a dozen of them. Smiling slightly, the winged girl began to descend.

The first spider didn't even see what hit it, as the aetheric entity dived from the sky towards it, her ever-sharp blade slicing clean through its skull and down its spine. Its five companions did however, and as Aiedai pulled Swan from the spider's back, she found herself surrounded.

That would not do.

Raising the hand that held Grace, her shield, she drew power from the Aether, silver white light enveloping her upper arm and swirling around her clenched fist in a beautiful display of power. The energy flowed down her arm and across to her other hand, till her entire upper body was enveloped in the white light. Sheathing her sword and strapping her shield on, Aiedai raised her gaze to the hesitating arachnids.

"What are you waiting for?" she asked them, her voice carrying to their ears and provoking them, even if they did not understand her words.

One of the foul creatures darted forwards, its jaws gnashing as it made for her neck. In a graceful movement, Aiedai brought her arm around to face it, and a blast of Aether energy screamed from her outstretched palm, burning the very air it passed through, and struck the thing head on. The blast went straight through its entire body, screaming out of the other side in an explosion of gore and bone. Not batting an eyelid, the winged girl spun, as if in a dance of some sort rather than combat, and swiped her arm at the spiders to her right, a curved arc of Aether energy streaming towards them, slicing clean through one's legs and decapitating the other. Now only two remained standing, and Aiedai drew her weapons once more, the Aether still flowing around her being.

"En guarde." she whispered, before charging at them,

As the charging eight-legged monsters prepared for their deathblows, the skeletal Skallagrim was busy preparing his defense. With a deft downward motion of the pulsating shield, he sliced through the sticky, gooey webbing that pinned his legs. As the web thrower closed, the swordsman ducked and rolled along the street coming to a crouching stance, the glowing sword flashed and carved into the extended legs of the creature, slicing them off at the articulated joints, causing the beast to tip and fall towards the Xindhi. Leaping backward away from the tumbling mass, a high-pitched chittering filling the air, Skallagrim barely dodged the wicked pinchers of the second creature, already wounded by a slice to its underside.

Raising his shield as a foreleg stabbed down at him, the inky pulsating black mass reached for the leg, enveloping the tip. A squeal erupted from the creature as it withdrew a smoking, cauterized stump, with a step into the beast the glowing sword flashed up then across in a deadly slice, deep into the body of the beast. The heat of the energy sealing the wound so no acid sprayed beyond the initial misting, which is absorbed by the shield.

Spinning away from the dying creature, the one on its back is frantically trying to right itself, yet it too was finished. The loss of legs would leave it vulnerable to its hive mates. Allowing the energies to flow from him again in a resounding thrum, Skallagrim moved close to the feline woman, the light in his eyes flared and illuminated her, reflecting off her dented armor.

"Come then warrior of fate, let us continue this war, and bring ruin upon our enemies." Rasped the Xindhi as he moved towards another pair of the massive insects, the crackle of energy around the skeletal being would cause the fur to stand on the feline, as a static charge would. Each step forward the prana flooded the area, washing over everything, feeding information to Skallagrim, every subtle inflection of the magnetic lines that crossed the world held a story, ready to reveal secrets if one were adept enough to see and understand the tale they told.
The writer who cares more about words than about characters, action, setting, atmosphere is unlikely to create a vivid and continuous dream; he gets in his own way too much; in his poetic drunkenness, he can't tell the cart- and its cargo- from the horse.

Before the wolf could reply, and before Kale could address one of the newcomers that had slipped in silently, a bluish glow spread about the ceiling. At once, the young man turned away from Zuri, looking up, then down as the glow dropped from above and began to pool in the center of the floor. Within seconds, a pedestal rose up from the glowing mass, and on the pedestal a globe. Strange writing skittered across its surface, odd letters that no longer existed anywhere else in the Multiverse.

He wasn’t certain how he knew the words that were created there, but he did.

“She has awakened,” he said, turning to the others still gathered in the room. “She knows of our gathering, and is even now seeking to stop one that has been called.” Since Kale had failed to pass out the books yet, he had to go by his instincts when selecting the few that would go to their brother’s aid.

“Marxan, Sibanan, and Shinn, I need you travel to these coordinates. There is a man called Kageyo there, and seems to be in trouble. Fate has set her sights on stopping his coming, and is at the moment writing out a new end for him. If we do nothing, her end will come to pass.”

Kale turned from the three, back to the globe, and waved a hand across its shimmering surface. At once, the pedestal fell in on itself, and from the liquid came a doorway, already open. It was nothing more than a dark blue frame, no door or latch, and seemed to break away into forever.

“On the other side is this planet, a place old and most likely dangerous. It will put you in close proximity to the man you are to rescue, but after that it will close. If you chose to go, you may not be able to return until whatever Fate has planned for him is destroyed, lest she track you back to this place. Will you go?”

The tiger woman watched the battles between the others and lifted her great blade high, her strength restoring inside her as she rushed forth again, the sheer power of will and a beastlike nature causing her to move with the ungodly amount of speed and power, the great blade hacking whole legs apart in a single great blow.

She did feel a chill, and a almost electric like current flow through the skeletal as her invited her to engage in the battle, a feeling that she couldn't help but to feel proud about.

The leather clad woman walked slowly towards the skeletal man, her healing energy adding in the mans regeneration process, pushing it faster by drawing on her own life energy. Where as the tiger woman couldn't feel the personal life she took away by the woman, the skeletal man was much more familar with the concept.

She smiled, and one hand went to the knives at her sides, "Let the three of us put a end to their suffering..." she said gently, as light shimmered on her blades.

Zurimono was not sure how he should answer that question. It caused him to truly think about it, bringing him to conclusions that he would never wish to even think. What if it became a loop, and time, at least for him, would be unable to continue. The same thing over and over, and he would not even be capable of bringing himself to comprehend what he had done. He would do the same thing every time, and the only way he could be saved would doom another. Would that not however, be an act of fate. If they had the ability to change fate then surely there was a way to counteract the negative effects of changing the past. Then even if it did not have those dreaded affects, he would not be who he is today. Would it be worth to lose what he had to gain back his family. He looked directly at the boy who had turned away to speak to the others, assuming he was still listening. "That... would depend. You stated we had the ability to change fate, would that not counteract to the possibilities of creating a loop or altering the present?" He was hoping for the answer that just about anybody in this situation would hope for, though subconsciously he knew he shouldn't.

Marxan had not gone out to the battle as he sensed that the boy had other plans for him. He had also been busy conversing with the worms on the situation. They told him to be cautious and wary about some of the new teammates. Especially the skeleton being. He seemed to radiate humongous amounts of energy that the worms had never seen before. It put them almost in a sort of haze. Since their thoughts were intermixed, Marxan sometimes heard the worms thinking about attacking themselves to the skeleton being and seeing what would happen to them as a result. Marxan had to punch himself mentally for this but he to wondered what sort of transformation he would undergo if the worm were to absorb some of the Xindhi's power. Perhaps we would become like the Xindhi in form, perhaps not. He truly did not know and would like to figure out.

As the rest of the teammates left, Marxan instead shot one of the worms towards one of the monitors that showed a view of the city. The worm ate some of the monitor and Freasin underwent a transformation into his electrical form. His skin turned bleach white while his hair turned jet black until it angled back almost 180 degrees. His eyes turned into the same jet black colour as did his lips. His outfit transformed into a tight black leather outfit with a lightning bolt cut out in the chest that showed his skin. The worm also began to glow white and give off sparks with their electrical power. His voice also changed. It attained a sort of static in the background of his voice.

When the transformation was complete. he gave off a brief flash of light then turned towards the boy. As he relayed the information and his as well as his teammate's assignment, Marxan bowed then sent small electrical shocks towards the boy. You see when his form changed so did Marxan's personality. When in his electrical form he and the worms attained a trickster personality. They loved to pull pranks on their opponents and friends alike. He then returned from his bow and said in a sarcastic tone "As you wishzzz my master. I will be there before you can say where is Marxan?" He then transformed into a lightning bolt and zipped through the door. When he exited the other side he was prepared for whatever monstrosities awaited him.

Before AEthura could hear them could finish their conversation, a bluish glow came from behind her. Out of curiousity, she turns around to see that the ceiling was emiting the light. The light began to pool on the floor and, within an instant, a pedestal arose from the glowing mass. On it, was a globe with strange symbols running across it's entirety. As she stares at the anomaly, a strange, gaudy looking, man clad in black with the words ‘BLOW ME’ written across his t-shirt in glaring white, walks towards the pedestal.

"She has awakened," The man, who she assumes was talking to a person called Zuri, begins. "She knows of our gathering, and is even now seeking to stop one that has been called. Marxan, Sibanan, and Shinn, I need you travel to these coordinates. There is a man called Kageyo there, and seems to be in trouble. Fate has set her sights on stopping his coming, and is at the moment writing out a new end for him. If we do nothing, her end will come to pass.”

Going by the mans words, she is referring to Fate? If that is the case then fate truly does exist; However, the way he is referring to Fate, seems to imply that Fate is trying to prevent us from gathering. She looks at the faces of the ones gathered in this room, who she assumes was brought here the same way she was, while some of them are similar to the tiger-like woman and others look like the humans from her world, none of them could be considered as normal. But, no matter how rational they seem, assumptions are just that, she would have to ask the one who seems to be the most knowledgeable, and as she turns her head towards the man once again, he begins to move.

The man turns, facing the direction of the globe, he waves his hand in front of the globe. The pedestal sinks into the glowing mass and from it, a dark blue frame of what seems to be from a door rises. As she looks at the glowing mass she becomes intrigued by it's capabilities. What would happen if the glowing mass touches human skin? She shakes her to regain her focus, and as she does this the man continues where he left off.

“On the other side is this planet, a place old and most likely dangerous. It will put you in close proximity to the man you are to rescue, but after that it will close. If you chose to go, you may not be able to return until whatever Fate has planned for him is destroyed, lest she track you back to this place. Will you go?”

She stares at the man blankly, the man just asked three others whether they were willing to be stranded on a, possibly dangerous, planet so they can save someone else. As she is not sure exactly what they were brought here for, she has no idea as to why he would ask this of them, let alone why they would accept this task. As she replays the situation to herself, a wolf-like man who, by the sound of his voice, she assumes asked the question of time travel, begins to speak. "That... would depend. You stated we had the ability to change fate, would that not counteract to the possibilities of creating a loop or altering the present?" Altering the present was expected but, creating loops, is something she is unsure of. Having only time traveled once and not changing the past whatsoever she wouldn't know the consequences of doing such. But, what's this talk about being able to change fate? Puzzled, she decides to sit down and think while she waits for the situation to slowdown enough for her to talk to the gaudy looking man. Seeing the dark red chairs, she sits in an empty one hoping no one would mind, before she goes over the situation once again, paying no mind to the strange electrical man.

Shinn heard the man’s request but was preoccupied with enemies of his own. The eight-legged monstrosity charged at him once more leaping forward with all eight legs spread apart hoping to crush him in one blow. Shinn easily dodged the spider by rotating his whole body sideways and thrusting his still sheathe blade at the enemy with force. The impact of his hilt into the spider could be hard by his ears knowing he had succeeded in breaking a few bones before it was launch back and lie there momentarily paralyze.

The spider stood back up seemingly unharmed and stood with the other spider who was its ally. They tried to ambush Shinn, but it was reverse against them as the man through mere tactics and intelligent thinking. Shinn grabbed hold of his hilt and stood in the swift draw position and rotated his body to a point where his left shoulder face the strange creatures. He breathed in slowly as he spread his leg apart crouching just slightly and reaching for the hilt of his sword on his left waist with right hand and the sheathe with the other hand.

Shinn waited for the right moment and it came when one of them try to attack by stepping forward. In a split of a second he had reacted as he rushed towards the spider and even before the leg could touch the ground, let alone letting the spider think, he had already unsheathed his weapon with lightning speed as two flashes of metal was seen and the sound of metal piercing against flesh was heard. "Strength can never overcome intellect...not that you have either in the first place..." He murmured as he sheathe his sword once more and walked away.

“You lost…” Shinn murmured as both spider collapses to the ground, the cut was clean so no blood had ooze and he had finished them before they could even yell out. Shinn was getting rather tired of facing creatures that he deemed unintelligent and enter the door without hesitation or a single word.

The last of the visible beasts falls with a resounding thud. A swirl of dust and ichors fill the street as a rattle escapes the bisected creature's thorax. Peering down at the massive black body, the symmetrical lines, and thick, powerful legs, Skallagrim allowed the energies to flow freely from his body to envelop the creature.

The thrum of power coursed through the small patch of world left that is Evercity, every disturbance noted and recorded as the Xindhi wiped his blade clean of the flesh of the creatures he had slain. His amethyst gaze finding the two who had been with him, the energies telling him others had survived the battles. Wheeling he looked at the feline woman whom he felt a strange affinity for and the other female whose energies rivaled his abet in a much different way.

"Come…we should find our brethren." With that, Skallagrim allowed the darshan to cascade from his body, creating a highly charged electro-magnetic field. Once he was satisfied with the equilibrium, Skallagrim began walking up towards the Caste where they had come. Each step caused a slight sizzle and spark as the energy field nullified the effects of gravity, allowing the skeletal being to walk on the air as if it were a solid mass.

Upon reaching the others, he paused a moment as a wave of prana thrummed and reverberated through the city, undetectable to any but those sensitive to such energy fluctuations. The threat was not done, somewhere in this city the mind of these creatures still existed, hidden in the deep shadowy places, yet undiscovered. Casting the illuminating glow of the amethyst energies at the boy, "What now child of fate? What now?"

The tiger woman seemed to relax finally, her body seeming to become tired as she quickly followed the skeletal man. Her face was filled with a expression mixing in with a bit of almost a ashamed nature, the scarred mouth moving as if whispering a prayer.

Still, her huge frame managed to keep up with the skeletal man, her eyes filled with curiousity, as if asking, "What now?"

Each heavy footstep sounded and echoed, forcing people to notice her when usually she did not wish for it. The armor, ragged and dented, shown with the blood of her enemy, and some of her own.

The leather-clad woman moved close, her own body feeling considerable fatigue.. those spider-like creatures had been devasting in their own right. It was sad event, to destroy those creatures.

Still, she kept her usual calm pose, and it seemed as if nothing had happened to her. She moved closer to the tiger woman though, as if re-assuring her.

As the doorway closed behind those he had named to rescue their future ally, Kale turned to those coming back into the Caste. He knew, without need to ask, that they had succeeded in ridding the City of much of the infestation, and that the arachnids would be long in recovering, which would give the members of FATE time enough to do what must be done before attacking the Core of the creatures’ complex underground caverns.

His violet eyes rested on Zuri for a moment, then continued past. He would have to address the issue of time travel and the repercussions, or possible repercussions, but would do so in private. With the thoughts that formulated in his mind about the probable outcomes of changing the past, he knew it would be an emotional moment for the werewolf.

Besides, with the Lady awakening to their actions, time was even shorter than he had hoped.

“Some of you may be tired, and there may be time to rest soon, but not now. With Fate becoming aware of us so soon, there are certain things we must set in motion if we are to have even a hope of changing the course of the future.”

From the floor lifted two globes, each outlined in bright green lights, rotating slowly four feet off the ground.

“These represent two worlds in the Multiverse, Caltani and Yuntki. Both of these worlds are on the brink of destruction; not by outside forces, but from within. They have been at war for centuries, not against each other, but civil wars that have decimated their populations. One thing each world has though, is an immense army.

“Upon Caltani there are three nations that have so far survived the Rosn Wars. Empire of Rosn is the largest of the three nations, and is in fact, as you may guess, the people responsible for the war. Their armies are comprised of an elite troop called ‘Shock Lancers’. These men and women stand seven feet in height, and wield six-foot long lances with the abilities to harness the natural element of lightning, create and channel it into the midst of their enemies. Those are the troops we need.

“The nations of Enz and Syrs have joined forces, and with their joining have a combined army that outnumbers the Rosn Empire three to one. Their armies are those of human-like creatures, though so devoid of emotion that they will willingly throw themselves at any enemy. Though they lack true power, they make up for that fact in numbers. The job of those traveling to this world, is to aid in the destruction of the armies of Enz and Syrs, and the procurement of the Shock Lancers, by any means necessary. Tomorrow morning these two armies will meet at a field called Bebl for the last time, and if something is not done, the army of Rosn will fall. Your mission will be to destroy the armies of Enz and Syrs, something that will in no way be easy.”

The globe representing Caltani faded slightly, though within the bubble could still be seen depictions of the world and its armies, marching toward an awaiting death. The other globe flared to brilliant life.

“The world of Yuntki. Here, as on Caltani, there are two nations at war. Upon this land though, they fight for the control of a certain set of caverns. Within the heart of these caves there resides a Great Dragon, legend has her silver in color, with wings that could span the stars, and breath that could turn a world to ice. Those, of course, are legends. In truth, Hienelta, as she is called, is the sole surviving dragon upon Yuntki, the only creature to survive the Purge. The nations of Pern and Aelin learned of her existence a decade past, it seems, and now wish to take her as their trophy, for with control of the sole dragon in the world, each believes they will gain control of all nations.

“What they do not know though, is that this lone Great Dragon is the last guardian of a cache of Hyber Eggs, which contain the bodies of her brethren, frozen in a state of eternal slumber. They are encased within eggs, and their numbers are unknown. Those of you who go there will have several missions;

“First, we must save Hienelta. Her knowledge and power will be greatly needed in the days to come. Secondly, we must bring back the Hyber Eggs. Before either of those things can be accomplished though… we must fight through one of the armies, and possibly fight our way out of another. Her magic protects the caverns from being entered through any means save physically walking, and that power extends for five miles around the sole entrance.”

Kale stops, taking a breath, and looks around. They had been together for only a short amount of time.

“I had hoped to have days, maybe even weeks, in which to gauge each of your abilities. It seems though, that those observations will have to be seen in action on a scale far larger than any I would have wished. As far as I can see, this will be our plan:

“Aethura, we have had no time to speak yet, so you will come with me. Zurimono, I know you still have questions, so you also shall join me. We will go to Yuntki and seek the Dragon. Skallagrim, I ask you to lead a second group to Caltani, and do everything, and anything, to secure the Shock Lancers. Once the enemy’s army has been destroyed, I do not know how you will persuade the Emperor of Rosn to release them to your command, but somehow it must be done. Tigeress and Alanna shall join you, and together I know you will be able to do what must be done.”

The globes shifted back into the floor, then rose once more in the shape of doors.

“These doors will remain open, but only visible and touchable to those who have been within the Caste. To those who remain here, be vigilant, in case we need support. Now, any questions before we part?”

Alanna, having created a gateway back to where Kale stood after slaying the spiders, grimaced. So she was working with the skeleton was she? She sorely hoped her first impressions of him were wrong, and that he wasn't one of the overly honourable, self righteous types who often got their heads cut off because they wouldn't strike at a woman/child/cat/pensioner.

Concealing a sigh, she stepped forwards and bowed her head to the young man, her blonde hair swinging as she flourished slightly "I shall ensure that the Empire of Rosn survives, and we acquire their troops. One way or another, it will be done." she said "I must take some time to study the magicks of this place at some point, they are unlike any I have encountered, yet seem familiar in a way." she mused, before turning to Skallagrim "Well then, hot-head - pun intended - lead the way, I am yours to command as long as this mission lasts." she said. Alanna might not like the Xindhi based on first impressions, but she had worked for people she hadn't liked many times before, and she had enough discipline not to let that effect her efficiency.

A spray of thick green blood splattered on the rooftop of the building Aiedai hovered above, and the first spider fell to the floor, a deep gash down its side incapacitating it. Even as the winged girl drew Swan clear of the thing's bloated body, the other was upon her, and only her swift reflexes brought Grace into the path of its deadly stinger before it penetrated her thin frame. As it was, she was pushed backwards towards the edge of the building, the spider advancing on her, mandibles clicking.

"You have no idea what you are dealing with, do you..?" Aiedai murmured, the corners of her mouth quirking in a smile even as she brought Swan upwards in a diagonal slash, releasing from the blade a wave of Aether energy that sliced through the length of the arachnid's body, splitting it in two.

"We challenge Fate itself, and you think to defeat us? Such blind idiocy..." the girl said, sheathing her weapon and turning back towards where the warriors were beginning to regroup. Flapping her wings, she sped toward them, landing just as groups were assigned and missions detailed.

"Fear not. None shall touch this place while I remain as a watcher, the Aether is at your disposal at but a call." she said, folding her arms and gazing out over the city. There she would remain, silent as death itself, till something drew her attention and required her input.

Re: Calling of Fate. [Location|Evercity] ( )

Zurimono listened intently as he heard of the two worlds and recieved the command to travel with Kale. The magic in this place was knew to him, orbs and then doors, no, gateways to worlds. He was only glad they were not departing to his own world quite yet, he wanted to avoid any further confrontation with that black wolf, though he thought he had killed it now, it would still exist in the past. The moment that Kale had asked if there were any questions he looked around for a moment and then looked towards him asking after a quick grunt, "Could anyone heal me quickly before our leave?". He hated to ask such a question, but he would not regenerate quickly enough to be prepared for battle. "Also, you have said a fair bit about the forces on Caltani, but you have mainly spoken only of the objective on the planet of Yuntki. Do their armies have any aspects in which should worry our party as we go about our business?" That was all he needed to ask regarding the mission, he would question about time travel during the actual mission, as he would not want to waste the time of others who may have questions regarding the mission.

Kale looked to Zurimono, nodding.

“I have no powers to heal, personally, but this place…”

He took a few steps toward the wolf, and then seemed to pinch the air before both of their bodies. At once several lines appeared, spanning from his fingertips out a few feet before fading back into the void they came from. The young man murmured a few words, then lines blazed for but a second, and then died away.

“Here, realities merge and can be re-written.”

He looked down at the wolf, his injuries now fading to memories.

“As for the armies upon that world… I do not know. I only know what is shown to me, what is important. We will have to find out together what we will face down there.”

The tiger woman looked at the skeletal warrior and her other companion, who she honestly thought looked much like a rag-doll. What use would she be if the world collasped, with a tiny body like that?

Still, the woman had a respect for the warriors of this world, for if the mighty skeletal man and the red and white cloaked woman were examples of the great powers of those around her, then there must be some reasoning behind her.

The woman merely waited, removing the helmet of the roaring beast, her face showing with sweet and her own blood mixed in with dark orange fur where her own muscles tore from the amount of force on her body.

Yes the woman had healed her, but the wounds still shown slightly, like the smoke from a fire-arm.

"Shock-lancers eh?" she said to the skeletal warrior, "Sounds like a fight worthy of us.. Still..." she looked at her hands with a questioning look. "Im not good at persuading anyone..."

The energies swirled and cascaded from the Xindhi as he listened to those in the room, more importantly he listened to the child. Casting a flickering, illuminating hue upon the form before him, the skeletal being bowed his head a moment, "Indeed child of fate we shall travel to this world, this Caltani and seek audience with this…Rosn Emperor."

Turning towards his companions he focused on each of the females in turn, his energies casting an amethyst pallor over each of them, "I shall allow you to speak on our behalf as my…appearance has a decidedly unique effect upon those who judge me by my appearance and not my deeds." His gaze lingered a moment before turning back to the child, "We shall do as you bid, if it is an army you seek, we shall return with one."

Summoning his mount he clambered aboard, again that pale glow cascaded towards his companions, "Let us ride then, through the whorls of time and space to find our good leader of Rosn and convince him that he should release these lancers to our command." A wicked laughter erupted from the skeletal form as the energies increased around him, causing a high pitched whine and a crackle and thrum of energy to fill the area before subsiding.

AEthura had been focusing on accelerating the reattachment of her left arm, listening only enough to get the gist of the man's explanation, and so it took her a while to realize that she had been chosen as one of the few to go. 'Great...' she thinks as she gives a small sigh. She didn't have much of a problem with the task, in fact, it would be great chance to take her mind off... what happened prior to her departure, and being sleep deprived should not hinder her severely; However, the problem lies in her left arm. It usually takes around a week for it to reattach itself completely and so, having only begun the reattachment a few hours before, the arm can barely move at the moment so she would have to, once again, cut it off. Although doing this would make her faster, she wouldn't be able to take out heavily armored foes as easily. But, her worries were for naught as the man, with but a few words and a few lines of light, completely healed the wolf's wounds. Regrettably, she would have to ask him to heal her before they set out.

Suddenly, the galloping of a horse could be heard. It was a skeletal beast with amethyst flames covering it's hooves and light piercing through it's eye sockets. The beast eased beside a figure. The figure itself was that of a human skeleton, with similar amethyst flames flowing around the skull. AEthura could feel herself tense at this nightmarish sight. As the figure mounted the beast it began to speak, though she did not understand what it said nor to whom, for she was far too concerned with it's mere existence. AEthura nearly jumped out of her seat when the figure began to laugh, while sending out energy giving off a high pitched sound in the process.

As the figure left through one of the doors, she began to settle down. After a few good minutes, she finally felt calm enough to speak. Lifting herself out of the chair "I will have to ask of you to do to me the same of which you did to the wolf, as my left arm is unable to move at the moment." She states as she grips her left shoulder, awaiting the man's response.

Kale watched as the first three left, the doorway closing behind them, but not sealing. Seconds after their presence retreated, Aethura spoke, requesting the healing that the Caste could offer. Without comment he turned to her, eyes closing as his fingers traced the air, searching for those energies and elements that would heal. Upon finding several lines he could use, he pulled them into reality, letting the strands settle upon the girl, and mainly her arm. With their connecting to her body, fatigue, pain, and injury would be washed away, almost as thought it had never been. He stepped back, looking from her to the wolf.

“Our turn. If I’m not mistaken, this door will take us into a set of foothills, though we will be behind one of the advancing armies. Make no sound, if you can help it.”

The young man pulled his staff from its place along his back and tapped the door with one end. The red-paneled wood swung open, revealing a dark landscape, broken by the light of several moons. Cautiously he stepped through.

Zurimono nodded, the healing powers of this realm amazing him. If they were to be attacked here, would they not be invincible? Though it would be better to take the battle to the Lady herself when they were prepared, he was only thankful he had not been picked off in his travels. That entity must be next to a goddess, if not one herself, and he found trouble in some demons he encountered, he did not even want to imagine what a divine being like that could do to them. His leader had then turned to him, speaking of where the door would take them and to make no sound.

Zurimono carefully slide his zeihander between his back and his shield, letting himself drop to all fours. He was far quieter walking like so then on two legs, humans seemed to be noisy when they moved to begin with. He silently followed Kale into the gateway to their destination, preparing himself for anything he may encounter.
