A'ight, I like to get this ooc stuff over as quickly as possible, so we'll quickly cover the setting and then the rules and then onward to roleplay!
SETTING
This roleplay takes place in the real world, sort of. Well maybe I should just tell you what it's all about and then you'll get it.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be stuck in a dream? Because that is basically what is going on in this roleplay. Its kind of hard to explain so I'll give an example.
Character A falls asleep, he's watched one two many 'Star Trek: Enterprise' episodes and is dreaming about piloting a starship through space.
Meanwhile Character B falls asleep, she has a quirky dream about her whole homedown being empty except for her and a weird monkey.
And Character C falls asleep, he dreams he can fly and is having ag reat time in a weird fantasy world.
It dawns on the characters that they've been dreaming a long time.
It further dawns on the characters that they are, in fact, dreaming.
About this time Character A's spacecraft crash lands and kills Character B's monkey, who runs off screaming and clings to the back of character C, pulling them down on character A's head.
About this time they realise that their dreams are linked.
Now that was just an example, but hopefully you get the point. I'm thinking to wake up characters are gonna have to team up and find whatever is trapping them in the dream world. (("Don't Dream In Color" further defines the 'dream world'. Writ by yours truly))
Now, since this takes place in dreams, your character is whatever they were dreaming they were. Lets have some fun with this!
RULES
No god-moding, no powerplaying
No R-rated content (nudity, sexual scenes or innuendo, heavy cursing or gore. YES, this means 'dirty dreams' are OUTLAWED!)
No homosexual (slash) content (K, I've been yapped up one side and down the other over this a lot of times. If you've got a problem, PM me, or find another roleplay that DOES allow it and join that)
Lets try to keep it at a 'literate' level (By that I mean your post should describe everything (thus providing information on everything) so that we're all in the know as to what is happening. Oh, and commas, periods and the lot aren't for decoration, loves.)
Don't ask to join
Any questions, comments, or crude remarks can be transferred to me through PM.
Lists are NOT acceptible
And here we goooo!)))

Bright colors swam before Leanne's eyes. Reefs of coral and gorgeous fish. She was swimming, underwater, she had been for a long time, and she hadn't gone up for breath yet. Apparently she could breathe down here. Laughing, she cut a corkscrew under a loop of corals, anemone, and other colorful, vibrant bits of sea life she coudlnt' identify. Maybe she'd dreamed them up, it was quite possible, she'd concluded a while ago that she was dreaming. And as she loved swimming without the burden of SCUBA equipemnt or having to go up for air, she was going to enjoy this as long as it lasted.
She seemed to be in some kind of bay. Large logs and a half a wrecked ship lay strewn about amid the reefs, and schools of bright fish eyed her curiously, they didn't seem to mind her presence, another plus.
Suddenly tired, Leanne - just 'Lee' to her friends - slowed her pace and sat down on a brown-green log. "There's a log in a hole in thhe bottom of the sea..." she sang to herself, noting in the back fo her mind that her words didn't have the wavey echo she usually got when she made sounds underwater. Odd.
She continued the song, humming as she looked about. Hadn't gotten to epxlore the ship yet, maybe she'd dot hat before she woke up. "There's a hole, there's a hole, there's a hole in the bottom of the sea....Hey!" Now there was an idea, maybe this was the bottom fo the sea. That'd be interesting, wouldn't it?
Jumping to her feet, she started swimming in a tight upward spiral towards the surface, if there was any surface. Her clothes trailed behind her. The outfit she'd dreamed up for herself was...well, nto something she could get away with wearing in the real world. It was a long blue shirt with long sleeves, tied around the middle with some sort of silver cord. She was wearing pants underneath, but no shoes.
The whole outfit was light, and didn't interfere with her swimming in any way, though she sometimes had to push her thick, loose brown hair out of the way.
Several minutes later she broke surface. If she'd thought anything above the water would be uninteresting, she was undoubtedly mistaken.
"Woah...." Green eyes gleamed with excitement. This dream had better last, her 'things to do before I wake up' list had just grown about five pages.
((I'll leave whatever it is Leanne sees on the surface to whomever wishes to dream it up, pun intended
