Castle Cadremus [Grimore] ( )

Postby Discipline on Mon Jul 13, 2009 12:52 pm

The Castle Cadremus is situated within the forests of Verlazon, upon the planet of Grimore. Grimore, naturally, is a rather magical-medieval planet orbiting around a red-yellow star, although it's slowly being shaped by its recent contact with other, more technological planets. It is nearly wholly covered with water, being similar to Earth in that sense, although the water is almost completely free of salt. Thusly, the fauna and flora within these waters of Grimore are very different from the familiar species on Earth.
Grimore's equatorial diameter is 8724.9 km, which is approximately 1.37 times larger than Earth's equatorial diameter. Gravity on Grimore is approximately 1.45 times stronger than on Earth, owing to both the larger size and a larger abundance of dense elements, such as osmium and iridium, also due to frequent meteor strikes.

But onto the Castle. It is surrounded by verdant forests for about sixty miles in any direction; despite its massive distance away from civilisation, it's considered the biggest center of magic of Grimore, and thusly acts as an impromptu capital. Closer to it lies a particularly wide moat, fed into by the Caelini stream. A drawbridge can be lowered and raised, and provides a rather fancy-looking entrance. The structure itself is perfectly square, and spans at least ten square miles. Most of it is just open air, although in each corner there is a Mage-Tower.

The north-east (north referring to the direction pointing directly opposite of the Castle's entrance) one is called the "Tower of Aqueous Magicks", the north-west one the "Tower of Aerosol Magicks." The other two are named the "Tower of Subterranean Magicks" and the "Tower of Infernal Magicks." It is unknown which one is which, as the two southern ones seem to change on alternate Tuesdays. Portals are normally found in the "Tower of Aerosol Magicks", although a few obviously-accidental ones are made in the "Tower of Infernal Magicks" every so often.

Besides the badly-named Towers, there are a few other things of note. As one may have realised, this is a mage-dominated Castle, but mages still need food and drink. Thusly, a growing population of farmers and water-purifiers have settled themselves nicely within the south-eastern quadrant of the structure, leading to a rather bustling economy and a rather active area where normally there should be none. An impromptu marketplace has been established in it, to aid vendors in selling their wares, whatever they might be, from gemstone dust to potatoes to the new and exotic delicacy called 'iced tea' by more modern newcomers.

The concentration of Magitons in the vicinity (5 kilometers from the walls) of Castle Cadremus is 5.36 x 10,000 per cubic meter. This is approximately equivalent to three pseudo-natural lightning bolts able to be 'created' for every cubic meter.

Trantor Super Dimension Fortress ship "Economic Negotiations."
Image
As the notice was dropped on the Trantor Economic Court number 10, the signs were clear. One of the recently repaired super dimensional ships, the Economic Negotiations, as well as three escort carriers were all prepped for takeoff. "So, we have the co-oridnators to this "Castle Cadremus?" An officer laughed, as the navicompuer crunched the numbers for Warp. "Taking off now, preparing to jump into FTL... in 10... 9... 8..."

The ship went into FTL, its Fold drive distorting time and space, as the 4 ship group took off, heading to the planetary system where Castle Cadremus was located. It would be a long journey.

The ship arrived, as the magiton sensors indicated unusually high levels of magitons. "...Odd, high magic levels, and powerful gravity waves scanned. Mobile Dolls and Elemental Super Robots would be best. Request permission to send over a squad for talks, and get team Nano on the horn. They are dealing with these negoations.

As the com officers waited for coms to open, an unusual ship, 300 meters long, broke off from under the SDF, the magical reactor spinning up particles for it to drive.

"Captain on deck!"

"You don't have to say that, Commander Lacen,"

"Captain Astrema, it is part of procedure, now get ready to take off..."

Within the courts of the Xindhi, the capitals of the Red Technocracy, UCON, and Trantor, and many other nameless nations appeared a peculiar message pinned to a wall;

To the Leaders of Independent Nations--

We, the leaders of Castle Cadremus, noted below;

Balinda Wright
Alphaeus Iratel
Ellana Normane
Orienda Tastir

As well as our available sub-generals,

Tyrelio Dofenson, subordinate of Balinda Wright
Gyrel Mendol, subordinate of Ellana Normane
Rish Mendol, subordinate of Ellana Normane
Rigel Lake, subordinate of Orienda Tastir,

--and the other inhabitants of Castle Cadremus invite thee to our humble facility for diplomatic purposes, involving but not limited to temporary and permanent alliance, trading agreements, right-of-way, technological exchange, and mere bondmaking for the mutual growth of all nations of the Great Vast.

Penned,
Grimore.

AL-HAZRED: DUN CAITSITH-

In the throne room, a swirling chaos of energies flared as several Xindhi discussed the note, seated above them in the massive basalt throne; Lady Drake thumped her skeletal fingers on the arm of the throne.

“Well?” She rasped as the noise seemed to die down enough for her to interject. “What of this Castle Cadremus?” Several of the Xindhi turned towards her, the energies in their eye sockets flared then coalesced to pin pricks, “We are not sure lady, we believe it to be a magical nexus, by the wording it is not technological as we reckon it.”

The dark lady stood swiftly, the plate armor flashed in the multicolored glow as she stepped rapidly down the steps and among her advisors. “Tell me, the Dreaming Queen, will she savor this experience? Will it allow her greater understanding of the multiverse?” Several of the counselors nodded, then an arch-druid spoke up, "Indeed milady but whom shall go to experience it?" Another nodded, "Yes it would have to be an envoy and not an Cughtagh or Aeryn, it must be one of the counsel." Lady Drake lowered her head, it was true, this was an offer of diplomacy, and as such only who had that authority could represent the Dreaming Queen. "I cannot go..." rasped the Dark Lady.

“I can go milady, I can be the great queens envoy to judge this Castle Cadremus.” As Lady Drake whirled to see who spoke, the others who stood around her parted slightly as Synjyn stepped from the gloom. Lady Drake peered at Lord Counsel Synjyn Drake, the crimson energies in her eyes swirled chaotically as she drew her self upright, “Of course Lord Counsel, I would expect nothing less than such a gesture. You shall have a Cughtagh and Aeryn to escort you.” The Lord Counsel bowed and raised a hand, “My Lady, I would be honored to have such along with me.”

Lady Drake turned and moved slowly back to her throne, as she sat down the other counsels moved to their smaller high-back chairs, taking seats as the Lord Counsel stood before them all. “I believe I am entitled to my own personal escort am I not?” Casting the brilliant crimson energies towards him, the glow increasing until it bathed the Lord Counsel, “Of course you are I suspect that the added power of a Cughtagh and Aeryn would augment your guards.”

Nodding then bowing low, Lord Counsel said, “Indeed they would, I accept and if you have no further need of me milady, I bid you my leave that I and my retinue may leave.” With a dismissive wave the Dark Lady returned to slumber as she framed the event in the holon for the Dreaming Queen to experience and understand.

CASTLE CADREMUS:

Mounting his great skeletal beast, Lord Counsel wheeled around and urged the dragon like beast towards the great slumbering gates, as he closed in upon the massive portal, the thunder of the Frostfire Knights escort as they rode forward, falling in step behind their leader, three-hundred strong. Once he was before the great horned one who kept eternal watch upon the dreaming gates, the Lord Counsel raised an armored fist, his voice echoed across the deathly silence that began to rush into the void left by the shod hooves.

“I shall experience this Castle Cadremus for the dreaming queen.” Rasped his voice, and even before the last syllable was uttered, ten riders broke ranks and formed a wall on either side of the armored knight. The standard carried by one seemed to shift as if by some wind, and then fell stiff as the rider ceased movement. The blue energies flared then shrunk to pinpoints of light, the impression of a smile settled upon Lord Drake’s visage.

With an almost imperceptible nod, the entourage moved forward, and through the great slumbering gates, following the thrum of the resonance laid out by the Aeryn Zamtha. Slowly crossing the vast distances, passing holons and worlds as a thundering shadow, a sudden and swift storm across the land, the Xindhi rode with a purpose. Children tossed and turned in their sleep, for a brief moment nightmares flooded their fragile psyche. Adults shuddered as they felt the shadow cross their perception; a cold chill rode along their spines causing the hair on their arms and nape to stand erect.

Castle Cadremus was before them now, the envoy and his companions felt the pull, the thrum was strong and vibrant, there was much to learn here, and they would partake in the understanding of this holon. Slowly the membrane of the holon puckered and stretched, a shimmering water-like portal appeared as the troupe broke through and touched the surface of the world, they touched reality once more. Before them rose the edifice known as the Cadremus.

The Xindhi rode forward; the chill winds whipped the banner violently before settling down thanks to the standard-bearer manipulating the wind with prana, creating a void space around the standard where the tempest held no sway over the honored device. Three hundred escorts for the Lord Counsel, accompanied by the Cughtah Belam and the Aeryn Zamatha, they rode forth from the forest and stood before the castle, waiting to be recognized and admitted as guests.
The writer who cares more about words than about characters, action, setting, atmosphere is unlikely to create a vivid and continuous dream; he gets in his own way too much; in his poetic drunkenness, he can't tell the cart- and its cargo- from the horse.

Two helmeted and armour-clad soldiers in front of the castle gates, each holding what seemed to be a quarterstaff in their hands, stared blankly at the incoming army of somewhat vague-looking humanoid forms. They began to shake as the visages of the strangers came into view, and within a few seconds of that ran, screaming and sweating a storm, into the gates... only to smash into the still-closed doors, headfirst. Both fell back, head towards the approaching host, and fell limply upon the ground, unconscious.

Within a few moments the sound of fast footsteps could be heard, getting closer to the Xindhi. The sound of distant bells could be heard, for whatever reason...

"Oi! How many times have I told you to stop playing that damn thing?!", yelled a distinctly male, yet not too deep, voice.

Abruptly the chiming stopped, and the gates began to open inwards, slowly but cleanly.
It took approximately two minutes for them to recede fully on their oiled hinges, and when they finally stopped, fully back like a door slammed open, a lone form of seemingly average height came in view. A hood covering his or her face prevented the discerning of the features upon said face. A hand swiftly reached up and pulled the hood back to reveal a somewhat dishevelled mess of short, greyish-white hair and a slightly caustic-looking but otherwise neutral face.
The male-- for he was clearly so-- coughed once into a balled-up fist and yelled to the horde as politely as he could in the most-used inter-planetary tongue, somewhat aware that these were some of the extra-Grimoreal people the leaders of the Castle had invited:

"Welcome, you who have no doubt travelled far to reach this place. Welcome, you who represent the leaders of your respective nations! Come in at your leisure."

The Technocratic response was unimpressive; one command cruiser, shaped like a gigantic ovaloid with three engine prongs extending from the back. The vessel took position 400,000 kilometers overhead in High Planetary Orbit and waited. Out of boredom, the onboard mentality hailed the Trantorian vessel and requested, "either Chess, Go, Chinese Chess, or Machine Conversation.

The Persovet III, personnel shuttle of General Mikhail Abramov, launched from space without a hitch. It preformed a totally standard reentry and landed ten kilometers off from the castle proper.

General Mikhail made a big splash. He approached the Castle's enterance riding atop a disarmed AAU; forty-five by twenty by twelve feet of pure killing prowess hummed underneath him. As if out of concern for the local flora and fauna, the "pacifist", better known as "castrated" AAU hovered above the treeline for the duraction and only dropped to the ground as it entered the field surrounding Castle Cadremus.

Mikhail's assisting mentality, Alexander, moved his field avatar beside the general and remarked via neural link, "Xindhi." The General nodded silently and thought, "Our Friends, Alexander." The ethereal creatures' strange appearances were the last thing on his mind; he smiled blithely and felt endorphins flood his brain. The Xindhi were nothing compared to Alexander's field avatar after combat.

"Give our friends a welcome!" shouted the General over his voice-link.

"Hail Xindhi!" chanted the congregation. All one-hundred-twenty men smacked their open left palms into their solar plexus in unison. The sound was akin to a collapsing bell tower; sixty slaps against flak vests, forty against metal, and twenty ringing clangs. The General topped this off with a bellowing RAAAH!

Hopping from his position with ease, the General spryly descended the twelve feet of hand grips and jogged over to the presumably dismounted Lord Counsel.

"Hello, friend of the Technocracy." said Mikhail. He halfway extended a limp Mylar-gloved hand; prior reports told him the Xindhi understood human culture. Alexander's avatar floated motionlessly beside him.

Alexander's thinking ran in counterpoint to the General's jovial actions. Retinal camera footage streamed from Mikhail's ansible node and into the mentality's processing banks; the Xindhi and unknown were a threat to him. Active targeting sensors pinpointed key figures in the crowd, passive sensors kept tight watch of the surroundings, and the avatar drone funneled power to less-lethal electromagnetic disruptor systems

Now the mage team landed, their ship landing in a small field, as a series of transports, one bus and two SUV style vehicles driving from the lower bay of the ship. “Captain, are you sure you should be driving?” one Amile Lacen asked William Astrema, the man driving on the path that lead up to the castle’s walls.

“A Good captain always makes his crew rest,” he said to laughs, “Besides Commander Lacen, you should worry about keeping your staff active.” The woman smiled, her outfit the standard Trantor Mage combat uniform, with her shoulder patches showing her commander rank. Other members of the team were on the bus, which finally made it to the castle.

After much work going up the stairs, they all bowed to their hosts. “Hello there,” Amile said. “We are the Trantor 203rd Mage Division, and we wanted to formally greet our hosts, and possibly open trade between our people. “ The woman was friendly yet upright, as the group bowed to the Red Techonacry and Xhindi people.

“So this is a Xindhi,” William said, “Its my first time to meet one… their power…” he said, feeling them from within his own Linker Core, “Is amazing,” while one of the androids asked, “So, is this the power of Magic?” The android was not able to see like the mages were, but it was still an unusual sight, as the few guard robots and mages all stood in awe of the Xindhi race.

And so the greetings begin:

"Welcome, you who have no doubt travelled far to reach this place. Welcome, you who represent the leaders of your respective nations! Come in at your leisure."

"Hello, friend of the Technocracy." said Mikhail. He halfway extended a limp Mylar-gloved hand; prior reports told him the Xindhi understood human culture. Alexander's avatar floated motionlessly beside him.

“Hello there,” Amile said. “We are the Trantor 203rd Mage Division, and we wanted to formally greet our hosts, and possibly open trade between our people. “ The woman was friendly yet upright, as the group bowed to the Red Techonacry and Xhindi people.

Lord Counsel Drake allowed the prana to flow freely from him, washing and cascading in swirls of energy around each of those present. It was always a surprise to see the Red Technocracy, they seemed to be a most interesting people, always in places where they would be least expected.

Still astride his great skeletal beast, Lord Counsel nodded towards the representatives of the castle, his voice rasped eerily and carried, augmented by the drashan, which he manipulated to thrum the sonic waves to carry to all present so they may hear clearly. “We are honored to be invited to this meeting.” Turning towards the Red Technocracy the blue energies flared brightly as he paused a moment before continuing.

“Hail and well met friend of the Dreaming Queen, it is a delight to meet those whom we call friend attending these meetings.” Synjyn said in a loud, projected, and suave voice, as he spoke he bowed and cast a salute towards the troopers whom had saluted the Xindhi contingent. The energies flowing from him framing and recording each moment, each person, and each entity present so that the dreaming queen could see and understand the event as it played out.

The last group, the Trantor surprised him, he had been at the HUB meetings and had the distinct impression that the Trantorians seemed equals to the Red Technocracy, this new factor of a magic component gave him a moment’s pause. After a second, Lord Counsel slid from his mount, which promptly vanished, into a swirling chaotic mist of blue energy. The three-hundred knights also dismounted and their mounts vanished in a hypnotic display of colors.

Taking a step forward, Lord Counsel Drake peered at the woman who spoke, “Greetings woman of Trantor, we are the Xindhi. I am Lord Counsel Synjyn Drake, emissary of the Dreaming Queen. It is our pleasure to note the expanded scope of the Trantor peoples.” The energy in his eye sockets dimmed to pin points as he cast his gaze at the others who had come forward with her.

Turning back towards the others, the Xindhi rasped, “We are delighted to once again be invited to a meeting where trade and peace may be discussed.”

The knights stood silently, the wind whipping the bright banners gently, it seemed to any whom saw the event as if an army of dead had risen and waited patiently at the gates of the grand castle.

"Thank you Xindhi,: said Mikhail in response to Synjin's comment.

Stepping away from the handshake, Mikhail turned to his host and respectfully bowed. "Indeed, it's an honor

Trantor. The general inhaled deeply, desperately trying to main his composure. He had expected them, but his revulsion for their methods welled up inside as he encountered them in person. Faking a saccharine smile, he gave them a technocratic salute and said, "It's... interesting to see you here, Trantorian," before rudely turning away.

Alexander chipped away at his conscience, repeating "Mikhail! Mikhail! Mikhail!"

"Excuse me," stated Mikhail. He "blanked" for three seconds, staring idly into space. "Alexander, shut and take whatever defensive precautions you want. NO preemptive or defensive actions. Only reply if fired upon."

The mentality expressed disdain the best it could, projecting the feeling to Mikhail. "Understood." Alexander quickly rallied the defense contingent and electronically hijacked the AAU. The sixty skirmishers spread out in groups of six and stood watch. Their adaptive camouflage LCUs blended flawlessly with the forests, reducing them to shimmering silhouettes. The twenty heaviest troopers maneuvered their panoplies into a loose semicircle around Cadremus. The forty men split off symmetrically; twenty followed behind the General while twenty hung idly near the unarmed tank. The AAU itself completed a ninety degree turn, facing its side towards the castle.

The General rolled his arm forward, cuing his guards to advance. "We, shall we enter?" He posted the question to the attending delegation, and stepped onto the draw bridge with metal soled boots. The rhythmic clanking of powered armor followed behind him.

Rigel, sensing suddenly that the mood of the newcomers had abruptly changed, grimaced for a second at the badly-hidden belligerence between the different nations, so it seemed.ner
He berated himself for the slip a second too late; his facial expression had changed long enough for them in front of the Keep to notice. Adopting the previous neutral, naive air from before, he faked a too-big grin and talked again, in a higher, slightly more frenetic voice;

"Well, let's not tarry!" Accompanying the sentence with a weak gesture to the inside of the Keep and a high-pitched, almost girly giggle of nervousness, he continued: "There's much we'd like for y-you to see, if you wouldn't mind waiting in here before the rest of y'd-- the nations get here." Laughing even higher, he pointed with his left arm's index finger outstretched towards the Tower of Aerosol Magicks, although of course none of the people would be able to see it.
Nor would they notice, of course, that no one was farming the fields, and that the said Tower was almost literally jam-packed with people. Out of the arrow slits in the Tower, facing both outside and inside the Keep, poked arrows, sometimes two to a hole.
It was that sight that he fervently hoped the outlanders would not see, because he personally was not thrilled at the idea of having uncomfortable diplomats.
He, Ty, Gyrel, and Rish had enough on their minds taking care of the Generals.

"I sometimes wish that we could have more conventional ambassadors. It seems such a waste of time to attend all these meetings ourselves, I think I will present this matter to the High Seat when we return." Larelle Tyrus said from her position on the bridge, watching as the planet on which Castle Cadremus stood grew steadily closer. Larelle was a dark skinned and black haired woman, her wings a pale grey, presently folded against her back.

Her companion, a dark blue haired young man nodded "It is rather inconvenient, there were several matters back on Meridia that required my attention, but we were whisked off to go to this mysterious meeting at such short notice I barely had time to delegate them to others." he said, shaking his head. Though Tyrion Kae'ran was young, he had a sharp mind and a quick wit which had earned him a place on the council beside more senior members such as Larelle.

"My Lord and Lady, we are entering the planet's orbit, estimated landfall in fifty seconds." the Captain said, bobbing her head to them before turning back to her post.

"Well, Kael my dear, it seems we will shortly be greeting this 'Castle Cadremus'." Larelle said with a sigh "Hopefully it shall be pleasantly straightforward."

Kael chuckled "It never is though is it, there is always some complication or another."

----------

Several minutes later, the pair were approaching the Castle itself aboard a light travel craft, accompanied by forty assault infantry. As the craft approached the castle gates it slowed, lowering to the ground and setting a staircase down, from which Kael and Larelle emerged, followed by their troops and the accompanying officers. They made their way to the gathering, knowing they would be relatively unknown except by reputation, having had no contact with any of these factions as of yet, though ambassadors would soon be approaching some of them. "Greetings." Larelle said "I am Larelle Tyrus, and this is Tyrion Kae'ral, we are members of the Meridian High Council, and representatives of the Ahrian empire, our High Seat Ahkmen Teladrin and the High Seat of all Ahria, Auraya Moranis, we bring greetings from our people and wishes of goodwill."

Aboard Diplomatic Ship: Areala

A worried Ibrex Stood aboard their ships main bay, speaking her concerns."Captain are you sure that it would be a good idea to just walk into there conference? I mean sure, we're a sentient race just like the rest of them but none of them know us..." The captain cut her off " Which is exactly why we must introduce ourselves in a proper manner, we may be a dominant race in our system but, it can't be helped that we'd be discovered eventually, Besides we don't want any quarrels over our Planets and systems do we? An early alliance is better than a festering hatred" The captain said pressing a small white button on his headpeice, "Preparing to teleport to Castle, Representatives Larel and Seria follow me to the surface, we have some freinds to meet" The captain said releasing the button. He proceeded to exit the main bay and sound of beeps and buzzes from there computers left his ears. He re-appeared inside of a small hallway with a door marked "Cheif personel only" As he approached the door slid open to reveal 2 other separately colored Ibrexs inside along with a large machine in the center of the room and large super computers circling it, the Ibrex to his left being of a rosey color, whilest the one on his right was a dull green. The rose colored Ibrex walked over to the computer's keyboard in the back of the room and typed in several commands. When the final button was pressed the large machine in the center of the room started to come alive. The three Ibrex's closed there eyes as 6 laser rotating pointers created a lrge hole like portal in the center of the machine, creating a portal for them to walk through right in thin air. The captain took a step first, whilest his 2 accomplices followed behind. The captain paused and turned around "Now we are going to be dealing with advanced races from all over the vast expanse of space, our succes is required less we want to make enemies and death for our kind. Now let's continue" the captain said, taking the first step through the portal.

Castle Courtyard

A small floating light appeared in the center of the walkway, spreading untill it's height became of 7 feet and it's width becoming 4 and a half. Basically becoming a shining white rectangle. The 3 Ibrex's appeared from it, too see the courtyard swirling with mixes of brilliant swirling colors and walking skeletons, each having a different color as an aura. "remarkable" was all the three of them could usher. All 3 of them paused for a moment before continuing to walk forward into the Gates of the castle. None of them spoke the tongues of any of these new species, but whenever they were present with a new species they spoke using telepathy. There words becoming easily recognizable though it compared to there spoken version.

When they finally arrived to the gates they noticedthat several guardsmen seemed to be taking a snooze or knocked out, The rose colored Ibrex reached out with her mind to the 2, she got no response, meaning they were unconscious. She gave a nod to the Green ibrex who then continued to walk up to the pair, Looking them over with his 6 eyes, scanning there bodies over. He gave each of them a pinch on the base of there spines and both of them awoke. Shocked and slightly confused as to who the 6 eyed race was. The green Ibrex gave a small smile, whilest the captain and rose colored Ibrex gave a salute to the other guards in the area who decided to leave there companions lay.

A small hum emanated though the air as the 2 of them began to speak with there minds, each word coming clearly through to the guards. "We of the Ibrex species would like to partake in this gathering of Spacial powers, I Yethera Zarlereth, captain of our Specie's Royal fleet and my Accomplices Larel Derinial, and Seria Areious. Are ecstatic in being in your prescences." The captain said looking to his accomplices as he spoke there names and then back to the greeters when he finished speaking. Waiting for there response.

Amile bowed at Lord Council Synjn Drake, saying, “Thank you, I have always wanted to meet one of the races Ryand was enamored with,” she started, “May our meeting bring about great profit, and gains for all.”

William was more focused on matters of security, silently laughing as he noticed the arrow array. He using the private coms to mention, “Arrows? Even if it was Archer or Shiro it wouldn’t be much of a threat, but it might have some sort of kick,” as the man walked with Amile inside the Castle walls.

“So I see, is this one of the larger kingdoms on the planet?” he asked his hosts, “I didn’t get to have my team scan the world, and I noticed no farmers, is it all powered by golems?”

William was curious as how the residents of Castle Cadremus fed themselves, as the technology level seemed very low tech, but they somehow made it to the Trantor commons… interesting, all around interesting.

Before the Lord Counsel could take a step further a disturbance along the pranic field told him that there are more guests coming. As the first pair appeared, the Xindhi stared at them mentally counting the seconds until with a subtle flash of light appeared heralding the second set of new arrivals.

"I am Larelle Tyrus, and this is Tyrion Kae'ral, we are members of the Meridian High Council, and representatives of the Ahrian empire, our High Seat Ahkmen Teladrin and the High Seat of all Ahria, Auraya Moranis, we bring greetings from our people and wishes of goodwill."

"We of the Ibrex species would like to partake in this gathering of Spacial powers, I Yethera Zarlereth, captain of our Specie's Royal fleet and my Accomplices Larel Derinial, and Seria Areious. Are ecstatic in being in your prescences."

After both sets of visitors finished their greetings, Synjyn, never one to miss an opportunity to meet new races, stepped forward quickly between the two groups, the energy flared from his eyes casting a pale blue pallor upon both sets of diplomats. “I am Lord Counsel Synjyn Drake of the Xindhi.” He rasped as he extended his arms towards them in what he hoped they would perceive as a welcoming gesture.

However he was clearly aware of the effect that the frightening image the skeletal beings seemed to have upon the younger races he finished, “I bid you welcome to this meeting held by our hosts.” With a bow of his head he turned and followed the others into the grand foyer of the castle, it was turning out to be an interesting collection of races. The eternal dreamer would relish this moment as Synjyn framed the event in the holon memory. The images of the new races locked firmly so that all Xindhi would know and understand them as the day went along.

“I am Lord Counsel Synjyn Drake of the Xindhi.”

A small smile crept across the Ibrex crew as the Xindhi Diplomat greeted them. He seemed a bit different looking, compared to the other races, but much more interesting and unique. The aura which erupted from the skeletal embassy was what captured the captain's attention the most. The lights whirling and dancing though out the room with an aurora of magic.

"It's a pleasure to meet you." The Captain thought out with a slight mellow tone, the Skeleton giving a gesture that looked as he were about to grab the Ibrex, but it wasn't fear that seemed to fill his mind, but instead a warmth and a small feeling of enlightentment. He liked this creature, this species, he could tell that for sure. His comrades both looked at him both with a smile and a nod which he returned in equal eagerness.

The trio continued to walk into the main hall which was filled with large ornaments and many ancient and wonderful looking items, a large table filled the center of the room, Crimson drapes with brass and gold rods covered the windows with the faded insignia of a roaring lion on it. A large fireplace was the only thing lighting the room, Giving it a warm glow with the warm tapestries. Sparks danced through the air along with the smell of the Aged wood that made up the table. A Warm feeling was the overall presence. It wasn't like the cold steel of his ship, but it calmed the captain and it's crew, a low thrumming emanated from there throats... Harmony.
