Blaise sighed. "Rub two sticks together, I don't know." He searched through the materials until he found a fairly sharo rock. "Nothing's wrong with not liking blood, it's just I thought it was funny to watch you freak out." He grinned boyishly. "You might want to look away, I'm about to cut into this thing.' Without a second to react, Blaise shoved the rock into the belly of the boar and sliced upwards, hitting the sternum, he broke it with the tip of the rock then got to work on gutting the thing.

"Funny? I'll make you freak out then." Chantelle picked up two sticks and started rubbing them together. Luckily, sparks appeared and she blew on them. Grinning she shivered as the heat hit her. "This fire better last." She murmed. "We have a warm fire and it's still cold! What the heck?" Chantelle turned to him, at the wrong moment. He was gutting it. Her hands flew over her eyes and she turned back around. "Ew." She winced, slowly lowering her hands.

Blaise chuckled. "I told you to turn away." He smiled as he finished up then walked over to the water to wash off his hands. "It's still cold because you have to give it a little time to heat up." He smirked. "Like a fireplace, it doesn't just instantly fill the room with warmth, you gotta give it time." He sighed and sat down next to the fire, the flames casting a soft orange glow over his face. "Did you loose your appetite by seeing the pig?" He grinned.

"No. I did not lose my appetite." She frowned at him. "I hate the cold." She muttered, standing up and wandering over to her wetsuit. Chantelle slipped it on and did it up, sighing. "This wetsuit, isn't that wet any more." Chantelle sat back down and undid her hair, it falling down instantly. "Now..I'm a little warmer."

Blaise sighed. "Well so much for my show." He grinned and looked over his shoulder at the pig. "Well, I guess we can cook it now if you want." He rubbed his hands together. "Bacon or pork chops?" He asked,a smile on his face as he licked his lips. "As long as we get this thing cooked right, I
m sure we won't get any life threatening diseases." He joked chuckling a bit.

"You werent going to get one anyway." She sighed. "Bacon please." She grinned. "Do we need to use a big stick to put it on the fire? Or do we wrap it up in leaves and place it near the fire?" Chantelle asked, curiously.

Blaise shrugged. "I guess we cook it like hotdogs, over a fire." He grabbed a few small sticks and cut pieces of the pig off then made a makeshift stand to rest the sticks with the meat on it as they cooked. "Now, we wait." He laid on his back and looked up at the sky. "I don't feel stranded out her, I actually feel as if this is a vacation." He sighed. A vacation I might never return from. He shuddered at the thought. "So, tell me about yourself, I'm bored." He cast a sideways glance at Chantelle.

"A vacation seems like fun...pity we aren't on one.Think they've realised we've gone? Maybe they ha-..." Chantelle trailed off, quietly."You want to know about me? Nah..I want to hear about your exciting life.You go first." Chantelle sighed, flopping back onto the sand.

Blaise didn't want to think about if they have noticed they were gone or not yet. He chuckled. "My life isn't too interesting. My mom died when I was eight. Tuberculosis." He sighed. "She was great, I don't remember her much but my dad constantly sais she looked like a movie star. We don't have very many pictures of her. Just one really, in our attic of her and my dad."Blaise paused. "My dad became a drunk after mom died and I had to look after him. My grandparents come over once a year, around christmas and bring fruitcake." He shuddered. "They smell like mint toothpaste and and denture cream. I love them though." He sighed. "I don't have any siblings but I kind of wish I had a little bro to look up to me and say 'Wow, I want to be like my big brother.' Because I know he wouldn't say he wanted to be like my dad." He smiled. "I have a dog named Buck. Big old st. bernard. The only pet I've ever had." He chuckled. "That's enough of my pathetic life, now let me hear about yours."

"Pathetic? Your life isn't pathetic." Chantelle said quietly, staring up at the sky. "Are you sure you want to hear about my life? It's not all brillant and happy." Chantelle warned him but she diddn't start explaining about her life. She just stayed quiet.

Blaise chuckled. "Do you think my life was a big bowel of sunshine? I just spilled about my life, come on. Tell me." He smiled. "Admit it, my life has been pretty pathetic besides being surf king 3 years in a row." He looked over at Chantelle, waiting to hear her story.

Chantelle sighed. "If I must." She paused and took a deep breath. "I've lived in an orphange all my life. Apparently my mother was only seventeen when she had me and dropped me at the orphange door. I never had any pets and I don't think I'm going to get any. I've always been the 'baby' of the orphange considering it turned into an teenagers only orphange when I turned thirteen and I've always been the smallest...and immature ..sometimes. But Mrs T, the lady that runs it is really nice and so is Mr A..the other guy that takes care of us aswell. And then one of the older guys got into surfing..and I wanted to try it out. So I became really good at all..I still live at the orphange..and yeah. That's my life." Chantelle explained quietly.

Blaise sat up and looked at Chantelle. "Thats...sad." He sighed. "I can't say my life is worse. That's for sure." He rotated the sticks then sighed again. "Okay, enough with this bummer crap, we're already stuck on an island together, we don't need to be all mopey to add to the knee deep shit load of a mess we're in." He half grinned. "Food's almost ready."

Chantelle sighed. "The food..smells nice. So..what are your hobbies? Apart from surfing of course. And hitting on girls." Chantelle manged a small grin. "I'm sorry. I've been so attidudey..." Chantelle said softly, moving closer to him.

Blaise chuckled. "Is attitudey even a word?" He smiled and handed her one of the sticks then grabbed one for himself. "I like to play piano." He said taking a bite of the meat and chewing on it a bit, savoring the flavor. "I played baseball for a few years but dropped it. I love the sport though. Never was a big fan of football." He smiled. "And astronomy. I love learning about the stars." He looked up and grinned. "It let's you know just a little more about what we don't know." He chuckled. "If that really makes any sense."

"It is now." Chantelle took a stick and thanked him for it. Quietly chewing on a bit her eyes lit up. "This is really good." She commented. "It makes perfect sense." She said, chewing on a little bit more meat. "This may sound unbelivable but I'm an avid movie watcher. My collection is massive. And I like musicals, acting and writing.." Chantelle trailed off quietly, chewing.

Blaise smiled. "And I love cooking." He chuckled. "Acting?" Blaise smiled. "What's your favorite thing to act out?" He bit off another piece of meat and grinned. "Can't say I've ever met an actress before." Blaise looked at Chantelle. Just that morning, they were pretty much enemies, competing for a surfing contest. Now they were almost like friends. He smiled and leaned back on his elbows as he ate.

"I love cooking aswell!" Chantelle beamed. "Umm scenes from Fame and any sort of musical.OOhhh and Ever After. Which is like the best movie in the whole world." She chewed a bit more, smiling.

Blaise raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "Your different from the girls I usually talk to." He sighed and grabbed another stick. "Chicks who have their nose shoved so far up their ass that they can't tell if their shit don't stink or not." He laughed. "That's usually the type of girl I get stuck talking to." He closed his eyes for a few seconds, realizing he was getting a bit sleepy. "And those are usually the girls my buddies try to hook me up with." He muttered then rolled his eyes.

"Is different a good thing?" Chantelle asked him, laughing at his ass comment. She finished off her stick and moved closer to him. Chantelle started drawing things in the sand, with the stick. "At least you've got buddies." Chantelle said quietly, still drawing. "I mean..sure I have but they are just there because they are there.
