*This is a Private Roleplay between Maddenbaby and I*

Emily Jenkin's slapped her hand down on her alarm clock. She stretched before she sat up in bed. She was grateful it was a Saturday, she had some time in the day to look through some ad's for jobs or what not. It wasn't so much she had to have the job, but she liked to be occupied with things other than school. Her friends were amazing, but she still wanted to be able to go out there and earn her own money even though she basically had an unlimited resource from her parents. She changed from her pajamas and turned her laptop on before she walked down stairs for breakfast.

She quickly returned to her computer, she got onto her myspace account and was surfing around until she hit an ad. Emily's interest was instantly perked up as she read through it. It wasn't tempting, for the money at least, but the challenge of taming down this wild teen seemed very appealing. She bit her lip for a moment. It seemed like it would take quite a while to fix this waywared teen...but her grades were going very good, and she really needed a hobby...so...

Emily typed out an e-mail, she sent it to the e-mail link hoping that this poor mother would agree to her help. It took couple of hours, but she soon got a reply. After an hour of explaining who she was, and giving background, she was given more in-depth information about her son. She looked at her clock. It was mid afternoon, her son should be at work and the poor mother wanted Emily to stop in and begin right away. Emily was quite excited for it all and dolled herself up enough so she'd catch his eye, but not seem like a slut. After that, she got into her lancer and drove to the address his mother had given her of where he worked.

Justin Mannors was wild at heart, his mother didn't know where he got it from but he got it good. He loved to party, have fun, and ignore all authority, which it was funny he had a job for that exact reason. He stood against the counter at the cash register taking coffee orders at the small cafe in town. He had on some jeans and a teeshirt his hair still a mess from staying up last night.

He was hung over, and frankly looked like shit. He popped a few vicodin with a sip of coffee and looked up to the next person in line waiting for their coffee taking orders, writing them on the cups and checking them out. It was an easy job, and it supported his drug habit his mother refused to fund any longer.

It was mid afternoon and all Justin could think about was getting out of there, it was warm, it was sunny and clear and he couldn't wait to go down to the beach tonight and party with some of his friends, maybe smoke a little weed to wind down from the miserable day at work. He hardly noticed the beautiful girl that walked into the cafe but as soon as she got to the counter to order her drink he perked right up, "Hi, What can I get you?"
"And when someone apologizes to you enough times for things they’ll never stop doing, I think it’s FEARLESS to stop believing them. It’s FEARLESS to say “you’re NOT sorry”, and walk away. I think allowing yourself to cry on the bathroom floor is FEARLESS. Letting go is FEARLESS. Then, moving on and being alright…That’s FEARLESS too." - Taylor Swift

Emily pulled up to the small cafe, it was rather cute in her opinion and she climbed out of her car. She stood there for a moment before she put a stray strand of hair behind her ear and walked in. She looked around, even without the picture his mother had sent to her phone, she didn't need it. It was easy to pick him out from everyone. He looked absolutely wasted. She frowned for a moment, she definitely had her work cut out for her. She took in a deep breath before she stepped in the line. She waited patiently, trying to think over how she would approach him. Finally it was her turn and she noticed him instantly perk up. That was good.

Emily thought for a moment, adopting a cutesy smile as she looked at him. When she forced herself to look passed his hang over and the obvious drug use, he was attractive. "Hm, I'm not sure, what do you recommend?" she asked in a flirty tone as she put her elbows on the counter and leaned forward slightly, staring him in the eye for a moment before she giggled and pulled back. She squinted at his name tag for a moment, though she already knew his name, and grinned. "Justin." She stated before she bit her lip for a moment. "That is a very nice name." She tilted her head slightly, still smiling. She was trying to make it obvious enough for him that she was flirting with him and was interested. She wasn't quite sure what kind of girl he liked, so she decided to try all of them. At the moment she was kind of being a shallow ditz, but if that wasn't what he wanted, she'd have to carefully ease out of her persona into something else without him noticing too much.

He smirked slightly as she read his name tag, he was always good with the girls, no matter what type they were but the shallow ditzy ones were his favorite, they were always too stupid to complain about what he did or him being not in school, all they cared about was that he was a 'bad' boy and would make sure their daddies didn't like him. He was definitely good at that.

"Thanks, my mom gave it to me." He teased her a little bit before looking over the menu, "Hmm you look like the kind of girl that would like my famous mango-banana smoothie." The drink wasn't on the menu but he always used it to flirt with girls, he'd easily combine the two already made recipes and wow her with a blender.

It was obvious she was interested in him, a little too obvious, he liked the kind of girls that played hard to get, teased him and made it seem like more of a prize when he finally did get her. "What do you think?"

Emily laughed. "No?" she said before she could see a look emerge into his eyes. She didn't exactly like it, and decided to lay off a little on being a ditz. She wouldn't get rid of the persona completely, but she wasn't about to make a fool of herself. Emily shook her head at once. "No, I don't like mangos, or bananas." She stated clearly as she leaned away from him, seemingly bored as if she had already grown bored of the new toy. She thought over in her head, deciding what to do.

Emily looked passed him up at the large sign. She was carefully thinking through how she had to act, and what she could say, so far she hoped that she was choosing the right way to go, without really causing to much damage before she got him coming along. "I think that there really isn't much here that I'd like." She frowned, still scanning over the menu. She pouted slightly, before she looked back at him with a lopsided smile.

He looked up at the clock, "Well I go on break in about five minutes, there's a burger joint across the street. How about you let me buy you lunch?" He smiled slightly. He had his mom's card, she could buy this cute new girl lunch for them and he would get all the benefits of getting to know her more and winning her over, more than with his blender skills at the cafe.

He thought about the girl, she was definitely cute but she didn't look like she liked to party much, and that was a big no no in Justin's world. He'd still give her a chance though, besides he could definitely use some greasy food to cure his hangover.

Emily smiled widely. "That sounds brilliant!" she exclaimed. "I'll let you get back to the customers until the five minutes are over." She grinned before she found a small table in the corner to wait things out. She pulled out her phone and sent a simple text to his mother to let her know things seemed to be going smoothly. She smiled to herself as she closed her eyes, thinking. This was definitely going to be a fun challenge. She could tell he was a little shallow, and not very good at thinking ahead in life, but that was okay, she'd change him. She was bothered by the fact that he did drugs and partied, but she was going to do her best to change that.

He took a few more orders then headed in back grabbing his sweatshirt and clocking out for break, he walked up to the table smiling, he was happy they were going out, rarely did she see someone with potential in the dump that he worked in. "All ready?" he asked as he walked towards the door nodding his head for her to follow him.

They crossed the street and managed to steal a booth quickly at the small burger joint, he was starving as he looked over the menu, not just for food but for some more pills, maybe a little blow. He decided to keep that stuff out of the first conversation though, it usually scared girls away.

Emily opened her eyes and smiled widely as she saw Justin. "Yes, I'm ready." She pocketed her phone before she got to her feet and followed him out of the small cafe to the joint across the street. She sat across from him, wondering if he liked girl's who ate, or ones who barely had a stomach. She decided to wait and see what he ordered. She was going to surprise him, keep him on his toes, make sure he wouldn't know what was coming at him. "What are you going to order?" she asked him in a flirty tone as she batted her eyelashes. She could tell he was seeing the end of his rope, but she hoped he wouldn't say anything about his pill popping habit.

He looked over the menu, unsure of what he really wanted to eat. He knew his eyes were always bigger than his stomach but still decided with what he was feeling he wanted to eat at the moment, "Um probably a steakhouse burger, with onion rings?" He looked up at her, he hoped she wasn't a health freak wanting him to have a salad or something, or about to lecture him for eating too much grease. He prayed to god she didn't though cause it would be a total deal breaker.

He thought about what she might eat, he hoped that she'd eat a lot, he liked girls who could eat like a champ and keep up with him the entire time. He fumbled with his phone for a few seconds texting one of his friends about plans tonight.

Emily listened to what he wanted. "That sound great!" she said before she looked over the menu. "You know, I'll get the same." She grinned, and set the menu down as a waitress came over to take their order. Emily looked up at the girl who was eyeing Justin rather funnily. "I'll have the steakhouse burger, with fries, and than a water." She smiled sweetly, though there was a slight glare in her eyes as she looked at the waitress who was a real ditz, through and through. "What are you going to have Justin honey?" she asked in a sweet voice as she stared across the table at him.

Justin was a little shocked that the girl was their waitress but tried to ignore it, then he blushed when she called him honey, he ignored it after a couple of seconds and spit out his order like he ate there all of the time. "I'll have a coke, a steakhouse burger with mushrooms and onion rings." He smiled back at her and handed the menus to the girl who almost expected introductions to be done, but that was definitely not happening, justin though to himself. "So uh, I don't think I ever even caught your name?" He said to Emily smiling slightly as he sat cross legged in the booth, he truely didn't care what anyone thought of him which was nice in a guy but not all the time. There were times and places to be proper and it seemed Justin may not have known them all.

He text another one of his friends and then blushed slightly looking up, "Sorry, work stuff?" He joked knowing that he seemed like one of those guys who could never get away from their blackberry or Iphone.

Emily looked at him and waited until the waitress left before she spoke again. "It's Emily." She said with a smile. She watched as he texted once again on his phone, this caused a frown to come to her face. She definitely had her work cut out for her. "Haha," she said dryly before she looked away from him, obviously perturbed and annoyed. She didn't say anything though, deciding to let him handle it the way he wanted. She merely sat there, staring away from him, looking bored and hungry. She waited as patiently as she could. She wondered how long it would take for their food to arrive. She hoped it wouldn't be long. She didn't want to have to be the one driving the conversation, and at the moment it seemed like Justin wasn't too eager to talk very much. That made her frown in displeasure.

Justin was never too smooth with girls once he got them out, getting dates wasn't a problem but keeping them usually was, he didn't know what to say, didn't know what questions to ask or what to talk about. He rather he made the girl do all the work in getting him to talk. That was always the easiest way to do things, and he liked easy.

He noticed Emily looked bored and started getting a little down on himself thinking that he should be making conversation, wanting to entertain her somewhat he nervously asked, "Are you okay? I'm sorry about the texting." He knew that made her a little mad but decided it wasn't worth losing the date over.

Emily was surprised at his apology. She turned her attention back to him with a small smile. "I'm fine, just hungry and irritated. You should know better than to ignore a girl on a date." She pointed out with a small frown. "Honestly, must you text?" she asked him before she turned her attention away from him again to let him think over what she had said. She looked at her nails, inspecting them. She stared at them for a while, pretending she was interested in them, but she really wasn't.

"So what do you do?" she finally asked Justin since it was obvious he wasn't used to really chatting too much on a date, or at least taking the lead in the conversation.

He shut his phone off and frowned slightly, "I'm sorry, no more texting." He adjusted himself slightly under the table and then grabbed her hand looking down at her nails smirking when she gave him a "what the hell are you doing?" look. "You looked pretty interested in those, I just wanted to see what was so fascinating."
He laughed slightly teasing her a little more then decided to answer her question.

She was critical, she knew he didn't like to talk by asking the question, and she pointed him out on his texting flaw, "Uh, I take orders and make drinks?" He said unsure of what else to say, he didn't have some cute glamorous job.

Emily laughed slightly. She stopped though as he grabbed her hand. She had no idea what he was doing and wondered what was going through his head. She couldn't help but start to laugh again as he spoke. She felt more comfortable with him now and finally shook her head. "They aren't, not really, but they were more interesting than you were a moment ago." She grinned jokingly as she sat back feeling more comfortable now with him.

Emily smiled softly. "No, I meant what do you do, like for fun?" she asked as she smiled.

"Uh, I usually just party a lot, go to the mall, drive around with friends, you know." He said thinking about all the parties he'd been to recently, the tequila bottles lining his bedroom floor to remind him and the small baggie of weed in his pocket at the moment not one person knew about but him and the guy who sold it to him.

He smiled slightly, "What about you? Let me guess, go shopping, talk with the girls, get your nails done?" He teased her smirking also letting his guard down slightly, something he rarely did, not even around family.

It was the exact thing his mother had told her, though he had conviently left out the heavy drinking, ditching school, and the occasional drugs. She laughed and shook her head. "No, I'm not your typical girl." She stated. "I actually like going to the library, hate shopping, would rather talk to my cat than idiotic girls, and I like going for nice long walks in the evening." She knew that would probably catch him, but she was being honest. She could tell he was loosening up, and she wasn't ready to let him go yet. "Well, I enjoy doing those things, but most of my time is filled up with homework from my AP classes." Emily spoke off-handedly as if it was all normal.

"Oh..." His voice trailed off slightly, she was smart, she probably thought that guys who dropped out of school were complete scumbags and she'd probably leave him sitting right there, to eat lunch alone. "Well uh, I dropped out." He said trying to keep it non challant but it was hard, he did his best to keep his tone straight, as straight as he could but it was hard.

"Is that going to be a problem?" He asked half being cocky and half being nervous, if that was possible. He hated school it had always been such a drag to him and he never wanted to have to deal with it again.
