Chaotic Space ( )

A pretty young woman stood in a three-piece suit. Behind her, hundreds of bright red flashes burn across the background. Above her was a huge complex of large, gray metal buildings, with fresh burn scars covered most of them. The remains of fences tried to encircle the whole place but most had been smashed to the ground by the heavy treads of armored personal carriers. The bodies of men and morphs littered the ground, their bodies scored great burns from laser fire.

“This is Linda Dole for the Haven News Network” said the smartly dressed woman, ducking each time a stray laser blot burned over head, “Just hours ago, battle erupted within the Kinglington Protection Agency as their Morph soldiers rose up in rebellion. It is believed that the CEOs are dead or missing and the company as collapsed. The Morph’s reasons for doing so are as yet, unknown. Within an hour of the rebellion, forces belonging to the political group, Humanity Above, appeared on the seen and…..”

A large explosion behind her cut off Linda. As she and the cameramen in front of her were thrown the ground, the camera captured the images of what appeared to be a power plant bursting into the flames, with large jagged chunks of metal flying through the air. Before either of them could move, the camera recorded a large metal shape

A lone ship passed through the void of space, on route to the planet of Mjolnir, an out of the way world on the outer rim of colonized planets in the Nova galaxy. Not the largest or most heavily armed vessel, the Star’s Tail was still a warship, her belly covered in laser batteries and five missile pods mounted topside. The twin warp engines mounted in the stern left behind a shimmering cloud of ion particles.

Deep within the Star’s Tail, in the small stateroom of the captain, a small cloud of strong, bittersweet smoke gathered around the head of a dark eyed man. A small cigar of carlia leaf burned, held between his lips, the smoke escaping from his lungs in tendrils from his nose and the corners of his mouth. Carlia leaf was twice as addicting as Terran tobacco but instead of causing cancer like its tobacco relative, Carlia only caused allergic reactions in some people. For the man himself, the effects of the smoke caused feels of calm to ease his mind and shut down the nerve’s ability to send pain signals to the brain.

Alex Drake stared it the computer screen in front of him, the video looping back to display of Linda Dole’s last report. An uneasy frown caressed his lips around the small cigar. His company was gone and it’s undoing was caused by a rebellion of Animorphs. The ship’s crew was mostly human but his company of mercenary troopers was mostly made up of Animorphs, with only the officers from the rank of sergeant and up being fellow humans. Add to that, a large number of Heavy Morphs, built for heavy labor but they did cause him any fear. Heavy Morphs were loyal, stupid and strong, much like Lenny from the Terra book called Of Mice and Men, lost in ages passed.

Luckily most the laser rifles and carbines were locked up in the armory, which needed the command code of two officers and a hand scan to open it up. Upon his hip was belted on his sidearm, a Merizen model 13, on of the most common laser pistols in the universe with plenty of knockoffs to drive the price down. That was proof enough that something was wrong, he never went armed aboard ship until they were about to make planet fall. Alex took a deep pull on the cigar, causing the burning red tip to flare brightly.

“Now hear this” he said, pushing the ship’s intercom, “This is Captain Drake, all officers are to report to the conference room. All Morphs are to report back into their quarters on the double.”

With that, he released the intercom control and stood up. Tucking a thin, shinny metal case into his pocket, Alex left his quarters and ended down the paneled corridor towards the inner workings of the upper deck of the Star’s Tail. Down below him, for two decks, were the quarters and rec rooms for his company.

I stood, combing my wild hair back. It had an oily feel to it, but that was merely due to the body oils I emitted from it. It fell with great sheen and a glistening quality as if it were damp, down my back. I moved silently, my feet touching the floor with no sound at all. I hated this... slick floor though. It was easy for me to move across, but when it came to fighting with the humans on this ship, it was truly impossible to get good footing. I always fell- which wasn't a problem when you can get back up in the same twisting motion.

My body had a tendency to be more... flexible... than others. As if I could twist and bend to impossible feats, and snap back in shape. Thank god for hard bones of cartilage...

"W-wait..." Came a murmur from behind me. Tumbling out of the room I had just visited came a human crew mate, yanking his pants up at an alarming rate. But still under the toxic illusions of my venom, he fell to the ground and let his head lull back to stare at the ceiling. A chuckle escaped his lips.
"Co...p-pella." He laughed softly, rubbing his chest. I guess I was a bit rough, but it mattered not. Only a smile tipped my lips as I sensed the vibrations behind me of him rolling about carelessly on the floor.

"Humans." I mocked humorously.

I strolled further towards my room, having heard the captain's call. I felt a few other crew members's eyes upon me, after having seen Frederick- the man now rolling on the floor. They wondered several things about me, but none of those wonders could be completed nor resolved.

Coming past a vast window, I saw my reflection far before I saw space. The sleek green body curved and scaled in such a strange way. I was the new age Medusa- and I would always be a toxic persona.
The only thing on my body was the tiny black thong. Otherwise, I had not human shyness, nor pride in clothes. I was an animal, wasn't I? Why not act like one. Live, breathe, eat, seduce. Kill is on that agenda, somewhere.

Damn, I have fourteen years left before my criminal record is erased. Rolling my eyes, I slid into my room, and went to my dresser. There was two vials. I parted my lips, and with a subtle *pop* my jaw opened wider, my lips stretching as my jaw slid back and my lower face seemed to reach towards my neck. Folding forward came two long fangs, hollow and filled with euphoric venom.
My everyday job was here. I bit into a small section of tightly woven canvas skin, and where my fangs fell in, were two vials catching my venom. It was my way of saying... well... It was something of course, a generous offer, to assure that the captain carried the anti-venom on him. Because a bite from me remained toxic for up to four or five hours. I had people under my will or under my blade for however long I pleased.

After doing so, I moved to my bed. I laid upon it, staring up at he ceiling as my side-bound eyelids crawled out from underneath my normal ones and the corners of my eyes to make it so I could appear as if... maybe, I were sleeping.
One who knows nothing, can understand nothing.

Leif looked up from his seat in his quarters at the announcement. For the better part of an hour, he had been attempting to create an effective explosive round that would be fired from his shotgun, but for some reason he couldn’t get the chemical ratio right. Staring at the piles of chemicals, beakers, and tools on his workbench, he shook his head. Screw it. Waste of a day off anyway. Moving quickly, he stowed everything safely away in his work area. Don’t know why I bother. The tiny lab I crammed into this room couldn’t bake a decent meal, let alone mix high explosives.

Slipping on his uniform jacket over the undershirt he was wearing, Leif stomped out of his room and headed to the conference room, his mood shifting as he stopped grumbling and began to wonder what the meeting was about. An all officer call, in mid-trip, with the Changelings sent to quarters. What in space is going on? The captain ain’t one of the bigots, not that I’ve seen. There were no enemies in our path last I checked, and we ain’t going anywhere special. All Furs confined to quarters… Leif paused in the middle of the hall, and began to hurry. The only thing that really calls for that is a mutiny.

Leif arrived at the conference room, stepping aside and saluting his superior officers. Moving over to the corner, Leif dropped easily into a parade rest stance and waited for the meeting to begin.

Lein was eating the pathetic attempt at food that they served to the morphs when his ears twitched at the electric whine of the speaker, ignoring it as the captains voice spoke throughout the ship:“Now hear this. This is Captain Drake, all officers are to report to the conference room. All Morphs are to report back into their quarters on the double.” He let a feral grin work it way to his face as he guessed the reason for the order.

The Morphs were usually ordered to their quarters for three things, a)to recoperate from punishment for disbehavior, b)Hiding them from important digniteries, and c)Whenever something happens to cause further distrust to the Morphs. Seeing as this was a mass order and they weren't expecting any visitors, Lein guessed that the rumor that a group of Morphs were planning on revolting had come to fruition.

He gave a silent congratulations to the Morphs before getting up slowly from the table, taking count of the activity in the ship's corridors. He was sure the news will have already reached the ears of many of the mercanaries and plenty were drunk enough to take out any misplaced anger on a 'lesser being'.

Just as was his luck, as soon as he reached his room he felt a metallic grip on his arm and the stench of alchol coming from behind. He turned aroundf to see a burly man who had mechanized both arms. "I here a group of you freaks led an attack on our company today." he said, his words filled with a mix of anger and sadness "Do you realize that my brother, just 19 years old, was killed just minutes ago." he said as his grip tightened into a painful vice."

Lein looked at the man with a bored expression, ignoring the pain in his arm. "I'm sorry for your loss, but many get cut down in war that do not deserve it. However, I don't particularly see why this should be of any interest to me." He said, prying the mans fingers off this arm.

"It should interest you because it is the last thing you are going to hear." He said, rearing back his mechanical arm and sending the punch straight at Lein's face. Glided by the punch, grabing the arm and twisting it at the elbow, breaking it free from joint. He stared at the peice of machinery in his hand for a moment before tossing it to the man.

"Once you wake up, your going to want to get a mechanic to look at that, a one armed mercanary isn't much use." Lein told him, as if commenting on a recently seen movie. He then rushed forward, sending palm strike, breaking his jaw and effectivly knocking him out. Lein sent a message for the medical team and then turned around and entered his room. He then waited for whatever awaited him next.

Hmph.

Heat. Nearby. Like... hmm... next door. It must be the wolf-man. I heart the metallic screech, and flicked out my tongue. Oh, so many vibrations, I sense trouble.

I slid off of my bed and brought myself to a stand with a yawn. Not caring but to throw on a long robe and not tie it, I strolled out of the room.

"Oh my." I said, sensing the heat upon the ground. Kneeling to the man, I checked his pulse and flicked out my tongue. "You poor thing, has no one ever told you to leave us Morphs be?" I poked at his face with a smooth scaled finger. One would think that because I was covered in scales I would be of a rough texture. But instead, my overall feel was smooth and almost like skin-tight armor. The way my scales flattened and overlapped created the most luxurious feel of perhaps a cool wax or sheet metal. Maybe fiberglass. Hmm...

"And by the way." I tapped his cheek a couple times, watching his eyes flutter unconsciously.
"I killed your brother. But I told him not to kiss me. Never kiss a snake after a bite. The venom is much worse when injested.." I chuckled. Bringing myself to a stand, I kicked the man's body aside and rapped my greenish knuckles upon the door- able to sense the heat through it.

"Good afternoon Lein. I suppose I should apologize to you for bringing an angry hume to blame you." I said through the door, awaiting either its opening, or a silence that would lead me back to my own room.

Lein heard motion outside the door, catching the scent that was close to a winters wind, gentle but with an undercurrent of bite. Then came the rasping at the door, hearing a woman's voice apoligizing for the humans actions. He thought about just leaving her there and falling asleep, but realized that the adrenaline was still pumping from the fight. He went over to the door opening it to a woman covered in scales and little else, not that he would complain.

"I don't beleive their is anything to apologize for. He was and looking for a way to take out his frustraion, be sides, it was fun, if only for giving me a reason to attack." He told her, an animalistic quality working into his voice.

One could hear the loud bangs of something hitting metal throughout the halls, everyone could hear when 'Mutt' was angry or frustrated, though she never took it out on her human commanders, having been trained not to bite the hand that feeds. Instead the beast of an animorph was bashing her thick skull on a small machine that would produce her lunch, but so it seemed it hadn't gave her food so her immediate reaction was to beat the shit out of it until it forfeited the food. Little did she know she forgot to push the enter button after imputing her specified code which was set on her dogtags, so there she was gripping the sides of the machine, her clawed and furred hands creating dents into the thick metal as her dull claws shred into it as if it was butter. She could've just pried the machine apart instead of continuously bashing her thick skull into the faceplate. Luckily she had a custom made metal cap over the top of her skull, even if she didn't have it she could still headbutt the machine for another hour before passing out.

Finally the machine gave in and opened up to reveal, to her disappointment, the packet of stew was small. Letting out a huff before stuffing her muzzle into the packet, her tongue lapping up the freezdried ingredients none the less with horrible slurping sounds. Pulling her muzzle free, revealing that it was coated in sauce due to her lack in table manners, however she didn't need a napkin. Parting her maw to allow her pink tongue to slide free and curl over her muzzle, cleaning off most of the residue of her small snack. She was about to bash her head once more into the machine in demand for more of the food until she heard a voice over the intercom, making her head tilt in a slight degree to the left and her triangular ears to stand erect with attention. Mutt never really had a clue what was ever going on, just going where she was instructed like a good dog, though she could hardly be defined as 'good' compared to enemies.

Mutt didn't want to go back to her quarters, she preferred to get more of the food, however her extensive training prohibited her to ignoring orders from a high rank. With another huff from the large beast, she turned around in the cramped room, it was always hard for her to maneuver about. Wearing nothing more than a armored vest, a pair of black fatigues, along with belts that were made to hold various weapons and ammo but remained empty for now, she wasn't allowed to carry guns while not in battle. Lowering her head so she wouldn't hit it on her way out of the small room, moving into the hallway were she could stand a towering six foot eight inches. Her muscles were well defined through the thin layer of tan fur, looking imposing to most of the crew though she was easily controlled due to lack of mental capacity of the beast. She went to her room, seeing how she didn't really get along well with others, having a bit of an anger management problem, seeing how one of the regular exotics called her a "dumb ass, good for nothing mutt." It didn't end too well, the crew at first thought she had killed more than one, due to the pieces of flesh and meat scattered everywhere. However, Mutt told them the truth and apologized, it wasn't her fault the exotic opened her mouth.

Grumbling as she pushed the buttons on the keypad, not knowing what the numbers were but she was instructed to push that set, which she remembered after the hundredth time. The keypad beeped and turned red, showing some odd pictures that was actually words, she blinked in a surprised manner as the door didn't open. She pushed the keys again, the beep repeated itself, making her narrow her eyes dangerously at the keypad. Her hands grip the box mounted on the wall, letting out a rumbling growl that could be called thunder as her muscles bulge from beneath her fur in her arms. With one swift yank, she completely tore the box off in a fit of rage, turning to hurl the object down the hall like a child throwing a tantrum. Next she moved to the door, pushing at it to see if it would move, knowing her luck it didn't budge. With a defeated sigh, she slumped to the ground, her back resting on the metal door hoping that this was good enough for the commanders seeing how she couldn't get into her room now. Letting out a rumble of her broken speech, always having a habit of speaking her name at the beginning of her speech.

"Mutt hates machines..."
Praise to my father,
Blessed by the water,
Black night, dark sky,
The devil's cry!

I nodded softly to his coming to the door. I believe he was as I, a Corporal... perhaps. I didn't really pay much attention to others around here, but the other Morphs were quite interesting. I found a lot of feline and caninemorphs. No others like I. I was one of the few, and classified as failed because of how my snake-instincts took over to my eyes and tongue. They wanted me... a little more human.

"Well, glad I could be of service, in that case." I said with a snakey 's' when I spoke. My tongue slipped between my barely parted lips as my yellow eyes stared into his own, seeing not eyes, but a unique heat signature- everyone had one. With this, I could determine his bloodpressure, health, and body outline and clothes.

"What do you think the Captain is doing?" I said softly, tilting my head and flicking out my tongue as I sensed vibrations far down the hall. My attention snapped back to Lein.

"Forgive me, I seem to snake into my curiousity far too easily. And to not have even given you my name. I am Coppella Marone, but my name upon this vessel, and many others, is Venom. My pleasure to be... acquainted with another Morph." I said, a grin lingering over smooth shining lips of darker green.

As the heavy stomp of combat boot echoed through the corridor, Alex stoked the butt of the pistol at his side. How many of the soldiers he had fought beside had been in on the uprising back on Haven? He almost didn’t notice the cigar burning dangerously need his lips. Muttering to himself, he pulled the stub from his mouth and rubbed the burning end on the heel of his left boot.

As the conference room door hissed open, he snapped a relaxed salute to the assembled sergeants and the four lieutenants, before walked to the head of the room.. Calmly he pulled the metal case and withdrew another cigar, sliced off the tip, placed it between his lips and lit it. After taking in a deep pull at the burning Carlia leaf, he took a sidestep to the left of a large screen and picked up a remote from a holster on the wall. The largest button was pressed.

After one loop of the program, Alex pressed the mute button and stood in front of the screen. His eyes scanned over the crowd of human officers, all twenty-four of them, watching for fear or anger or shock. His own was a flat slate. With smoke leaking from his nose, he drew a deep breath.

“As many of you can guess” he said, “None of us now have a company that we belong to or on a pay roll.” He sighed and took another pull on the cigar. “What we do have however” he continued, “Is an armory full of weapons, a scout class warship and crew, enough heavy morphs and supplies to build a small military outpost and one hundred and eighty morph troopers and exotics that we can or can not trust. So the question becomes, what are we going to do?”

Leif nodded to Alex, speaking as the captain acknowledged him. “Well, sir, we have several options. I personally feel that the company failing was the result of their own idiocy. The Morphs are just the same as the rest of us, and bigotry has brought great nations to their knees before. If we were to give them complete independence and the same rights accorded to us humans, we could eliminate all possible issues.”

Leif stepped forward, warming to his topic. “With the immediate threat out of the way, we could then concentrate on finishing the job before us. With a new stance on employment for the Furs, we could have record recruitment numbers to set up a new company, at a new base. Sir, I’ve fought with the morphs, and I think this would work. We have all the needs to make an entirely new company, all we have to do is make it so.”

Alex almost sighed in annoyance as Lieutenant Lesser bumbled his way into the conference room. the younger man was defiantly good at his chosen profession and loyal to boot but his showing up late and cracking his head on the projector was not the best signal coming off of him during this time of crisis. However, he was going to need all of these officers if he to get them good positions in a new company or start their own.

Alex's eyes drifted over to Sergeant Hannover. Somewhat of an oddball with a passion for outdated railguns, the sergeant was one to live up to his nickname of Overkill with the beastly thing he carried into battle. His ideas had merit and at least he voiced them instead of being one of the milling mass of humans in the room. He drew in another puff of Carlia smoke into his mouth, letting it leak out from his nose and corners of his mouth, much like a dragon right before it breathed fire.

"The question Lieutenant is what we are going to do without a company to pay us" said Alex but before he could go on, two voices broke in.

"We should shoot the lot of the Furs" came the somewhat squeaky voice of Sergeant William Orange, a young man new to the outfit and untested in battle.

"Yeah" came the voice of Staff Sergeant Aakar Ngô, "We can't trust them."

A frown crossed Alex's face, while the fresh faced Sergeant Orange might be written off as a nervous kid, Sergeant Ngô was not. He was one of the oldest members on the Star's Tail and should have known that his words were foolish in any case or were possibility the wisest given the situation. A large snort caused a billowing cloud of smoke to escape Alex's nostrils.

"We cant" he said slowly, "Not without screwing ourselves. If we kill them, we'll look like a bunch of cowards and thieves to anyone we try to hook up with, if we join a new company. It will appear that we fled company headquarters and stole this ship to make your escape without them to prove that we were on a mission."

"Now Sergeant Hannover has an interesting prepositional" Alex continued, not waiting for a rebuttal from the two sergeants, "However, it does have a few flaws. While I do not find a Morph to be any more or any less then a man on the battle field, the rest of the population feel differently. If we were to charter a new company with such regulations, not only would we have every nation and mercenary company breathing down our necks and wanting us arrested, where would we recruit from? Runaways? That would just be another reason for them to hunt us. I believe that the best option is to form a new mercenary company with much more relaxed regulations for Morphs to ease the tensions, maybe even pay"

"Which brings us to another concern" he continued, "We have very limited funds at the moment and we're going to need much much more to continue in any course of action. I know that there are three job offers with in a few hours travel of our current position, so I will call for a vote. Everyone who wishes to charter a new company raise your hand and call out a name for it."

Giving everyone a second to think it over, Alex raised his own right hand and called out, "War Ravens!"

"Now excuse my intrusion. Even though I showed up I still have a say in this" *He didnt need to stand up even while sitting he towered over the other officers* "We need the morphs because they make up most of our core" *He looked around the room. every one was looking at him* "They are aslo good fighters in a sense as well. They are not like us. Even though i am stating the obvious they dont say no to any kind of order. BUT! In the same sense we still have to keep them in check. But we cannot just end their live's. Because we spent tons of money on these ones. I dont see how we should spend more on New ones when we can just simply get some one in here to do some sort of repair's on them." *he then looked towards the Captain* " But back in to the vote now." *He looked around and them in a Booming voice he said* "War Ravens!"

Leif stepped forward, keeping his voice calm but pitched to carry to the entire room. His words proved why he was such a good sergeant, touching the minds of the the officers. “You all know me. I’m unpopular for my opinions, but I get results. Listen to me now. Our company is gone, relegated to history by inevitable chaos. Torched to ash by the flames of war. Out of the ashes, we shall rise, a new company out of the old, made from the old. Out of the inferno of chaos we have been birthed, we have been reborn. Tell the universe. Tell them that Clan Phoenix has come.”

Leif looked around the room, meeting the eyes of every other officer. “We, gentlemen, are the last remnants of the KPA. We shall rebuild our company and return, ready for anything. We shall become the best, because we did not die when we were supposed to. Are you ready, gentlemen? Are you ready to return to the land of the living, to rise from the ashes?”

And we shall prove others wrong, that a company that should be dead will rise again. To perferction, and the same level of Respect that we had from others." *He looked around the room. He then realized the loud nosie he made and then smiled* "I love working with this company" *Jordan said proudly as he smiled*

The other officers looked hesitant; shuffling in place, rubbing hands, a few crackled their knuckles, other bites their lips in indecision, some looked down and a number of the younger men were wide eyed. One of the older sergeants raised his hand almost lazily, content to go with whatever the new company was called. He had been shifting from company to company and the trip was shorter this way. More hands were raised, now that someone had lead the way. A few hearty cries of "War Ravens" or "Clan Phoenix" and one of "The Enforcers" echoed around the room as all but three hands were raised.

"Then it is done" called out Alex, signaling everyone to be quiet with up raised hand, "A new company is born this day, be we Ravens to grow fat off the spoils of war or Phoenixes rising from the ashes. Now then Until we have enough money to sit down and build a base and eat at the same time, I will remain in command and we will go by the name Avions. Once we have time, a new name and true charter will be drafted. Now, go get the soldiers ready for a fight and tell them their getting combat pay. Their get a one percentage from our next job, which I off to grab. Dismissed."

With another cloud of smoke billowing from his nose, Alex walked from the conference room, heading down one deck to the transmitter room. It was such a strange place for it on this class of warship, down in the bowels of the ship and in among the trooper's quarters, instead of up with the officers. Not that it bugged him to be down with his troopers but a few of them did make his skin crawl.

As he turned a corner, Alex all but tripped over the massive Caninemorph that everyone (including herself) called Mutt. Recovering himself enough to look like a proper Officer, he looked down on the soldier with a mix of annoyance, sadness and happiness. He liked Mutt, even if she was mostly a Heavy Morph that could weld a gun and had a sprinkling of brains. The sparking hole in the wall and smashed keypad told the whole story.

"Oh Mutt" he said in a somewhat affection tone, "What did you do this time?"

Stretching those powerful legs out in the hall, most of everyone in their rooms or in the meeting so she didn't have to worry about anyone tripping over her long legs. Lifting up her right hand, turning her gaze down at it, the arm seemed to be just like her old one, having false flesh and fur over it to cover the engineering. Turning her hand palm open, spreading her fingers before curling up into a fist, tilting her head once more as the mechanical arm felt just like her old one, yet once coming out of the surgery it took some getting used to with the new increase in strength in that one arm. Suddenly, she bashed her fist into the floor, her amber eyes inspecting the dent she created in the floor. This was what happened when Mutt got bored, she seemed to just be a walking tank of destruction even if she didn't mean it. She just got frustrated was all, it wasn't her fault all the electronics hated her, though her arm never gave her any trouble luckily.

Her head turned suddenly as she heard footsteps, triangular ears perk up however she didn't expect the footsteps to be an officer. Her ears droop as he notices what she did to the keypad, grunting as she pushes herself up onto her feet. Moving her hand to scratching behind her ears, looking sheepish for such a powerful being. Which could only be seen by higher ranking officer, anyone else probably would've met the top of her head in a headbutt. She cleared her throat and turned around to face the stripped wires, picking up one while frowning, jerking it suddenly to only make things worse on accident, then she tied the wires together in attempts to fix the problem. Only making it worse, scrunching her up before turning to the officer, stiffening her posture in a late salute, after trying to hide her mistake.

"Mutt is sorry, sir, but the keypad wouldn't let me in. Mutt though it might work if... Mutt ripped the thing out."

*After they were dismissed he forgot to ask the Captain a question so he tore off after him after he was about to go in to his quaters And he came around the corner when he saw him talking to the Massive Caninemorph sitting on the ground. What was her name again? Oh yea it was Mutt* "Oh Mutt What did you do this time?" *Jordan Smirked and then spoke out loud* Well jsut by looking at the scene she couldnt get the door to unlock for her room. Freaked out and Smashed the Keypad and tossed it down the hall way. And aslo when i went running past the Mess hall the food dispenser wouldnt give her food. So it is pretty much fucked up beyond Use." *He looked down and Mutt and rubbed her head. He had some sort of Connection with Mutt when it came to combat. Possabliy due to the fact they were both massive and had the same thinking capisty in battle at the same time. So then he rubbed her head a bit and looked back at his Commanding CO* "Excuse me sir i forgot to ask you this question" *He stood straighter and then Spoke* "I was wondering if....In my squad i usually get lost from my squad. I was wondering if i could pair up with Mutt here actually"

I stared at Lein for a moment, then turned my head once more. Flicking out my tongue, I sensed new vibrations. And a new heat signature- that of the captain. Ah- I had to deliver him something.

Turning back to the caninemorph, I smiled and bowed my head.
"Excuse me, I know I must be enigmatic beyond comparrison, but I must go fetch the captain. Farewell sir Lein." I nodded, with a wink. I wanted to put him on my good list, in case I... eh... accidently raped and killed anymore crew members...

Oops.

Oh well. I had urges, and if they weren't fulfilled, the whole ship would have quite a problem. A problem that would leave them wanting to boot me from the ship.

I turned and walked next door to my own residency, and strolled inside. Grasping one of the vials of what would now be anti-venom, I shook the lightly lime colored liquid, and slid it into the side strap of my thong.
Then I strutted out, shutting my door.

Slithering through the halls- metaphorically speaking- I finally felt the vibrations heighten.

"Oh Mutt..." I heard. I chuckled a bit, and shook my head. Mutt was a friendly Morph, and sweet... If you didn't keep her from her food, and if you weren't a machine. I loved Morph's behavior, for it was at the first link of civilization. She even had the habit of stating her name when she spoke every sentence. Like cavemen when telling who gave orders.

But Mutt made up for brains with strength. No one being could be so amazingly powerful and unpenetrable. Mutt was a force I would easily run from if I were targeted.

Sliding into the room, I placed a hand on the Captain's shoulder and stood closely beside him.

"Good evening Captain." I said in a sultry tone, staring at him with serpent yellow eyes. I smiled, flicking my tongue out at him and tasting his heartbeat within the air. Hahaha!

"I bring you anti-venom, for comfort." I chuckled, pushing my robe aside to show long legs and a curvy waist. Pulling the vial from the thin black strap, I held it out to him by two fingers.

"In case I ever accidently victimize you, sir." I said with a chuckle, looking up at Mutt.

"Hi there Mutt." I said, smiling and flicking my black tongue out at the creature.

Niina was sitting in the cafeteria on top of a Heavy Morph, drinking some milk and eating a plate of not so great fish. He was stupid, but she liked the bigger ones because they were easy to fool and easy to control. The brute didn't dare touch her, not that she would care all to much. Instead he was more focused on his food then anything. She wasn't his and he wasn't hers, they were just sitting together. He was a replacement for her favorite back at the base. They reminded her of little, but big, boys. They reminded her of the brother she barely remembered. She never really wanted anything other then company from the heavies and she didn't think they really expected anything else out of her.

When the intercom came on she glanced up at it with disinterest. She figured the captain was probably telling them that he finally decided to unleash his inner grandma and start Bingo night. When he said that all Morphs were to return to their rooms her eyes narrowed. She slammed her glass of milk down on the table, startling her friend.

"Shit, that idiot probably got caught in all of that. Goddammit I told him he was stupid."

She figured they thought some more of those rogues were on the ship. Niina shook her head. She would think about it more when she got to her room, at that moment she had to actually get there. She hopped down from the Heavy Morphs lap and turned to him, patting his knee.

"Okay big guy, let's move it. I need to take a cat nap anyways."

The Heavy got up and walked next to her. She decided to stop by his place first, hers was on the other side of the wing and she didn't want some butt hurt Hume to come and mess with him because he was big, which happened with them. The Humes always had something to prove, especially the males. She sighed as she thought about her situation. She looked out at the space, her gray, cat-like eyes saw an animorph, but she was once a human. She probably would've been wearing a nice dress sitting with her parents at that moment. She wouldn't have ears, stripes, an odd nose. She wouldn't be wearing underwear like bottoms nor would her breasts barely be covered by a bikini like top that had a collar attached to it.

She sighed and looked up at her ape-like friend. His creator was unknown, like so many others, and he was made for war, but his personality, his personality was not that of a pure killer. She patted his arm while she looked ahead, he looked down at her. He had no idea his friends were probably dead or going to be killed. Morphs couldn't just start a rebellion and walk away. Everyone of them would be hunted down and killed for treason. Even Wolfram. She sighed again. Her best friend and some what protector was most likely killed. He was stupid and lovable at the same time and she hated to think he was killed, but she wasn't going to let it get to her at that moment. She had other things to worry about. Would the rest of the Humes just up and kill them because of what their kind did. She didn't doubt it, but she hoped they were smarter then that. She knew they probably wouldn't last eight seconds without the labor of her kind.

When they reached the end of the hallway and in front of her friends door, a two of corporals came walking down the hall. She stiffened, not wanting a real confrontation now that he was so close to safety. She wondered how many others had already been jumped. Of course he wouldn't know why they were attacking him and would probably kill them too. Just what she needed. She quickly grabbed his hand and pressed it to the key pad, opening it up. He looked at her oddly, but she smiled and, with strength that did not seem her own, shoved him inside.

"See ya later big guy. Take a nap and don't come out until they tell you to, okay?"

She closed the door before he could answer, knowing he would listen to her no matter how confused he was. The corporals seemed slightly peeved that the big one got away, but she just smiled innocently at them. Two of them passed her, stopping shortly after, while the other stopped in front of her.

"Hey freak. How come your big ape doesn't come out here?"

She let the insult bounce, deciding confrontation was not going to be her choice tonight. She didn't want her kind to have a bigger reason to be killed. One of the men behind her put a hand on her shoulder.

"Yeah kitty, we have some pent up anger we want to let loose and if you don't call him out, we'll have to take it out on you."

She just looked at him, then at his hand. She ducked out from under it easily and took a few steps away.

"Sorry gents, but my orders are to return to my room. I wish I could play along with you, but I can't sorry. Maybe some other time we can get together and work on these "pent up" issues you have, but right now I'm under orders from the captain."

She made a move to pass the man blocking her way, but he put an arm out.

"Why don't we go back to your room with you?"

She closed her eyes for a moment, willing her anger out of her, but she was very frustrated at that moment and decided that she was through with the nice act, however short it was. She looked up at him, her eyes not so pleasant anymore.

"Look here, corporal. I hate to say it, but I have no interest in your tiny dicks right now. I think we both know why your "pent up" issues are arising and that sure does suck for you, but I frankly just want to get back to my room. So if you could move your skinny white ass out of my way so I can go. If not I'll just have to defend myself against you three, and trust me I'd win."

She pushed past his arm and angry look came over his face. His two friends were ready to let it go, stung, but willing to walk, but he wasn't. He grabbed her arm and pulled her to him. He put a hand in her hair and pulled on it way to hard.

"Who the hell do you think your talking to you low-class freak! Your here only to service us humans and you better damn well enjoy it or I might just accidentally kill you."

Her eyes went flat. Her head throbbed slightly and she was really not in the mood. She didn't want to kill him, but she so badly wanted to slaughter him. She opted for a better route. While he was distracted with her face she raised her fist and gave him a quick jab to the throat. He gasped loudly and dropped his hands, clutching them to his throat. He fell over gasping, shocked and in pain. She looked at the two men with a look that could kill and then she stormed off.

"Damn men, just because I'm a woman doesn't mean I'm going to bend to your will."

She mumbled and grumbled to herself all the way back to the wing her room was in. She turned the corner and she sensed the snake woman down the hall. She stopped slightly, the animalistic urge to defend herself arose. She didn't know why the woman instilled that sort of reaction in her, but she did. She had nothing against her personally and didn't act hostile to her in public, but internally she couldn't get this weird feeling to go away. She could also smell a canine smell, probably one of the many. She couldn't discern it from anyone else so she probably didn't know him. Niina could see her door at the end of the hallway, just past the snake woman. She sighed and trudged onward, not really wanting to pass her, but sucking it up.
