Wing City, 3 days ago

Kroger stood looking out of the window of a highrise building in Wing City, his men stood all around the room armed to the teeth. "Here they come" one of the soldiers says, stepping back away from the double doors that seperated the office they were in and the rest of the building. The doors burst open and 4 men enter, one is an older gentleman and the rest look like bodyguards of some sort. The doors close as the soldiers push them closed and aim at the 4 men.

"What is the meaning of this?" the older man says loudly, moving towards Kroger who is still facing out of the window. "This? This is.. Business, I would say. See... Come here" Kroger said gesturing the man over, "Do you see that view?". "I do" the man says, seeming to like the view of the city as the sunset over it. "You are just another pawn in this game of chess, called life" Kroger said, grabbing the by the back of his neck and pushing him out of the glass window. The soldiers opened fire and killed the bodyguards as soon as they heard the glass break.

"Tell the press that this was a terrorist attack, and have someone clean this place up. I'm going to buy it and make this our base of operations" Kroger said, leaving the office. "Just a few more moves until checkmate".

-------------------------------------------------------

Wing City, present day

Izumi watched as Kroger's forces occupied most of Wing City's eastside, "Despicable.." he muttered before heading off. He got onto his black chopper and began to head to a known hangout for the criminal underworld, anyone looking for work, and those opposed to Kroger but not in the laws good graces.

"The Rapture Club" he said, pulling up at the club. He hopped off of his bike and headed inside. It was getting late, he was going to find someone to put a team together with, or some information on what Kroger was doing in the city.

Wing City PD.
"Get the bullets from the building" one dective said, as another was watching the supercomputer run testing. "Damnit, what the hell did this, I mean who the hell would fund these. Its not any of the empires, but these bullets are almost ARMAX grade, hell, this terrorism." he muttered, as he went on with his investigation. "Now who the hell could get military shit here... though with the shitty planet grid, any idiot could land in some desert, and truck it via BaCues or normal transport, and no one would be the wiser.."
------

Rapture Club

"Yeah, and then I fired my BEAM FUCKING RIFLE, and blew his head off!" one mech jock laughed, while a young woman, appearing to be in her twenties sighed, "Well, that's nothing. I have killed men for insulting children. I own an orphanage, and I kill gangs to feed them. I love my kids, and I would kill each and every..." she seemed to sprout weapons, as she said, "One of you fuckers, bbuut you my boys, so DRINKS ON ME!" Motoko smiled, as the other men all celebrated. It was a good day to party.

Izumi looked around the club, it wasn't too crowded yet. That was an upside, the downside was that with all of the rival gangs, organizations, and mercenaries things could go to hell fairly quickly. Izumi began to make his way across the dancefloor, it was empty save for a few women. "Ten minutes and this place will packed like sardines" Izumi said, stopping halfway across the floor as members of a local streetgang approached him.

They belonged to a gang known as the Shogun, headed by Shiro Takayanagi and distinguished by the Samurai swords they carry and their green and red clothing. Rumor had it that they had been hired by Kroger has personal footsoldiers, they did his dirty work. "You're Izumi, right?" one of them asked. "Yeah.. Why?" Izumi said looking around, the number of Shogun were increasing by the dozen and the other club patrons watched. Feeling no need to jump in and get involved in Shogun business, they were in control of many areas in Japan and were rising to power in Wing City.

"Your father, General Haggai told us to get rid of you. You're becoming a pest to him" the Shogun said pulling his sword. "Really now?" Izumi said, pulling his own and waiting for them all to strike. "Not here, wait until a later date" A man dressed in a suit said, he was dressed in the Shogun's colors. Izumi kept his swords out for a few more seconds, "Close one..."

The young woman laughed, as she saw the shogun, simply revealing her combat weapons inside the bar. Instead of using her own Katana, she drew two beam sabers, the plasma weapons sizzling in the air of the bar, causing the sky to ripple with light. "So, you false Japanese, followers of the old way, not even loyal to the Emperor, why do you taint this place, I thought I told you to fuck off..." The woman seemed angry, but calm somehow.

The men around her backed off, while she stared at Izumi, wondering what kind of man hopped to take on the Shogun with just solid weapons. She was of the true power of the Meji, not some daimo who were pissed and formed a gang to get rid of the Emperor himself. "With Justice and Destiny we will retake Nihon for Orb.."

"You need to-" one of the Shgun was starting to say, until he tapped on his shoulder by the suited member of the gang. "Some other time. They can wait" he said, making sure the others followed him as they headed to their little spot near the bar. "Fuckers..." Izumi said putting his katanas back into his trenchcoat, they fit for some reason. He then turned to look at Motoko, "Thanks, at least I know I wouldn't be alone against those pricks. They are great swordsmen from my other experiences with them, not your average gang"

Izumi looked around a bit, "I swear they have some kind of deep dark secret they hide. Like some plan for world domination or something" Izumi said with a small chuckle.

She smiled, as she responded, "They have... They have the emperor," as she almost sobbed. "They aren't good people at all. They tried to unite all the gangs and industries, and they nearly took control of all the armored mech forces of Japan, but we had my... my siblings all retreated to Orb. We.. well we were made to defeat them all, and save the Emperor from them," she said sadly.

"I'm Motoko. Motoko Attenborough, ZGMF-X20A of the Orb Alliance, pleased to meet you," she started. "So, what brings you here..."

It was then that Jason decided to make his approach. He’d heard enough to know what these people were up to. Jason didn’t mind either. All his life he’d never been a big fan of any gang; he believed they all were merely pawns of capitalist in their games.

As he approached the two strangers, he didn’t even think twice about it. Ever since he was a child he had always had his head in the clouds. To Jason, there was little reason to not simply converse with complete strangers; especially if they seemed to be working towards goals similar to his own. From what had just happened in this club, Jason could tell that he was about to make two new allies in his adventures.

It was no accident that Jason was in the Rapture Club. Work was easy to find here. Due to his recent success, Jason saw little need to charge money for his services. Instead, he simply approached those whom looked as though they would provide him with adventure and further his ambitions.

“Folks, I think you’d better follow me,” Jason said. “We may not have much time. Whenever a hunter comes through; even if he doesn’t make a kill, scavengers tend to follow. Lord knows scavengers come in bigger packs than hunters do. Those shogun will be the least of your worries soon.”

"Izumi, people know me as Izumi" he said bowing his head. "I'm here trying to find a way to defeat Kroger and his armies. He's been using gangs like the Shogun to help him in his quest to control each verse in the multiverse. So, you could say I'm looking for information and help"

Izumi looked around, noticing that the place was getting packed now. He then looked at Jason, "I'll follow you" he said then looking at Motoko. Waiting to see what she would do.

She nodded, as she followed Izumi, "I need help too, so I'll work with you." She started to wisper I'm looking to gain a way to get rid of the Shogun Leadership, then we all invade Japan, rush the Shogun bases, and push em out into the sea. So, what do you know about their tactics in Wing, how did they get a base so far from their home island.."

As Motoko put away her railguns, the woman sighed again, hoping she wouldn't have to fight too much today. Life was too good as it was, and she had no backup yet.

“Ok. Good come on then.” Jason said as he began for the ‘employees only’ door. “I’ve done some clean up in here before. There’s an exit through this area.”

Jason began to lead the way for the two new allies he’d just met. He wasn’t certain about who they were; but he’d definitely overhead their intentions and had seen that they were against the shogun. That was good enough for him. It was easy to tell that this ‘Izumi’ would be the one calling most of the shots. He seemed to know more about what was going on than Jason did.

It is curious, Jason thought, that the shogun would simply approach him in such a manner. Obviously, he’s someone important enough or annoying enough for the shogun to just walk up in a crowded room on him like that. And was he really about to just fight them all right there?

It would have been a pity had Jason been forced to draw his weapons in the middle of that club. By no means was he a perfect shot. He certainly didn’t want innocent civilians getting harmed. Besides, when you kill a shogun, you’d better have more firepower than he currently did; or you’d need a quick get-away. There are always scavengers trying to make a name for themselves and join the shogun, or impress whatever other gang was there. Too many eyes from too many places kept in a place like the Rapture Club.

After stepping over some various odds and ends in the hallway, Jason came to the back door. “Do you two have a car parked here or anything? If you do, I hope it’s close. Otherwise, we might be safer to climb the fire escape and go over the roof. We don’t want to cause too much ruckus here if we don’t have to. The police know what people hang around here, so they watch it pretty closely.” As he finished his sentence, Jason cracked the back door opened and began to peek outside.

"I have my chopper, other than that no vehicles" Izumi said, he then looked to Motoko. "After the Emperor was snatched, General Haggai's forces moved in and started to occupy the country. He's been using the Shogun to do his dirty work, providing them with technology other gangs don't have, money to operate here in the states, and things like that"

Izumi ran a gloved hand through his hair and smiled, "General Haggai is giving them an unfair advantage against their rivals and a new place to do business as long as they do his dirty work and keep him in control of Japan while the Emperor is gone"

Motoko nodded "I see, so we will have to use operation meteor," as she then said, "Well, I have a roadstriker, fits five, parked in in the alley, but its rather odd, you wouldn't mind riding in one, do you?" As she thought of the roadstriker, part of of her greater form, she giggled for a second, regaining composure. "Don't worry about the cops, let's just say, I did a favor for them, so they return it with this place. The Shogun and I both dislike too much police attention, so it benefits us all to 'solve problems without calling them..."

“I’d be happy to ride shotgun in the roadstriker. Izumi, you gonna ride with us or take your chopper? I don’t necessarily have a place for us to hide to that’d be totally safe right now. I just know that it’s a good idea to stick around after the shogun get pissed at you. By the way, I never did introduce myself. My name’s Jason.”

Just then, there was a sound at the employee door down the hall that they’d just come through. Jason turned his head just in time to see some mech-jock burst through the door…he wasn’t alone either.

Crap! He thought. There’s always some idiot trying to impress the shogun.

Quickly Jason reached behind his back and pulled out his double-barreled, sawed-off shotgun from under his jacket and pointed it right at the mech-jocks.

KA-BOOM!

He fired his first shot. The lead mech-jock was hit by the spread and fell to the floor clutching his chest. “Holy shit!” shouted a second mech-jock behind him as the remaining ‘mechies’ took cover.

“Quick, let’s get moving!” shouted Jason as he flung opened the backdoor.

Now Motoko would smile, as she was a mecha, or a reasonable imatation of one. The bullets blasted one mech jock, while the young woman pulled up her shirt. Now normally that would be quite a dumb idea, but she needed to take off the armor to use one of her more powerful energy weapons. "BREAST FIRE!" she shouted, as the melting energy weapon formed in front of her chest, turning one of the mech jocks into vapor.

To add insult to injury, she pulled down her shirt, as she called for her weapon, a standard railgun. The powerful weapon came from her internal storage, as she said, "Fuck with me, and I will send you to hell..."

"Don't worry, these punks are no match for me~". was her retort to Jason, in a sing-song voice.

Izumi followed Jason out of the door, drawing both his katana and looking around, "I'll take my bike. We'll need a place to meet" he said, looking around again just in case. "Gaijin!" someone shouts, with that the Shogun enter the alley from different directions. In an empty alley they could do their killing without someone calling the police before they are finished. "Time to die" A Shogun member says, he comes jumping from the roof to the club dressed in Ninja garb.

"Can you fight, Jason?" Izumi says, readying his katanas for the fight. He knew that alone he couldn't take such a large amount of Shogun, and he knew that not all of them were Human....

----------------------------

Sendai, Japan. Meanwhile.

"Master Shiro, the Prime Minister is here to see you" A Shogun member says to Toshiro. "Let him in" Toshiro says, eyes looking out of the window to his office. "What will it take to get you and your gang to quit ruining the country?" The Prime Minister asked, slamming his hands on Toshiro's desk. "You signing the paper saying the you relenquish all of your power to me. All of it" Toshiro says, sliding a piece of paper to the Prime Minister.

"No! Never, I'd rather die before letting you take over Japan!" The Prime Minister shouts. "So be it.." Toshiro says, seconds later a bullet flies through his window and hits the Prime Minister in the head, killing him almost instantly. Toshiro then reaches forward and signs the paper, doing a very good job at forging the Prime Minister's signiture. "It was a good idea to learn how to forge signitures and have him schedule an appointment with me on paper" Toshiro says, with a chuckle. "Japan officially belongs to us". "What about Kroger?" a Shogun askes.

"I'll worry about him" Toshiro responds, "I'll worry about him..."

“Not very well, honestly. I can shoot ok but hand-to-hand is definitely out for me against all these shogun. Maybe one or two, but not all of these. I’ll do the best I can with what I’ve got.”

And with that Jason put away his shot-gun and pulled out his Colt .45 pistols. The shogun began to move in even closer now. Jason wanted them to get close enough so that they couldn’t take cover once he opened up on them.

Beads of sweat began to form on Jason’s brow. It’d been a while since he’d been up against so numerous and so formidable opponents. He honestly didn’t know if he’d survive. Jason cleared hi mind and began to plot out his attack as the shogun got closer…closer…

BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM

Jason fired his first four shots at the approaching shogun. The bright flash in the dark alley made it hard to see what was happening. He hesitated to see how he’d fared and to gain some of his eyesight back…

Sendai, Japan..
A young woman hid in the closet, as she heard the shots fire. Her mission was clear, as an "intern," or a spy for Orb, she would have to alert them as soon as humanly possible. Using a basic implant, she sent the encoded signal via common text messages and email, while several minuets later in Orb.

Orb, formerly Mass Driver Federation, Orb Space Battleship Izumi

"What? What do you mean the Prime Minister's dead.... Thank you..." The woman shighed, as her blonde hair seemed to almost float in the upper atmosphere. "I know Cagali. Freedom is in America, Justice is with Custom, Impulse and Destiny are on board..." The new prime minister of the small nation was in a bind. Orb was always part of Japan, even though Orb had their own government structure. With their spy confirming the horrible news, there was only one good solution.

Several Hours Later

"People of the Earth Alliance. I am Cagalli Yula Athha of Orb. If you are watching me now, I am here to say that Orb is formerly breaking away from Japan. Due to a coup de ta, the government of Japan is now illegitimate, and we must declare ourselves a new nation. Do not support the illegitimate government of our homeland! Boycott their goods, their Mobile Weapons, their electronics!"

Over Japan, two other fighters were prepared to launch, the borrowed OZ Gundam Wing, an older model, unlike the legendary Wing Zero Custom, and the Impulse Gundam, one of ZAFT's creations. It would be ironic, the fact that a civilian group launching a military raid on a superior force...

Outside the Bar

The Roadstriker started up, the car running down several of the men with ease, as Motoko laughed. "Good Roadstriker," she said, as she pulled out her watch, "Change Machine Form!" she said, as her armor became that of her larger form, the Strike Freedom. "Cover me, I'm going to kill me some fools," she said, as the Roadstriker opened its door for Jason.

Motoko was mad, almost insane, as she shot the shogun and the mecha jocks full of holes.
Click Hiss, Click Hiss, Click BOOM hiss, went the railgun, as it fired again and again, her guns only stopping due to the heat sensor cut off. "They dead, or do I have to cut some people up?"

Izumi fought off some of the Shogun swordsmen, happy to see that Motoko gave him a way to escape the alley. "Here goes!" he shouted, rushing towards the other end of the alley, cutting down Shogun, or deflecting their attacks in order to keep going without slowing down to give them a chance to stop him. "Where the hell is my bike?" Izumi said once he got back out to the street, "There!" he said rushing to the motorcycle and hopping on. As soon as he turned it on, Shogun members on superbikes made their way towards him. "Oh hell no.." he said, speeding off and pulling one of his desert eagles.

He took shots at the pursuing Shogun, dropping a few of them or messing up the bikes too much for some of them to keep following him. "Ha! I win" he said to himself, noticing that some of the Shogun were backing off. It was the moment he looked ahead of himself that he saw Kroger's soldiers opening fire on him and the Shogun down the street. "Whoa!" Izumi said, doing a sharp turn into an alley and stopping as soon as he got to the other side. "The hell is going on..?"

-------------------------------

Tokyo, Japan.

"Kroger, what I'm doing is just business. Thank to the technology you've provided me, I can take you and anyone else out. The whole galaxy, universe, multiverse will belong to the Shogun" Toshiro said hanging up his phone. "Orb is getting in the way, hit the streets of Japan and eliminate anyone that does not conform to our ways, kill and push both Orb and Kroger's armies out of my country"

With that, the Shogun made their out and began to wage a war in the streets against those that didn't follow them. "Kill everyone!" A Shogun commander shouted to his subordinates as he stood on top of an armored tank-like vehicle.

"The Shogun shall reign in victory.."

Jason hoped into the roadstriker. “Punch it!” He shouted as he looked out at Mototko firing her railgun repeatedly. “That girl is insane.” He mumbled under his breath. Of course, he knew she wasn’t just some girl. She was part of the Orb. There’s was little, if anything, normal about her at all. No human could be loaded with so many weapons like that.

Then he turned his head to see Izumi racing towards his motorcycle. Jason had little knowledge of what was about to happen. Was Motoko coming, or was this roadstriker going to take off on its own? With that thought, a shogun tried to attack him whule in the roadstriker.

BOOM!

Jason downed him with the second shot from his shotgun before he had a chance. Suddenly, Jason could see Kroger’s soldiers coming up from behind him. “Motoko! We’ve got to go!”

Now Motoko jumped in the Striker, laughing as she felt the machine interface with her own parts. The roadstriker started to speed off, its electric motor quickly taking it to 60 MPH in less than 3 seconds. Motoko was distracted, as the Roadstriker seemed to drive on its own, the woman searching for Izumi's cell phone number. "I was just next to him..." she said, before she got a link.

"Izumi, we need to meet at my place, but before we go, I am going to make a distraction." She smiled, deviously as she asked Jason, "Ever pilot a giant robot," while the Roadstriker's control panel seemed to light up, signals and other control interfaces switching to a "LINKED FORM".
