xDDD I think you broke it, Gabe.
I am available as an RP mentor should you seek to improve.
I draw things that you may like.
I like Ronald Jenkees and you might, too.

I require a certain level of writing skill in my stories. Don't be insulted, I just prefer to RP novel-level material. (I, I, I, me, me, me. I sound like such a jerk.)

This is why I say my father counts, he was my hero then and he's my hero now :D
SHALL I POST A PICTURE OF HIM!?

Then Batman, then Green Ranger, Godzilla etc.

and now Candlejack, wow I'd forgotten all about Freakazoid :')
When the end seem to justify the means, you've tried too hard to find an excuse. When 'by any means necessary' means 'violence may become necessary' you've lost sight of your goal. When people lay down and die rather than endure any more suffering, worry for the state of humanity. When people do not comment on how wrong this is, become angry at the world, because feeling that upset is too hard to bare. When people say 'you care too much' don't answer, because there is no such thing.

:O YES.

My father is a very dear hero of mine, as well. I've watched him sacrifice his own happiness frequently, and manage to remain optimistic and reliable. I've watched him lose everything and work himself back to functioning. I helped him detox and have watched him work through 120 days of recovery. I have watched him survive the death of his wife and raise my little sister despite that pain. I've watched him work harder and receive less than many. Most important, I've watched him keep his sense of self. A half-blood cherokee, a gamer, a star trek fan, a sci-fi reader, a chef, a perfect father, a navy man, etc etc etc.

I <3 you, Daddy. (Also that's my girlfriend huggin' him. She's not my hero, but I <3 her anyway.)

(Also his smile isn't always so goofy. Wtf happened? Cameras catch people at the strangest moments.)

Alright...well the only childhood hero (or heroes...) that would come to my mind at the moment is...

SCOOBY DOO AND THE MYSTERY INC.!!!!!!!!!!! I was overly obsessed with this awesome fivesome of Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and SCOOBY DOOBY DOO!!! I would beg my parents to get the season videos at Blockbuster, and would watch them until I could recite the episodes word for word.

I think my first hero was Leia Organa...my mom was obsessed and I followed in her footsteps.

When I started watching cartoons (around five) I loved Sailor Moon (or rather, Sailor Mercury)

Then, when I could read comic, it was Batman/Robin and Rogue from X-Men

And I think my last childhood hero's were Anakin Skywalker in the first movie (it came out when I was seven), Jedi Master Tahl, and Jedi Siri Tachi.

After that I don't really consider myself a child, but I did/do adore Jaina Solo.

Christian Bale and Patrick Bateman: A man so refined and modern, yet soulless and lost. Not to mention he was completely crazy-ish. His complex nature and his open expression revealing his dark side was a symbol of the torment we all contain.

Bruce Li: For a while I wanted to be a martial artist and film star like him and trained constantly to achieve this, but things don't always happen like you plan.

Madonna: Yeah, say whatever you want, but she's made a name for herself. When she actually puts her heart into a song it's amazing.

Brandy Norwood: The main girl from Moesha, she's constantly gotten better with time and is one of the few female singers that's sexy without being slutty.

Rafael Nadal: Despite the fact he spent most of his career as the #2 seed, he's proven that hard work and determination do pay off.

Paris Hilton: SHE GETS PAID TO PARTY!!! I want a job like that minus the drugs and other legal stuff she's gone through!

My mom and sister: THE heros in my life.

I love your Dad, I took only this part of the quote because I have seen my Dad do the same, and he still does so constantly.

Can he be one of my heroes too? He has nice hair.

Also, Miyewt totally ruined my comment, I was gonna say your girlfriend is pretty :( Ah well. (It was meant as a compliment rather than a creepy statement of her 'hot'ness XD)

My Dad
I respect him not only because he sacrifices himself for others, but also because of his political ideas, philosophy, beliefs and humanity. I respect him because he shows me more respect than he shows most adults. I love him because he is funny, charismatic, can be a good friend without losing his ability to put a firm smackdown on me when I'm evil. because we share many of the same interests, because he is always willing to take a joke, and even joke about himself (and others, heaps of that XD), because he is a constant source of advise, knowledge and necessary encouragement and deterrent in relatively equal amounts. But also, and in a way most of all I love and respect him because he is extremely flawed but continually manages to make me feel that he is an amazing human being who can show vulnerability without actually feeling or appearing vulnerable and is always strong, at least in my eyes.

Here he is:
Image
I dunno why he looks so angry because he wasn't. But there aren't many pcitures of him, as he hates having pictures taken and new I was doing it :P

My childhood heroes were the NINJA TURTLES, POWER RANGERS, JASON, FREDDY KRUEGER, and last but definitely not least Princess Amalthea. Oh wait, you can't forget Schmendrick!

Princess Amalthea:

Alright, I actually did not know we were supposed to talk about our ACTUaL hereos, just recognisble popcultural icons with slight influences.

my father is not hero because I hardly know the man at that only as a musician. A child with a mental disorder and divorced parents? Yes, I know that I am a cliche and I'm probably going to sound a little corny as I go one but please try to bear with.

Now more onto the point. My hero was and still is my big brother. He was more of a parental figure to me than my own mother. It was a strange upbringing indeed though; A child trying to help raise another child. He has always had a sort of beast inside of him ever since his prepubessian stage, a hatred for what has happened in society and always tried to teach me a lesson of some sort when possible. Sure some times the lesson was how to execute a proper grapple, but mostly they things that slowly opened my eyes. He has always kept a strait face no matter though death of loved ones, finical troubles and my own deep emotion struggles. Don’t get me wrong the guy is as stubborn as an ox with a pineapple up it's ass and as defiant as an Antsy Sue but still just seeing him content with such a humble position in life does my heart good but fills me with so much dred.

To him is so many things, a champion gamer, infamous regional mausher, and a talented artist who found love with an equally talented poet and writer (Legitimate stuff not the whiny emo deviant art dribble), a mentor and most of all family.

The only record throughout history of him smiling.
