Christmas
There's nothing like spending Christmas at home with your family...
especially when you're part of the Stone family.
It's Christmas once again, and the large Stone family is re-uniting for another year of celebration. This year will be different though, because unlike the past, some of the children are inviting their girl/boyfriends to spend Christmas with the family. Although the Stones are nice people, they have their expectations, and Mrs. Stone, especially, is very picky when it comes to who her children see. She’s a nice, respected woman and she would never insult anyone to their face, but behind their back is free-ground for this high-class mother.
When a snowstorm hits, leaving everyone stranded in the large house for a few more nights than planned, true colors show, drama will skyrocket and tension will form.
Will this Christmas end everything, or will it bring out the good in everyone?

It was the morning of Christmas Eve, and Frank Stone was in his normal eight o'clock mood. He was relaxed, but also ready to fall asleep again. Today he was not waken to hurry off to work, but instead to help his wife finish preparing their grand home for the coming of three out of their four children; Katherine was still living at home.
Frank wasn't helping out much, and after a few minutes of mumbling, "yeah, it looks fine," he had decided to just make coffee and read the newspaper. By the time he had grabbed the paper from the driveway, the coffee was ready. He skimmed over the world news section and the sports before deciding that nothing interesting was going on in the world. With a sigh, he dropped the paper onto the kitchen table and walked upstairs, into Francine and his bedroom. The master room was very luxorious but Frank rarely spent time enjoying it, for he worked late hours and barely spent any time at home.
He walked over to his closet before pulling out a pair of khaki dress pants, dress shoes and a red sweater. Of course he would have rather thrown on a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt, but since his kids were all coming together again, his wife had insisted that he looked nice. Frank rolled his eyes at the thought as he pulled a comb through his brown hair, that he refused to admit was greying. He was ashamed that his family had all spread apart, and he was embarassed that they couldn't put their differences aside for one holiday, but he was grateful that they had for today. It was going to be an interesting Christmas with the entire family back together, plus the partners.

Ben Brady had pulled up infront of his girlfriend's home and quickly hit his hand against the horn a few times before rolling down the window. Icy air streamed in, but since the heat in his old Toyota still worked, he didn't feel the chill terribly.
As he waited for Ana to come out so they could drive to her parent's house, he glanced at himself in the mirror. He had tidied up his athletic look for the holiday, because he was truly nervous to meet his girlfriend's parents. He had never heard much about them before and he could tell that Ana was not very close with her family. He hoped that him arriving with her was not going to stir things up much, but he was pretty sure that Ana had informed her family she was bringing him.
He ran his hands through his light brown hair absent-mindedly, before turning on the radio and lightly strumming his fingers against the steering wheel to the Christmas tune that played.
