Christmas

Emily Essex had always had a good life. She was a college student in California, raised in Massachusetts by the extremely wealthy Essex couple. Emily was the second child of five, and although they constantly bickered with each other, they were a close family. John and Rose Essex, her parents, only wanted the best for her in life. They supported her financially with whatever decision she made in life, but that didn’t mean that they kept their opinions to themselves. You see, when you come from a family with such wealth, social standards come along with it.

Christmas Eve is the day that Emily is scheduled to come home, and a week before the date she called her family, letting them know that she was bringing someone with her. A boyfriend. No one had heard of this boy, Brendan Williams, until today, and yet Emily says that she has been dating him for nearly two years. The reason why she hasn’t told her family is clear; he wouldn’t fit their standards. Brendan comes from a middleclass family in New Mexico, and attends the same college as Emily does. They met during their freshman year and instantly clicked, and now that they are engaged, Emily knew that she had to bring him to meet the family. She plans on having them spend a few days together and then announcing the engagement, but knowing her family, nothing will work out well. To make matters worse, her older sister has invited her fiance and her older brother has invited his girlfriend, both of whom are somewhat approved by the family, so there will be even more people around to judge.

Personality: Like most children, Jane's personality has been greatly influenced by her environment. Growing up as the youngest child in a very wealthy family has brought about many of her prominent traits which although in some ways are good, also have negatives. She has learned that material things are very important and if you have more tangible things than others, you're automatically better than they are. Because of this, Jane has become a bit of a brat when it comes to being denied new clothes or toys that she wants. It doesn't happen often, as her mother also enjoys indulging in spending, but when it does it is hard to miss as she will throw a tantrum, much to the discretion of her family who also feels the need to have a perfect appearance in public. She's ignorant to reality and earning money, but then again, at eight years old most children are. She is childish and mature all in one. While she has a very imaginative mind and loves playing dolls, house and dress up, she also has very particular tastes in things and knows how to get her way. Although she can be snappy and annoying towards her older siblings, she really looks up to them all and often begs to visit the ones that live out of the home and see them more often. She enjoys attention and being doted on, and tries to be good to keep her parents happy.

Her face is similar to one of a Porcelain doll with large brown eyes surrounded with bold lashes, a small and exact nose and full lips. Jane's sense of style is mature, as it has been influenced by her mother and older siblings, and she is very into fashion and looking pretty. Their is a surprising air of confidence that Jane carries that tends to translate into cockiness. Her eye rolls, hair flips and exasperated sighs often to tend to turn people away, and matched with her pretty little girl looks many people would characterize her as a brat just from a glance.

Age: Twenty-four

Personality: Mckenna was born with a bewitching vibe surrounding her . Every movement and every word she says has a way of enchanting you and drawing you in just to be closer to her. She has the uncanny ability to get people do what she wants, despite their many protests and is an excellent debater when it comes to anything she knows a lot about. Definitely a people person, even though she adamantly admits to family and friends she sometimes wishes she could live with just cats in her life. She inherited her mothers neat freak ways over the years, but has managed to tone it down whenever she realizes how much she can act like her. However,unlike her mother she has a bit of an easy-going side as well once you get to know and hang around her more. She prefers lounging on her couch to attending charity auctions and benefits, mostly because she's a secret sweat pants lover. She knows she can be a bit bossy whenever she gets into a mood or someone isn't doing something up to her standards, but a few words from her Italian hunk are more then enough to calm her down.

Kenny has an extremely close bond with all her siblings, although the youngest Essex is someone she dotes on quite frequently. Despite all the wealth, beauty, and glam that comes from being an Essex, Kenna tries her best to not get a big head about anything. Most of the time. A few minor details about her might be that she's an avid lover of anything involving technology. With over 200,000 followers on Tumblr, she makes sure to check her blog at least ten times a day. Send her out into the wilderness with no internet? It would take around five minutes before the craving for it would make her bitch and leave in her car to head over towards the city. Another thing about her would have to be her unwavering loyalty to her family, and the bonds she's created with them. She grew up being the closest to her father parental wise, but she looked after all her siblings the way a mother would as well. Generally she enjoys seeing them make their own mistakes, and achievements from the sidelines. Their own personal cheerleader to cheer them on in whatever they want, as long as they don't get pregnant...

Personality: Caylee is often perceived as a bitch, to be quite honest. She carries a very uninterested and high maintenance vibe that often leaves people feeling as if she believes that she is superior to them. Most of the time, it's true. She's very impatient and hates wasting time around people that she doesn't like. She doesn't believe in holding back words and can be blunt, sometimes to a point where it is simply rude. She tends to be a creature of habit and dislikes any form of change in her life, whether it be something as small as a new daily routine or something along the lines of a new person entering her life. Her reluctant attitude towards welcoming new people into her world is a turn off to many. It isn't so much that Caylee dislikes the people personally, but she just feels like her life is fine the way that it is and there is no need to add anyone else into it when they have the possibility of ruining everything. She's strong willed, independent and stubborn, so when things don't go her way she can be bratty, only because she is used to people usually giving into her desires. Although she loves her family, she is probably the one that is involved in many of the internal conflicts. She finds it to be almost enjoyable to fight with her sisters, just because she knows it's annoying, and although she adores her parents, it is common for her to talk back and disregard their wishes.

She has brown eyes that are surrounded by eye liner and lashes usually coated in mascara. May i reserve Emily please? :) Never mind I just read ALL the rules :P I will be trying for Emily! :) Sorry I am slightly over tired right now not the sharpest at the moment. Never mind I am gonna try for the fifth Essex :) I have finally decided to be the girlfriend of the second oldest.

Kyla Jane Andresen

Role: Second Essex's girlfriend
Age: Twenty

Personality: Ky is usually a girl who likes to be noticed and loved once in awhile but she isn't quite self centered. Coming from the family she comes from and how many kids there is sometimes you didn't get all the attention you craved as a little kid so now Ky still craves a little more and her elder siblings almost all have someone to love them and they all get noticed but with Ky being one of the middle children she isn't quite in the older group of siblings but she isn't quite in with her younger siblings and there for she spends a lot of time reading and taking pictures and sometimes playing piano but she still feels lonely. Ky loves to laugh and have a good time and usually she can be a little crude but she has a little reason for it seeing as she is nineteen. Ky loves to make jokes of all kind whether they are perverted or just random jokes. Like her older siblings though she has been able to find somebody and is happy with him.

One thing you must know is that Ky is very stubborn and will never stop and argument until she tries and prove her self right and she will bring up anything to prove she's right and if she gets stumped well it never lasts long before she comes up with something else and she proves herself completely right and if you try to plan something to prove yourselves so you're right she find anyway to get the evidence to be wrong, this is just how stubborn she can be. Ky can be a bit sassy sometimes and talk back but that doesn't mean she hates you it just usually means she's having a rough day or you are pissing her off and trust me it doesn't take very much to piss her off and set off her fuse, that is if you know how to push her buttons right which shouldn't be hard to figure out at all. Some days though she will not be one to talk or anything she'll stay silent in her room and not do much and will just stay away from the world and at that point she either feels really sick or she's upset about something and strangely enough not many people know this about her.

Appearance:Ky stands at the height of five foot five and will most likely never grow any taller then she is now. Ky knows that most of her looks do not come from her mother but that's fine. Ky has a slim frame and an average sized chest which she finds she can handle and is good. She almost always has a smile on her face unless when she is upset or angry then she's either glaring at you or crying. Her hair isn't that long but it goes down to just about her shoulders and is a little wavy with a tiny curl in it but most times she likes to straighten it.

Personality: Emily is a hard working girl and would much rather work for something she wanted then to have it given to her and Emily rather just do things on her own. Emily is very might independent and will go about things on her own not needing very many people to support and guide her and she seems to believe that we learn most by our mistakes so if she makes one she shrugs it off and she knows better for next time. Emily doesn't worry too much seeing as sometimes if you go with the flow everything will just string together and work and Emily prefers it when it does. Emily is not laid back but she does go with the flow of things a lot. The only thing Emily usually worries about is what her parents think on the things she does because often times she feels like she's doing something wrong and then her parents usually have a lot of judgement on it and Emily can't bare the judgement of her own parents. Anything else though is fine, it's just that her parents make her worry the most.

Emily likes to stay distant from her family because believe it or not she believes that they're just bad company sometimes and well they just don't know when to shut up and sometimes they tear apart her dreams without knowing it and believe it because it has happened before and Emily will do anything to prevent it. Emily is always a little on the safer side of things and she plays things safe and she takes a long time to think about it, she will ask questions first before she jumps in and does what ever it is that she is going to be doing.

It may not seem like it but Emily is very supportive of what ever her family and close friends do and will never be against you and if you ever have to talk to her she will be there almost hundred percent of the time so please if you have any concerns Emily will try to help. She always seems to help others before her self so she hardly ever does anything for her self whens she's around other people.

Name: Rosalita Katrina Essex, Just Rose.
Age: Forty-Five.

Personality: Rose is a difficult woman, believe it or not. She may be a strict, up to standards mother, but she is a tough wife as well. The woman likes things her way, or the highway, which is one of the reasons why she's difficult, but the biggest reason is that she's a clinical hypochondriac. Not only does she actually believes she's sick with something but she also complains about it almost at every chance she gets. Materialistic, high maintenance, and a complete neat freak, she always has to look her best or she panics, which is most likely blowing up at her children, not in public of course, never in public. She prizes herself as a classy woman, she is one of the Essex women after all, even if it is her husband's name. Nearly all of the Essex women are well off, successful, beautiful, and rich, and not to mention with a reputation that puts a Saint in the same category as say, Marlin Manson. She's sometimes too honest to the point of hurting someone. She never gives false compliments and does not know how to flatter. However, if she does say something nice to you, you can be assured that it is truly sincere and is coming straight from the heart. Although there are plenty of negative things listed about Rose, she isn't at all bad; she's passionate, loving, creative, loyal, energetic, and at times a little bit too emotional, but that can be fixed with a glass of white wine.

Appearance: Gorgeous and glamorous, Rose is a bombshell, and she's always have been one ever since she went through puberty. An ex-sorority girl, Rose was on the top of the food chain all of her life. Long brunette locks on a tall modeling frame, however gorgeous she may look, she's always had a bit of an insecurity about her appearance, as well as her health. Although she doesn't necessarily hold the same body as she did when she was in her twenties, Rose tries her best to appear glamorous and young, although at times, she tries a little bit too hard to appear young to her kids.

Personality: An outgoing individual, laughter and positivity are the best aspects of his personality. Although sometimes his jokes can be prolonged or go a little bit too far. He's an easy person to get along with, he can be serious when the situation requires it, but he'd much prefer to goof around. How did someone like him get to snatch the oldest Essex girl? He may not have the same materialistic values as other wealthy sons, but he's got the status, his father being a great Italian politician, one of the most influential men in Europe. He may have the riches and a comfortable life, but he's a rebel at heart, and gladly, that was enough to catch the eye of one of the Essex girls. Andy still has a love and hate relationship with the girl's mother. Otherwise, Rose is very glad that her daughter has a bright and cultural individual like Andy for a Fiance.

Appearance: Sculpted tan man, this Italian stud has a certain swag about him that draws people in. Dark eyed and dark haired, Andy is tall and his shoulders broad. He's got a contagious smile as well as a charming laugh. To add to his appearance, Andy has a slight accent that he sometimes over-exaggerated for the fun of it. He likes to take his shirt off at times, just of the hell of it and when the perfect time strikes. Especially when his fiance is around. ;)

Personality: Emily is a very maternal person. She cares a lot about others and is often called a worrywart. She defends her family a lot but sometimes can't find herself slipping in a few insults about them. I mean, nobody is perfect. Emily isn't a very judging person. She likes to take time to get to know a person and won't jump straight into opinion making. She's modest and she often refuses compliments. Many people find it annoying but Emily just doesn't get why. Emily doesn't yell unless she is extremely mad. Instead she makes snippy little sarcastic remarks. Emily can be considered as a brat, as when she doesn't get her way, she does tend to get a bit whiny and pouty. She's very grateful for her fiancee. He isn't like most of the people in her life, which is a good thing, and they fit together rather well. She is more then scared about her family's reaction, but in all honestly, he is all that matters. Not Christmas, not making sure she has her mother's approval. Him. She just wants to make him happy. And sometimes she does that without even realizing.
Likes: Her fiancee, her siblings, being able to sleep in, cuddling, overly sweet food, her iphone, little children, bouquets of flowers, being able to organise things by herself, spending time with Jane, floaty summer dresses, wedge heels, uprising her fiancee with things, the tv show Friends, coffee dates with her friends, reading, strawberry scented lipgloss, curling her hair, lazy days where she can hang out with her fiancee all day and scented candles.
Dislikes: Being left out of things, people judging by appearances, how judging her family can be, when she misses out on family things, sexist people, sour food, windy days, bad hair days, public restrooms, finger prints on sunglasses, arguing with people, social networking sites, when people don't get her sarcasm, tight clothing, odd buttons, complete darkness, spiders, having to drive at night by herself, chocolate with nuts in it and having to light matches.

Appearance: Emily has natural beauty. Enchanting blue eyes and long eye lashes, then leads down to her nose and her defined cheek bones. Her pouty pale pink lips, tie in with her pale skin. Her dark brown curly waves, stop just below her chest, and she never really bothers to tie it up. Emily's chest is a C cup, but she doesn't like to show it off a lot. A flat toned stomach then leads down to her slender legs, which she does often show off, in cute little summer dresses or shorts. Emily doesn't wear much makeup, usually just some mascara or lipgloss. She also doesn't wear much jewelry, just her purity ring and her heart charm necklace. She isn't very tall, just over 5'4, so she sometimes wears wedge heels.
