The artificial sun was slowly setting across the wall of the upper class restaurant. Lila Havarte's attention was focused upon this trite entertainment, rather than the man that rambled across the table. She was nearly sunk into her mink stole in the depression of boredom as the stately well dressed man opposite her prattled on about his stocks and bonds and where in the galaxy he'd vacationed. His gaze couldn't decide whether to focus upon her azure eyes, or drift downwards to the ample bloom of cleavage that was on display due to her tight dress.
Despite her disinterest, Lila had been dating this man for a few months. His money was a perfect compliment to her expensive upkeep, as told by her completely unnatural thick, pink curls. But his personality left something to be desired. She sighed and clicked perfectly manicured nails atop the diner table, trying to tune out his babble.
Suddenly a soft vibration nudged at her side, and Lila gave a forced smile to the man before her gaze drifted down to the small LCD screen of her phone.
Kali was sending a message.
Lips pursed together, she flipped the phone open and stared at the words that scrawled across the screen
"Get rid of him."
Lila snapped the phone shut and stared up at the man. It really was about time, as this particular mission had been getting stale after the first month. She stood up quickly, forcing her chair back with a quick screech. Fingers closed about the steak knife beside her plate and she leaned in, slashing the blade across the man's throat before he could even look surprised. He slumped forwards into his bowl of soup and Lila lifted her napkin, throwing the white linen over his head.
She whirled about and began peeling at her stole and dress, pulling pieces of it off as she hurried out the door. Kicking off heels and pulling off her dress, her skin shimmered and then solidified into a black catsuit. Hitting the street, she watched as a black car rolled up and the back window rolled down. Hurrying forwards, she jumped in through the window , she wriggled into the back seat as the vehicle drove away.
Lila picked at her curls, pulling them up into a tight tail as she looked to her savior. It was Kali of course, in all her luxurious and exotic self. Her right hand clutched at a champagne flute, heavily kohled eyes the colour of smouldering smoke.
"We verified the data you've obtained. Everything checked out and we no longer needed a man undercover."
Lips parted in a smirk and she swirled her glass.
"Of course, I had them stretch out the last week, only to watch you suffer some more."
Lila glared unhappily, but didn't say anything for fear of retaliation from her strict boss. The car pulled into an alleyway, and Kali gestured to the door, gesturing for the girl to leave.
"You're on your own for now. You'll have to meet up with the others at 24 hundred. I'm sure you'll find a way to contact them..you're so ever resourceful...Lila."
The pink haired assassin flashed a rather fake smile to her Boss, then exited the car, only to watch it drive away mere seconds after. Lila stared up the sides of the buildings between which she stood, determining what the best route to take would be. The police would be canvasing the streets soon enough. She had to make herself scare.

"This is Patrol Car 982, on normal patrol for activity, and if this thing is correct, there is a report of a murder in Las Haveton. I'm setting out an ABP, because the suspect, if the servants and droids are correct, is a woman, with pink hair! This is not normal, Patrol 982 Out!"
The motorcar drove down the road, its engine glowing brightly as the speeding machine' lights lit up. With the ABP released, they hoped they could find her soon enough, but then, who was she working for, how did she get away so quickly? These questions bothered the man, as he drove down the side street of Hub. Working the night beat was never worth the overtime.

Looks like a dull night tonight.
Remote slowly walked down the sidewalk of a populated city street, a hand on a pair of headphones on his head as he casually listened in on police scanners. Thanks to his connections as a mercenary, he had easy access to the low tech systems the police agencies around here used. He chuckled to himself as he caught wind of the message of an officer thinking someone with pink hair was "not normal", especially considering the fact this someone was a murderer. Only minutes earlier he had sidestepped past a blue haired cyborg man and his short elven girlfriend. Seriously, a giant robot had just crushed a bar in town just the other day, and everyone involved is either not to be found or not talking. But a murderer like this is not normal. Because she kills people? Maybe, but the only description the officer thought was important or even curious was her hair color.
This guy must be some kind of seriously green idiot.
He turned as a police car sped by, these guys just loved gathering attention didn't they? But that was just his opinion. He made his way to the restaurant that Lila had left and stared up at the building. He didn't have to go inside to do any form of an investigation. He pulled his PDA out of his coat and accessed the web, then went to the website for the restaurant. He looked into the camera system that the eatery used to show off its elegance to would be guests, and then hacked in to the site to gain access to the history of the recorded footage. Within moments he had a shot of the scene on camera. He looked the woman in the shot, and shook his head.
That was not normal? She was good looking no doubt about that, but her appearance was far from out of place in this kind of environment. A mostly neutral world that allowed for all factors of life and species from all over to the known universe, and there are still people thrown off by chicks with their hair dyed. He made sure to remove his trace of him accessing the restaurant's restricted files and then looked back and forth down the street. It looked like the police were starting to look around, at least they were prompt in that regard.
These guys aren't going to find squat...time for my good deed for the day.
He turned off his headphones and pulled them down to hang around his neck, and put his PDA into his pocket. He turned around the way he had came down the street and walked back towards a parking structure a short distance from the restaurant. Let's see if she was planning on grabbing herself from transportation. His own vehicle was there, so this little act was two birds with one stone. Or maybe he himself was just lazy, he wasn't getting paid to do this after all.

Lila reached into her side pocket, pulling free some large plate like disks the size of her hands and kneecaps. Pulling them on over the for mentioned appendages, she strapped them on tightly, then pressed her hand to the brick wall, testing it. It stuck, to her somewhat pleasant surprise. She pressed her other hand in turn, and soon was vertically climbing the wall. The wail of sirens below did little to phase her, as never had some lowly cop on patrol bested her in any sort of fight.
She did glance down at the city below once she had climbed a few stories. Pink curls whipped back against her face as she pressed her dark clothed figure to the cold brick of the wall she was currently climbing. The streets were a parade of red and blue sirens; that guy had been important after all.
Of course she'd heard all about how great he was more times then she'd cared to. The man hadn't even needed a woman, he practically got off on himself.
She snorted and resumed scaling the wall. In no time she had reached the topmost ledge and was hauling herself up over the cement guardrail, the hard man made rock pressing against her stomach and scraping through the catsuit as she let herself fall forwards. Her abdomen burnt for a moment or too with the scrape, but she ignored it, peeling off the discs and replacing them in favor for a pair of binoculars.
Pressing them up against the bridge of her nose, she peered through them, looking at each building that loomed in this steel jungle for some sight of her comrades.

Remote made his way over to the clear glass elevator once he got to the parking structure and stepped within its confines. He pushed the button to go to the top floor, and then began looking around through the windows as he was taken up. Something on the way up caught his eye. A rather shapely figure starting to make its way up a building. Spiderman? No, couldn't be, Spiderman didn't have those kind of curves, besides that guy never existed. Or did he exist? Remote brushed aside the thoughts running through his head. He crossed his arms and tapped his foot as he impatiently waited for the lift to reach its destination.
He pressed his way through the doorway as it opened with a ding upon reaching the correct floor. He dashed along the cars in the parking lot until he reached a well designed and highly advanced looking three wheeled car. The driver side door opened on its own as he came close to it and he jumped over the small hood. After Remote landed he fell backwards and landed in the seat, reaching over and grabbing a helmet from the passenger side. He quickly pulled the helmet over his head as the door shut automatically. He pushed his thumb down on a button that started the ignition and a small needle poked out into his thumb. After the security system scanned it was him via his thumbprint, the vehicle started and Remote stomped on the gas.
A squeal of tires sent the car lurching forward and he turned to face the edge of the edge of the structure. He paused only for a moment to put both hands on the wheel. He then raced towards the sudden drop that would certainly lead to the destruction of his car, and possibly himself. Just as he was about to reach the edge, he pushed a button on the inner edge of the steering wheel, and then the car bounced into the air thanks to a system of short burst jets built into the vehicle's frame. The car flew through the air and across the street and came slamming down onto the roof of a building. He pulled a three sixty on the roof and then just as he was about to back off of the building he pressed the same button again and his car jumped a second time. Remote's vehicle flipped through the air and lucky for him landed wheels first on the building Lila was climbing, who by now had reached the top of the building. The car slammed down on to the roof and thank goodness he didn't go crashing all the way through. He knocked over a bird feeder as he spun the car to face Lila. He still had one his hands on the wheel, the other on the clutch. He revved the car's motor a few times, playing a short tune with the rhythmic sounds of his car's powerful engine, nothing is implied.

Finally the sun had set, allowing night owls like her to stroll through the city. In fact, she was already sitting on the edge of a roof, observing the passers-by walking or running below her. Those normal humans never felt the slightest bit of freedom. They were like animals in a cage, bound to live normal boring lives, not breaking the smallest rule.
Maya ran a hand through her short violet hair, as her mouth opened slightly, revealing her pointed teeth.
"Seriously, rules are meant to be broken."
The whisper was carried with the wind, up in the air. But, because no one was around to hear it, it could just as well have been the wind, playing it's melody.
Suddenly, Maya's sensitive ears perceived a sound, and it wasn't hard to figure out what it was coming from. She couldn't help but smirk. Seconds later, she could feel her heart beating faster than usual as she clung to the wall, her hands and kneecaps stuck tightly to her own discs. That climbing equipment she had bought wasn't so bad after all. Though, Maya had not been expecting other "climbers" to be out tonight, so she was a little curious about who it could be.
Before she could think more, Maya heard a loud crash in the distance, as if a very heavy object was coming this way.
'Wow.' Maya thought to herself, as she quietly peeped over the edge of the building. The first thing that came to her mind though, was to get away as quickly as possible, for what came rushing down at the building at a rapid speed, did not look like anything she had seen before. Pushing away with her hands and her feet, Maya let herself fall some meters, then did a somersault in the air and landed perfectly on her feet, just in time to hear the crash and see the building slightly shake in front of her eyes. Some seconds later, she was climbing the wall again. That was too weird to just let it go. Anybody would want to find out what was going on. Peeping over the edge again, Maya could see a monster of a car, literally. Maya decided to stick around to see what was gonna happen.

Graven had unpacked his entire carrier and loaded its contents into organized crates with appropriate environmental conditions - the explosive charges were safely in a cooled container, the pistols and ammunition were neatly set apart, and that beautiful archaic weapon of explosive projectiles was nestled in one of his old briefcases - he had to bring it home, it couldn't be cooped up in some storage complex to gather cobwebs. He had a strange fascination with it, more deep than his fondness of the interior of smuggler vessels and newly opened bars. The briefcase worked perfect - it was not meant for carrying documents or else it'd not been in storage. It was meant exactly for what it was doing, concealing a weapon in a safe, reinforced box covered in leather so as to make it look more innocent than it was. Therefore inside it was strapped into the wall of the case and it shells were all separated into built in pockets, preventing it from shaking up or making noises inside - or blowing up in his hand and leaving him as much a war veteran as he felt like he was.
He stepped out into the cold, echoing halls of the enormous complex. The halls were small but the grid of it was so large over several floors that it had an eerie feel to it, like at any moment someone could peek around a corner at you and notice you were storing bombs and illegal arms. He lowered the sliding, garage-like door to his personal holdings and pad-locked it to the ground, storing the key on his own chain and walking casually away as though he had simply put away an old television and some holiday decorations. He stepped into the elevator, pressing a key on his carrier to make it retract back into the little capsule shape that was appropriate to it, and then pressed the button on the elevator panel labeled "1." With a quick jar followed by a smooth rising sensation, it would take Graven down to the ground level and he would return to the Hub night-life, perhaps to the Pilot's Bar, and maybe catch a drink with that Annora women he had so rudely abandoned, or even with Miss Eir given she had shaken her shadow well enough.
She did seem rather spooked in a certain way, he had realized on the way to the storage facility, but he had too hot a load to ask her if she was okay and maybe offer her a place to sleep. Now that his hands were free (aside from the briefcase carrying his new prized possession) he contemplated looking for her back at the Bar or in the alleys nearby to be sure she wasn't a bleeding husk in a dumpster. The idea didn't hold strong sway over him, though, as he had enough trust in his new favorite dealer that she was far from that place and doing just fine. The new age scoundrels, as he so affectionately called them, were really effective in their conduct. Back in the day it was all guns, coercion, and of course some good old well paid authorities. Now, paying off the authorities is as suicidal as trying to wrestle a Selachi in a pool of acid and firing off most guns requires a chip in your brain and a satellite watching you. It was a sickening world for old scum like Graven, and he never quite thought he could catch up to it. If anything, Miss Eir knew the ins and outs of the business better than he did - he could just fire a gun a hell of a lot better. He didn't even much know how to pilot a ship.
The elevator door opened and the briskness of the evening's cold breeze washed over him. He adjusted his fedora and dismounted the lift.

It wasn't very often one scaled a building like some sort of arachnid superhero, or even that some fancyily dressed woman killed someone in a high end restaurant with a steak knife. But it wasn't often that one drove small high tech Japanese car up the walls of buildings and perform acrobatic stunts with it like some sort of overly flashy display of masculinty.
The engine revved and Lila jerked the binoculars down with a snap as they closed shut. She couldn't exactly search for her team mates with whom ever it was sitting in the car across from her. Bounty Hunters were becoming far too efficient in this city, outshining even the local law enforcement. Blue eyes narrowed to accompany the frown that painted across her full lips as she momentarily turned her head to the side, noting the strange girl that had scaled the walls of the building in a similar manner. Was this some sort of race to the finish for all the assassins in this town? How popular Lila must be, to have others copying her style not even minutes after that fact.
She brought up a gloved hand to flick away at the thick pink curls draped over her shoulder with a soft 'hmph' under her breath, dismissing the woman clinging at the building's edge as any sort of threat. As the bounce of soft curls left her fingertips, he arm outstretched forwards dramatically as she spoke to whom ever piloted the vehicle.
"I don't know who you are, but I don't take kindly to intrusions upon my rooftop soirees."
And with that, Lila broke into a brisk step, the first placement of her foot springing her into a flip that twisting her body around to float over the top of the small vehicle. Her body arched and stretched with an impressive display of curves until she landed with a soft pad of booted feet atop the car's roof and a jiggle of confined flesh. Her hand swept down to her left hip where the holograph hidden bag of tricks lay, hand sending it to shimmer into sight as a harsh click. When she withdrew her hand, it wore something that appeared to be a set of over sized brass knuckles. However, when she flexed her hand into a fist, electricity cracked and sparked over the digits. It would be anyone's guess what the voltage was, but cars didn't really have a sense of 'guessing'. That was unfortunate, for it was the first to receive the onslaught when Lila crouched down on one knee and slammed her fist into the roof of the car, smashing the metal like it was crumpled aluminum and nothing more. Electricity bloomed upwards in heated visible ribbons, crackling as it licked at her hair, but doing no damage to her otherwise.
The damage to the outer hull of the car however, was something an insurance claims man would have laughed hysterically at.

He watches the woman jump onto the top of his car and looks up through the front windshield. It was a shame Laison had taken out the car's shock barrier, seeing as it drained too much energy from the vehicle's batteries, that would solved this problem a lot quicker. What the hell is she doing up there anyway? He thought he saw her slip something onto her hand and leans to the side in an attempt to see what she was doing, the view was no good. The door opened automatically and Remote leaned out of the door to look up to her. He watched her body shift around her arm raise into the air, causing a frown to cross his lips. Crap, Laison had just finished detailing this thing just the other day.
She had better not...
Remote's car is weaker that Lila assumes it would be, and as she punches her hand into the rather small space that makes up the roof of the vehicle, her hand sinks right through car's frame and is graciously offered before Remote's person. He doesn't hesitate in the slightest as he grabs the arm coming through the top with his hands and twists it backwards at the elbow using the two bars that make up the roll cage for the ceiling as a brace to keep her limb from moving properly. The intended result of his actions should be obvious, he was strong enough where he could tear a normal man's arm off in this manner, but seeing as she's punching holes in cars she was clearly not normal.

Well she hadn't expected to have enough force to punch right through the roof. Obviously these foreign models were made cheap and sold high. The gouged metal scratched at the material of the glove, threatening to shred the material as her hand passed through into the interior of the vehicle. That wasn't good.
She gave a gasp as fingers touched her arm, but that only was the prelude to a shrill scream as he jerked her arm in the improper direction and snapped the bone. She fell flat on the roof, her body smashed against the glass and a painful throb going through her chest as it absorbed most of the shock. Tears dotted at the corners of her eyes and she screamed again, though this time it was filled with rage as opposed to pain.
The air crackled with electricity and grew thick and heavy. Sparks lit from her open mouth and down across her fingertips and suddenly it became evident that the electricity had not come from the weapon at all, but rather Lila herself. With that scream, the voltage was sent instantly into the fleshy conductor of the hand that grabbed at her arm. The metal of the car only helped to conduct it further, acting as a sort of electric chair to cook whoever was inside.

Like most cars, most of the electricity sent through the vehicle itself goes right on through and ends up being grounded into the roof of the building. Since Remote's tires weren't wet there wasn't much actual harm done to the car at all. His seat was covered with leather and made with a tough plastic frame, so it wouldn't conduct anything either and the only thing getting electrocuted now was his connection from him to her.
Remote felt nothing other than the messages his body sent him telling him it was being harmed. His limbs had been replaced with high end non-metal cybernetic parts. This allowed for a body that could almost still be considered human in its function, but far more durable. Thankfully, it also meant he didn't have pain receptors.
He yanked his hands away as he was initially shocked, the sudden surge of energy into his body threw him back into his seat. His hands sizzled for a few moments before taking on a ragged looking state, smoke rising from the exposed flesh in the spaces of his riding gloves. The fact that his synthetic flesh on his hands was burned and the fact his expensive gloves were ruined only succeeded in making him angry. The nanomachines placed in the artificial blood flowing through his body would begin acting almost immediately, they wouldn't be able to actual heal the current damage to his hands, but they'd at least give them a degree of functionality. Remote spoke through gritted teeth.
Son of a bitch!
Almost as a nervous reaction, he slammed his fist down on the steering wheel of his car, pressing down one of the buttons that would activate the jump jets that were used to maneuver the car into the air. Due to the buttons pressed only one of the side jets kicked in and the car suddenly spun sideways, the burst not powerful enough to lift the car off the ground and only causing it roll sharply. While the outside frame of the vehicle was made of a lightweight aluminum alloy, the roll cage was made of durable steel with a ceramic coating to greatly increase its structure's capacity for damage. This cage would allow Remote would be safe from the actual roll of the car across the roof of the building, but the same couldn't be said for the person currently on top the car with her arm run through the ceiling and hooked between the bars on the top part of the roll cage.

Lila cursed and screamed again as she jerked her already twisted arm at impossible angles. The bones of her elbow and wrist dislocated at the joints, and her hand grew limp enough for her to pull it free. As the car began to perilously turn and roll to the side, Lila kicked off with her legs and propelled herself away from the vehicle. Of course, this also sent her over the edge of the building, which as something she hadn't quite counted on.
"Shit...!" she cursed as the wind swept her hair up in her face, obscuring her view as she whipped down the length of the skyscraper. Her broken arm flopped uselessly in the wind, and it made her grimace in pain as she stretched her left hand over to fumble through her pouch in search of something...anything to break her fall.
Then she remembers her watch doubles as a teleporter and flicks it on to phase her off to some nice house in the countryside where she enjoys a good afternoon tea and scones before going to a doctor to see about getting her arm fixed.

The car continued to roll until it caught itself on the edge of the building and stopped with Remote hanging upside down in the driver's seat. He looked around for a moment, he could sworn he heard her scream. He turned his head to look out of the open doorway of his vehicle, and then motioned for it close once more. He gripped the wheel with one hand and pressed a lever behind the steering wheel of the car to change the direction the jets attached would aim their thrust, and then used a burst to right his car on the ground once again. He surveyed the damage to his car, a frown appeared on his face from under his helmet.
Laison is gonna have my ass for this.
He accelerated his car to the edge of the building and then used the jump jets to get him back onto the parking structure. He started speeding his car away from the scene. Things were going as well as he had hoped, it was time to get out of here.
