I'm going to my grandmas house in New york city for vacation.Anyone know any good sight seeing areas...i am already going to see the statue of liberty.

Any tips?

I odn't really know that much about New York, everyone had told me it is alot of fun to just walk around going shopping, also theres the empire state building, time square, ground zero, stuff like that. If it were me I would be going to broadway and seeing a play, I love acting. Hope you enjoy the trip!

I warn you, sir: you are about to visit the most paranoid city on Earth. Don't do anything suspicious. Don't even say the word "bomb" in public; you're liable to get arrested.

I don't know too much about New York City from personal experience, but I hear stories. Don't let anyone drag you into alleyways because they have cheaper designer stuff. 90% of the time, it's knock offs, and they're dragging you down an alley to go to a huge warehouse or something. New York is filled with seedy people. My boss was lucky that it was just a warehouse of knock-offs that she and her friend were taken to. I've heard stories where people weren't so lucky.

I don't want to scare you. Just keep your head on a swivel, and don't do anything or go anywhere that you feel at all uncomfortable or that something is out of place. If it seems off, it probably is.

Make sure you go to Central Park! I want to visit New York within the next year, and that is definitely on my list. <3
