Introduction

There are many worlds as there are many resources. Some places have more then others and some places have nothing at all. Trading has existed since the dawn of time and will continue to exist way into the future.

The same can be said with murder.

Convicts, rapists, thieves, druggies, and all maner of evil lurk within the hearts of every being. So what happens when simple people on a simple trade vessel become witness to something hostile... to a convict. The worst part is, this is not any convict.

This is a mastermind.

Someone whom would slit your throat without hesitation and has plans as vast as space itself. Can you outsmart the evil within?

Setting:

Space. A trade route from Planet Grish (Holds valuable metals) to Planet Hch Sol. The entire role play will take place on a ship. The set up is as follows:

*3000 yards in length, little over a mile long.
*Width varies from 150 yards to 400 yards.
*The ship is rectangular.
*Each portion is divided up as follows (from front to rear)

((Keep in mind that the rooms are not in a straight line, some might be above others or to the side.))

Story

If you haven't figured it out by now, there is a convict on your ship. You are unaware of his presence and he is being transported as a prisoner from the final storage room. Only the captain, soldiers, and occasional crew members know he is on the ship. The rest of the passengers and crew men know nothing of him mostly because the captain was unwilling to cause panic among his crew/passengers. The voyage is long and who knows what will happen.

One Last note, I need someone to PM me if they are interested in taking on a "special job" in the story. If no one does it, then I can handle it. It would just be nice to not have to do everything. :(

Due to her experience as a teacher (both with students and 'concerned' parents) she has a lot of patience and can be firm and stubborn when necessary. It takes a lot to ruffle her feathers.

Personality: Kailyn is shy and rarely speaks. She loves children to the point that she is funding more than 20 homeless shelters. To say she's loaded is an understatement, she's practically swimming in money but this wealth hasn't gotten to her head.
Appearance: Standing at about 5'8" she has caramel-toned skin and big chocolate brown eyes framed with black-rimmed glasses. She matured early, so she's use to wearing baggy shirts to hide it, even though she's now 26. Her dark brown hair is shoulder-length and normally shows red streaks when she's in the sun too long.
Bio: Kailyn grew up in a wealthy family, surrounded by corrupt adult figures and snotty brat siblings. She herself stood out as the kind one, the sweet one, the one who would never hurt anyone with her greed, which is why she was spared when her family was gunned down on an ocean-liner. Since then she rarely speaks but still has her cheerful attitude. She retained her sweet demeanor even when she inherited all her parent's money. However when she has her moments she's known to be cold-hearted and cruel.

Personality: Where there used to be a kind hearted boy, now there is a bitter cold-hearted man. Life took it's toll on Ren all too swiftly while he was growing up. His life mainly revolves around money and how to make more of it. Coming from a poor background has given him no sympathy for the less fortunate, instead he believes they should work harder to get out of their lifestyle, as he did. Sometimes he can come across as charming and nice, but underneath it all, this is just a way to manipulate.
Appearance: He's not quite fat, but he's not a thin man. Clean shaven and well kept, his pitch black hair has such a shine that it almost has a silver tint. He likes to wear silk shirts in dark colours, blues and blacks mainly, over beige canvas trousers. His skin is quite pale and milky. Most of the time he can be seen with a cheesy grin across his face, but again this is about as real as his charm.
Bio: Growing up on a poor planet was hard for Ren, but losing both his parents at the age of 9 made it that much harder. He turned to thievery to survive, learning the tricks of getting around security. At the age of 12 he found himself working for a local general store, at first simply because it made robbing the store that much easier. After seeing how crazed people get over the latest trends in products, he started thinking how easy it would be to outperform the store. After just turning 16 he began to buy from the store's supplier and sell cheaper on the side. When the store went bust, he swept in to buy it and things started from there. Currently he's a wealthy man who prefers to travel in search of more wealth than to be tied down by any one business.

Appearance: Due to his race looking identical to human there aren't to many differences to his appearance, other then his perfectly cut physique and rather tall appearance standing at 6'9, making him a giant amongst most humans, though his race does have three physical traits that set them apart from humans, first their eyes are like that of a wolves slit and always looking deep and ready for a fight, and then their canines are sharper, and they have pointed ears. Other then that he appears entirely human,
Race Bio:His race is from a planet almost identical to earth though the axis is off making gravity alittle heavier which makes his body so fit and tall, being he had to fight against gravity to grow and get stronger. Even the female of his race are very solid built but don't get as tall,

Equipment: Due to his near perfect physical health, his reflexes are sharper then most humans and rarely has a need for any kind of weapon, though he carries the standard sidearm and a favorite weapon of his, a sword hand crafted by his father for him, though it resembles the Nodachi from Earth. He has long black hair though silver bangs, his eyes left gold right blood red he carries a tribal tattoo over the left side of his face too, do to his status in his race, being one of the very few to master their hand-to-hand combat training.

Is it alright if I use a created alien race called the Koparans, who are a very scientific species, who only fight when they absolutely have to? He could be on the ship as a freelance Engineer, because this Koparan is an adventurer ship-hopping his way across the galaxy when the convict plot happens. I'll put down the character thing, and I think he would be a good addition to the story.

Soki- Somehow, I knew you would show up. XD Your character is fine Soki and you will be one of the people allowed to know about the convict on the ship. I will fill you in with any details I feel you might need to know.

CrashChamber- I am assuming your job on the ship is an engineer. Everything is fine except for the telepathy thing. I don't mind your race being more in tune with people's emotions and such but being able to look into the souls of others seems rather... much. Please elaborate on what you mean by looking into souls. Are you a lie detector? Can you read minds? Also, please limit the ability, for example, you have to look into the persons eyes or touching the person.

Optimus- I think I have played in something with you before. Your character is fine, just indicate what his job on the ship is. Is he crew or passenger who just happens to have knowledge of ships?

I agree with the telepathy thing being a little much, but I was basing it off of an earlier character I'd already created. I'm fine with taking it out altogether, but if you're happy with the personality/skin color changing, I'm happy too.

It says 'temporary nav...officer' and 'free-lancer.' My character is a free-lancer, doing whatever work that needs done, and he has been hired as a navigational officer on that ship.

Great! I everyone is accepted so far. I will create an IC thread that will start on a planet which you will be boarding the ship. This is for people to get intro posts in and get to know each other, assuming the meet.

**Once the ship starts it voyage, I will not be allowing any other people to join the RP. If you interested, then please PM me before posting a character sheet.**
