It was a cold fall day as Avera entered a town. The werent zombies in town at all, just normal people. A man walked up to Avera. "Hello young lady. Are you heading towards the safe camps?" He asked her. Avera put her hood down: "I am heading there to look for my family." "Its cold out want some foo..." The man noticed Averas red eyes and her fangs. "You are one of them, a zombie." The man said in fear. Then Avera said: "That is the problem with you people. You cant tell the difference from a Crimson Shadow and a zombie." "Crimson shadow? What is that?" The man asked. Then Avera replied: "Zombies are retarded living corpses who are aggressive and cannot run. Crimson shadows like me still think human and act human. We can run faster than normal humans and live off of human flesh. I only eat zombies." "If that is so we can at least trust you a bit. We have zombies in the woods and would gladly reward you with supplies if you get rid of them but we cant let you sleep in our town." The man said and guided Avera to the woods where the zombies were. Avera soon tracked down zombies and took them apart with her bare hands. She then feasted on their corpses and saw the man watching. "Cant you see I am eating?" She said. The man looked away. After eating Avera packed some meat in zip lock bags and went with the man back to town. The people were glad because of Avera getting rid of the zombies but scared by the blood on her face and hands. They gave Avera a tent, a lighter, some drinks and a camping cooker. Then she set off back down the road. When night fell she put up the tent and started to make dinner.

Juri wobbled a little as he walked down the road, seeing a light, he sneezed, it echoed all around, his red eyes were complimented by the moonlight over-head. He had no fangs and had the scent of a real zombie, which landed him into some problems quite a lot, he just hoped the person in the tent would listen to him

Avera heard a sneeze. She looked down the road to notice a person coming towards her. Was it a zombie? She took out a piece of arm and took a bite from it. Then she got up and walked towards the zombie. "Hello? Who are you? A zombie or a human?" She said. Then she thought loudly: "If the person is a zombie, then I will eat him. But maybe it could be someone like me. His scent is though the one of a zombie." She inspected the being from afar. "Might be a zombie. Doesnt seem to have fangs."

Juri simply sneezed again, coughing beginning now, he looked up slightly, still a good 20-30 metres away from Avera, he kept walking towards her slowly, still not talking for some reason, his facial features were unable to be seen due to the dark clothing he wore.

Alexa yawned as she traveled along the road the night was cold but she didnt mind she was more tired than freezing right now. For two days straight she had to travel without any rest because of the constant zombie attacks she had to deal with she knew she was getting tired even if she was trained to be able to forced herself to go for a few days without rest even she had limits. "Dammit if i dont get some sleep soon im gonna fall face down on this road..." She muttered to herself. From afar she could see a tent and a light she didnt know if she could aproached whoever was in there but she really didnt have any choice at the moment. Not long after spotting the tent she saw another figure walking towards it wobbling a bit she almost thought that it was a zombie but hearing the guy sneezed calmed her nerves.

"There is only one way to find out if he is a zombie or not. If I tear off his finger and is a human then he will scream and if he regenerates he is a crimson shadow. If he doesnt react then I will kill him." Avera thought loudly again. She walked up to the boy and pulled his pinky off.

Juri squeaked a little, backing off slowly, it was actually really painful for him, glaring at the girl now, he didnt exactly know that he could or even how to regenerate, backing off quite some distance, sobbing to himself, mumbling something under his breath, he sneezes again, the cold really beginning to get to him now.

Alexa was near the two when she saw the girl yanked the boy´s pinky she winced knowing that it must have hurt alot. Normally she wouldnt even react to something like this she was used to it since she had done something much worst than that. But her family wasnt around to dictate her she did had to kill them but oh well. "Wow thats gotta hurt" She said walking up to the two.

"Are you a human because if you were like me it would automatically regenerate. At least you reacted or I would have killed you. Come her have some cooked zombie." Avera said to the boy. She walked back to her tent and cooked some extra meat. "Dont be shy. Come." She said, then tasting the meat to see if it was done.

Juri sat down, a few metres away from the girl, quite scared of her, still in pain, his red eyes glowing slightly, slowly his pinky was regenerating as he watched the flame.

Alexa watched the two as she sat down leaning against a tree before taking out an energy bar. She rarely does carry heavy foods opting instead on carrying energy bars as her food supply she glanced back at the boy noticing that he was in pain but what sparked her interest was his red eyes. She had seen people with eyes like those Crimson Shadows they were called she didnt have any problems with them even if they were zombies but some were kind enough so she really wasnt that scared of them.

"Wait! I smell the scent of a human nearby. If a human tries to kill us I still got my rifle." Avera took her rifle out and began to follow the scent. She noticed a girl leaning on a tree. "Hello? Who is there?" She called towards the girl. "If you are here to kill us human, then I am prepared to fight!"

Alexa quickly glanced at the girl holding a rifle "Hey calm down im not gonna kill you guys!! And uhm... Exactly why should i?" She asked. She wasnt really afraid of the rifle though she just hoped that the girl believed her since she was literally telling the truth. Though it still unerved her when someone does a point a gun at her especially a rifle.

"We are crimson shadows. Humans normally hate us because of bad experiences or because they dont know the difference between us and zombies." Avera said to the girl. "What makes us different than zombies is that we still think human and we are faster. But we still eat human flesh though even if its zombie flesh. That is what I am cooking right now."

"Depends really for every human but fear does that to them and ive met a few of your kind and they were quite nice so i dont really have any problems with Crimson shadows" she said as she watched the fire "Its only zombies i have a problem with" She joked a bit a she ate her energy bar a normal persom would have been digusted at the sight of human meat cooking but it didnt bothered her one bit.

"Come have a seat. I got veggies too." Avera said to the girl. "I am Avera. Who are you?" She said. Avera finished cooking her meat and put it on a plate. "Come on boy. Here is some food. Eat up." Avera said to the boy who was sitting with her. She turned to the girl again: "I have been wandering since Canada. It has been a long way here. I am heading towards the safe areas Seattle and Vancouver."

Charlie was hidding in the trees looking at the girls and the boy holding both of his desert eagles he comes out and saids:

"!freeze!" "are you guys friendlys or i have to shoot? i dont want too but if you make do it"
