Background: He grew up in Illinois, where he lived with his uncle who took him out hunting when he was younger, he thought his uncle was his father until he was finally told when he was fourteen. His uncle died when he was eighteen and he left, taking the guns his grandfather had kept from the Second World War as mementos, and travelling for a while. He ended up in Minnesota where he lazily attended college for three years, and agreed to dye his hair red for the duration of college so that his friend would pay his rent for him.
He was away for the weekend in Winnipeg when the Apocalypse hit, luckily he had taken his grandfathers guns and a combat knife, refusing to go anywhere without taking them. He found a gun store with people smashing display cases and taking all the guns they could. He got in and grabbed as much rifle and pistol ammo as he could, which he stuffed into his Danish style bag, and got out of there as quickly as possible.
He was driving around Canada, trying to avoid areas with a large population when he realised he had forgotten about taking any food, stopping the car he searched around, but all he could find at such short notice was zombie meat, and being so far from any city he would starve to death before he could get any food. He ended up setting up a small fire and cooking the zombie meat, which he soon ate, and the next morning he awoke to find his skin was paling, whilst his eyes had turned red his teeth sharpened into fangs and he began to crave flesh. He repulsed all those around him, some so repulsed and frightened that they tried to kill him, claiming that he was a brain-eating zombie. He began travelling around North America again, sure that he would soon meet his fate and turn up in some ditch as just another zombie.
