"I'm sure he does," Matt said frankly. He sat back donw to his tea and looked Celia over. "How did you meet Shojoro anyway Celia-san?"

"I...actually, Shojoro was the one that came to me. I was in trouble with some guys, and he came over and helped me out of it." Celia shrugged, feeling that saying that much wouldn't be a bad thing. She didn't want to tell Matt how she was constantly beat up, but telling him of one incident didn't seem like too big of a deal.

Matt smiled to himself, a knight in shining armor he stole off a deadman. At least, that's how it used to be. Shojoro seemed differant now, still loyal and indearing like usual, but more warm now. Before he'd been a bit more like a wolf in a pack. This girl seemed to have turned him into a retriever. He wanted to tell her so, but didn't want to risk Shojoro's reaction if she told. "So, he made them leave you alone; how does that lead you to live with him?"

"Well, you see...My...my situation wasn't very good. My parents are horribly inattentive and my school was really bad. So...Shojoro took me in to get me out of that bad situation. He saved me." That was definitely true, Shojoro had saved Celia. She knew that if she was still where she had been, she'd either be miserable, or maybe even dead.

Matt nodded, feeling that she might be being a little melodramatic though. "So, how long have you been living with him." He felt his voice becoming smaller and smaller as he spoke.

He knew that Shojoro slept soundly in the next room, but he'd never felt so far away. Like there was a sea that separated them.

"Not very long, actually. Just a couple days." Celia shrugged, half-wondering why Matt was so interested in all of this. But then she remembered that he and Shojoro were friends, and she assumed they must be close ones, so Matt's curiousity actually did make sense.

"Alright, that's good enough for me." Matt felt a bit unstable as he got to his feet and came close to Celia, pertching where Shojoro had been next to her on the couch. "What do you plan to do after you've moved in together and started this new life of yours?" He looked very intently into Celia's eyes.

Celia looked back into Matt's eyes, thinking a lot about her answer. "I...I just want Shojoro to be happy. I want us both to be happy, and to live peacefully. I want to give him whatever he wants." Honestly, she wasn't completely sure how she felt about Shojoro. She liked him, as a friend and savior, but other than that she was just unsure. She didn't think too much on it, though, at the moment. "I just want Shojoro to be happy..." That was the main thing, which is why she had repeated it.

Matt sat back with his eyes on Celia, growing colder and colder as his eyes grew soft. He wouldn't say how that made him feel, as he wanted whatever would make Shojoro happy as well, but he desired some happiness too. Honestly though, all his life he'd been surpressing things, not just thoughts but passions and questions. It was just in his nature. He turned his head away from Celia, but could make no reply.

Celia didn't really understand why Matt acted this way, but she just looked to the ground when his eyes had left her. He hadn't replied, and that made her a bit nervous, but she didn't try to force him to, just sitting there uncomfortably. "Um...d-did I...say something wrong?" She then asked, just wondering. He hadn't seemed to like her answer.

He looked at her as though she were pittiful, just someone who was at the wrong place at the right time. "No..." He whispered. It was all he could manage. He still looked away from her but hpt his hand on her shoulder and stood. "I'm going to bed, but first I'll show you your room."

Celia didn't like the way he looked at her, and she had looked away, just nodding a little when he said he'd show her her room. "Thank you." She said softly, voice small because of how uneasy she was feeling. But this was Shojoro's friend, so she was going to make herself not show that uneasiness. "I appretiate it." She stood then, following where he led her.

"Right." he muttered and led her down the hall to the room opposite Shojoro's. "You can stay in here." He opened the door to a darkened room, where the only light was an eerie red glow cast by the twilight through the curtains. There was a bed, nightstand and a dresser, but other than that nothing was there to brighten the room, save a painting of a hand delicately holding flowers above the bed.

Celia followed silently, looking into the room when the door opened, then nodding some. "Alright. Thanks again." With a small nod to Matt, she then walked into the room, just walking over to the bed. She was pretty tired, and just wanted to sleep, hoping Shojoro would be better in the morning and she would be able to be around him again, and not have to be alone with Matt. Nothing personal against him, really...he just made her uneasy.

Matt shut the door slowly with one last look at her, as if to make sure she was still who she said she was at the beginning. He turned to his own room, blue in contrast. It seemed to fit his mod that everything had a navy to light blue quality to it, even his own flesh was taken in by the overbearing light frim the curtains. He undressed and slipped into bed, hoping that Shojoro would be more himself in the morning and that Celia didn't take his distaste for her too personally.

Celia didn't try to think too much, just going to sleep as soon as possible. It took a little while, though, for her to fall asleep. But she did manage to eventually, and then she slept through the rest of the night. It wasn't the best of sleep, but it wasn't bad, and it was the rest that she needed. In the morning when she woke, she just yawned, stretched, and sat up, looking around some.

Shojoro was still in bed, deeply sleeping when Matt looked in on him. He hadn't slept at all in a few days because of a book that was driving him mad, and now with this added stress he looked even worse. His eyes were a bit red, with heavy circles under them. He moved rather sluggishly to make breakfast, which really consisted of coffee and eggs.

He sat poking them in the kitchen with a solumn expression.

Celia got out of bed after a bit, quietly leaving the room and looking around a bit. She found the kitchen, then saw Matt. And he didn't look very good, much like Shojoro hadn't. Lack of sleep? She guessed that had to be it. "Um...g-good morning. I...did you sleep well?" She was more nervous now, in the morning, after not having been around him for those hours of sleep.

He gave her a sour 'what do you think' sort of look, but did not reply to her question. "Would you like breakfast Celia-san?"

Celia looked away after getting that look, biting her lip some and shaking her head. "N-No thank you...I'm not really hungry." Turning, she walked out of the room, not really wanting to be around Matt too much. Not when Shojoro wasn't there. She didn't know why Matt seemed to dislike her so much, but he did, and she didn't know how she could change it.
