Abilities: Riley's grasp on his abilites as a shape-shifter are quite advanced, though there are flaws to his system of transformation. The time limitation on transformations is frustratingly short, giving him only a short amount of time to accomplish whatever it is he sets his mind to. Riley still has yet to fiure out why these periods are so short, and it is rather frustrating for him. Though, Riley is Riley, and it is extremely difficult to read him. Cowboys are tough and do not let their emotions bleed through.
Background: Riley was adopted at the age of two by a rancher and his wife in Wako, TX, probably as far away from fround zero as possible. They knew nothing of his shape-shifting abilities upon completeion of his adoption. Riley lived out his childhood and adolesence on the ranch, working and learning how to handle his ability on his own, using it to his advantage when it came to rodeo and sport, as well as working on the ranch and at neighboring ranches. It wasn't until after highschool while working for his father that Riley was admitted to the asylum. Ahortly after the dropping of the bomb, one of Riley's co-workers found him testing his abiliies, shifting into somebody that the co-worker knew. This frightened the co-worker beyond belief. Why? Because the person that Riley had transformed into had died hours before the incident and the Asylum was called. Riley was taken under police escort to the Asylum, and he is not happy about it.
Current Emotional/Mental Status: Riley Kade is furious and is displaying his emotions at a rather alarmingly dangerous rate. He might be pissed but he is still rather calm. He just lashes out does not accept eye contact from anyone at the moment. He's gone a bit primal for now, until he gets settled. Its almost like he's an angry drunk, without the drinking. Just as beligerent, but still unusually coherent.

I know this profile is a little bit different from what you are looking for, but I am hoping that this is alright. I really like this character, and right now, it would be really great for me to play somebody like this. Let me know!!
